The Club Del Sol Aparthotel is tailor-made for families. It comes with a couple of pools, a minigolf circuit, and a slide-filled splash park.
The Club Del Sol Aparthotel gets a big tick for location. It’s right on the outskirts of Puerto Pollensa, so you can reach the nearby pebbly beach in five minutes on foot. If you’d prefer a sandy stretch, 20 minutes’ walk will get you to the resort’s restaurant-lined seafront.
Everything’s set up for little ones here. There’s a kids’ club and a shallow pool for the youngest tots, plus a tropical-themed splash park and a minigolf course for older children.

Good for kids, but getting tired. Isolated Location
Firstly let me say the staff including pool life guard were exceptional. So the average score is due to firstly: the location which is quite far away from Pollensa and Alcudia. Although public transport and taxis are frequent. We did walk to Puerto Pollensa once as it was too far for our 7 year old who i had to carry & the road is very busy. It is a little isolated especially on an evening as you are in the middle of nowhere. The "beach" opposite the hotel is really not a beach at all but a rocky, pebble strewn waste land unsuitable for sunbathing or swimming. secondly the apartments are really dated but I understand a full refurb is underway and not before time. Ants were also an issue in the ground floor room we had. I awoke one morning with ants in the kitchenette and one of them in my ear. Having said that the pool areas were brilliant with a small splash park for the kids and a good sized main pool. Plenty of sun loungers available so no hogging was required. Food was also good and evening entertainment was fair but fine for the kids. the location may suit some but If only it was closer to a proper beach, restaurants & shops i would have awarded it another star.More
Not for me at all especially for the price
In my opinion this hotel is definitely not value for money,I found the all inclusive to be shocking for my taste as it was 90% fish dishes and maybe 3 or 4 choices at best of an evening time and you couldn't really make a meal with the options and side dishes as it was the most random food, most of the time I ended up having bits and bobs from the children's section which just isn't what you would expect from a 4 star premium hotel (which I would realistically rate as an average 3). I also found that the drinks were very strong and had a bad taste to them so I ended up with soft drinks for the 12 days. We had a room on the ground level with enough space on the balcony for a large table and chairs which is different from a lot of hotels. The main pool was lovely and seemed to always have enough sunloungers for everyone who wanted one. The views from the hotel and pool were also lovely as I think pollenca is as a whole, however it is a good half hour walk from the beach (which is beautiful) along a very long road,so I would definitely recommend getting a bus there. The entertainment on offer was worse than nothing, and in fact towards the end of the holiday I went back to the room to watch the Great British Bake Off,which I enjoyed a great deal more. All in all the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and very well maintained but for me it just isn't an all inclusive hotel and I don't really know what is there for children to keep them entertained really apart from a caged in football pitch that can only be used a few times a day. Me and my family really enjoyed it here. The hotel is in a good location, A short bus ride to the shops and the beach. We enjoyed the entertainment and also the choice and quality of the food. Great place for families. We would like to return in the future. More
Love nearly everything about this place!
We have had 3 great holidays at Club del Sol and thoroughly enjoyed almost everything the place has to offer. We love the pools, we have a 5 year old and the quiet pool at block 5/6 is our favourite. Almost all the staff are fab too, particularly the restaurant staff. We love Carmen in the restaurant and Jean on reception. The food is good but we don't rate it as 4 star quality. By the end of our second week we are looking for a bit more variety as it becomes a little "dinner schooly." Location-wise, we are happy that it is a little out of town and enjoy the walk into the Port or happy to jump on the, very reasonably priced bus down to the beach! The animateur who did the children's disco this year was horrendous. We found our evenings spent being berrated and harassed by an egotist, who struggled to form any relationship with the children he was trying to entertain. As a professional who works with children every day I go on holiday to relax and enjoy spending time with my family and do not wish to be told that I am not appreciating my child's participation. We felt his need for constant berrating of parents merely reinforced his inability to engage with young people. We really love Club del sol but the evening entertainment really let's the hotel down.More

Annual sisters holiday
My sister I stayed at this hotel in September, we went all inclusive. But be aware of some of the following: Towels for the pool - 1 euro a day and five euro deposit. Can change them up to three times in the week at reception. Safe - 21 euros for the week with a 5 euro deposit. Government tax 1.50 euro each day. Sporting equipment was for hire too, not included. Meals were plenty and lots to choose from. Breakfast 8.30-10.30am Lunch 1.00-3.00pm Dinner 6.30-9.00pm Snack bar 10.30-5.00pm Bar in the main hotel - 5.00-12.00 You are allowed to take drinks back to your room after the bar closes. We were asked to form a que when going up to the bar, lots of people found it quite funny. Two swimming pools, main one is for all the activities and the other is the quieter one. The second pool does not have a bar/snacks so you have to walk round to the other for supplies. Entertainment was average, we did watch some of the shows as the hotel has nothing else around it, unless you get a bus or taxi into town. There Is a children's disco in the evening, but we felt it went on too long, with lots of children's just running around on the stage and mucking about, staff did there best to resume some order but the parents just let them do it ! We had a very large apartment with self catering if we wanted it. Pool view and room cleaned every day. The hotel was closing in October for a refurb. Saw some photo's , looked very good. More
