With a beach moments away, the port just up the road, and the centre of town close by, these apartments have location sorted.
The best thing about these apartments is the location. They’re just a few minutes’ walk from the port, and you can be at the shops, bars and restaurants at the heart of town in less than 10 minutes. Plus, there’s a small, sandy stretch practically on the doorstep, and Pollensa Beach is around a 20-minute wander away.

At base, the main focus is the curvy pool at the centre of the complex. It comes with a section for kids, and first-rate views of Puerto Pollensa’s rugged mountains. Nearby, you’ll find a TV room and a buffet restaurant. There’s a weekly barbecue night as well.

If you’d rather cook, you can rustle up a meal in your apartment. They’re set in 3-storey buildings around the pool, and tick off basics like kitchenettes, satellite TVs and air-conditioning. Plus, they all come with balconies where you’ll find a table and 2 chairs.

Your guide to Puerto Pollensa, Majorca

“Mix a good dollop of traditional Majorca with plenty of things to see and do, lay them out around a wide, curving sandy bay, and there you have Puerto Pollensa.”

Set against a backdrop of mountains, Puerto Pollensa’s a charming resort that’s made up of great restaurants, lazy days on the beach, and a sleepy way of life.

And the scenery’s not bad either. You’ll find traditional Mallorcan stone houses mingling with modern villas, built around the curved, palm-shaded bay. This is a popular spot for early evening strolls, where you can stop halfway and sit down at the pavement cafés and restaurants. You’ll find traditional spots offering typically Spanish grub, or Indian and Chinese restaurants tempting you with an international flavour.

Food aside, the beach is definitely one to check out. This wide, sandy shore slips gently into the shallow sea, where little ones can safely splash in the waters. Older types can create a splash further down, where there’s watersports galore. We’re talking windsurfing, sailing, waterskiing and plenty more besides.

But don’t confine yourself to the beach every day, especially when it’s so easy to explore the surrounding area. A short journey will take you to the charming Roman town of Pollensa, packed with traditional architecture and quaint shops.

Or check out the northern point of Formentor, where you can soak up the spectacular roads or take a boat trip around the base of the immense cliffs.
