The Club Del Sol Aparthotel is tailor-made for families. It comes with a couple of pools, a minigolf circuit, and a slide-filled splash park.
The Club Del Sol Aparthotel gets a big tick for location. It’s right on the outskirts of Puerto Pollensa, so you can reach the nearby pebbly beach in five minutes on foot. If you’d prefer a sandy stretch, 20 minutes’ walk will get you to the resort’s restaurant-lined seafront.
Everything’s set up for little ones here. There’s a kids’ club and a shallow pool for the youngest tots, plus a tropical-themed splash park and a minigolf course for older children.

Excellent family friendly hotel
Just back from a week at club del sol, 2 adults and 2 children age 8 and 10. Hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard. We had a suite which was very comfortable and had lovely views. Lots of activities for the kids (and adults). Entertainment team encouraged participation but weren't too pushy if you didn't fancy it. As the week went on our boys were more confident about getting involved and enjoyed the water polo, table tennis and football competitions. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. We initially planned to book half board but changed to bed and breakfast which we were glad we did. Went for dinner in the hotel one night and it was good with lots of choice. Dinner is from 7 or 7.30 to 9 pm and we went around 8.15. We were about to finish our meal with cheese and biscuits at 9.05 pm but as we went up it was all being cleared away. This would be my main criticism, if dinner is until 9pm then clearing up of the food shouldn't happen until the last guest has left. There is a lovely little restaurant, el patio just at the back of the hotel that we went to a few times and was really nice. Also lots of good restaurants in Puerto pollensa. In terms of entertainment, we really enjoyed it. There were a few tribute acts which were really good and the entertainment team were either supporting these acts or doing their own. Loved the fireball song/dance that happened at the end of every night. Marco, Alejandro and Connor were amazing. We didn't see so much of the girls as I think they did the kids clubs but as a team they were all very entertaining and really made the holiday. We usually like to go to different places every year but I have a feeling we may return here next year.More
What an amazing place
Just returned from an amazing holiday with my wife and 9 year old daughter . This is far the best family friendly hotel we have stayed in Mallorca . Do not be put off that the hotel is slightly removed from the old town in Pollensa . The location is perfect for a relaxed and fun holiday and if you do want to go out at night you're only a 7 euro taxi away or a 30 min walk . The entertainment provided by Alessandro and his team was excellent with fun provided throughout the day . Conor and Marton were particularly fun to be around and their enthusiasm for everything they did was 1st class , a fantastic approach guys and much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was outstanding , I cannot remember a breakfast that catered for so many , be prepared to put weight on !!! The food at night was also of excellent quality and delivered in a relaxed , clean environment. The overall standard and cleanliness of the hotel was also excellent . The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and it all made for a fabulous holiday . My only concern would be if the hotel was all inclusive during peak times , would this change the atmosphere. I can't praise Club Del Sol enough , a wonderful place to have a relaxed but fun holiday , thank you . We shall return ...with friends !!More
Great for the Family!
Superb Family Holiday! We stayed here half board for a week. Family of 4 (2 kids 7&10, 2 adults). The hotel was really top notch with lovely freshly renovated rooms (Junior Suites). Located between Port De Pollensa and Alcudia you are well positioned to explore either with ease. There’s a bus stop just a few mins walk from reception where busses run every 15 mins between Port Pollenca and Alcudia. Taxis are pretty reasonable (fixed tariffs) and if you hire a car (as we did) parking was pretty easy at all the destinations we visited. There isn’t a beach right outside the hotel (though there is watersports including kite surfing) but the stunning beach of Port De Pollenca is only 5 mins away. If you fancy exploring further afield then we visited a number of amazing beaches including Canyamel, Formentor Playa, Port de Pollenca and Playa de Muro. None disappointed, my favourite was Canyamel where hiring a pedalo and snorkelling is a must. The buffet breakfasts and dinners had an excellent variety of fresh and flavoursome food with variations daily – the only problem was what not to eat! On return I would probably consider including breakfast only for some days, not as a criticism of the hotel food (which was outstanding) but to allow us to experience more of the wonderful Mallorcan tapas and restaurants in the evenings! The facilities were great with numerous pools including a splash pool for the kids. There are plenty of activities scheduled but its relaxed enough that you get involved as much or as little as you wish. There’s mini-golf, table tennis, a football court, kids club plus more. The entertainment staff are friendly and hardworking doing a sterling job providing a wide variety of evening entertainment for both kids and adults alike. Overall we had a fantastic stay in Mallorca and would highly recommend this hotel, it’s great quality in a great location!More
Part inclusive really?!
Stayed here as a family of 4 - myself, aunt, my mother and grandmother. A girls holiday trip away. I'll start with the good parts. PROS: Beautiful rooms! Can not complain about the rooms, nicely renovated, comfy beds, nice shower, good tv etc etc etc... Great location. Not to far away from the main town of Port de pollenca. Great transportation. Easy access to the bus stop, right outside the club and can take you anywhere from pollenca to Palma. CONS: 1 let down with the rooms, if your next door neighbours are cooking (especially garlic) you will 100% smell it in your room. But maybe it was us that was unlucky with that situation... Food was bland, nothing special at all, it was like supermarket packet food. Nothing interesting at all. Drinks was ??? Why choose all inclusive when you can only have 3 free cocktails from the menu? If you want a pina colada you better make sure you have enough money to pay for it! Wouldn't rave about the staff. Yes they were friendly enough but they did not help you at all. At 1 point 2 of the dining staff literally shouted at me for taking a tea bag with me to my room for a cup of tea later on, made a big deal out of it and told me not to do that again. I've done that at other hotels with no big fuss and would allow to do it. I don't understand how I wasn't allowed? If I payed for an all inclusive sure enough I could allow to take some tea bags bag to my apartment?! Gosh...I wouldn't write this up if it wasn't how I was dealt with. Horrible. Another with the staff. My aunt asked if she could have lime and lemonade whilst having dinner, waitress said you can only get that from the bar/lounge/entertainment area which is literally a few seconds away, surly that doesn't take much of an effort?! The bar area, was a bar area? Was it an entertainment lounge?! What was it?! If I wanted to have a nice drink there I would have to deal with the child entertainment that was on...you could tell by some people they wanted to leave ASAP when mr entertainment and co came on "stage" The entertainment...my that was something! I can't really say it was bad since we were there before the season fully started and maybe this was like their first time performing or something, but I do hope it has improved! We did have a great laugh at how it was acted though...which was a plus for us I guess... Again with the staff they did not tell you enough with what's going on, we saw that you could hire bikes for the day from the club on our last day there, I'm sure the club could put a sign or someone at staff could tell us...shame. Overall I would say don't book the all inclusive deal with them, it's a pure con. Literally 10% of it was all inclusive and other you would have to pay. Want to get towels for your sun lounge? Be ready to put a €5 deposit on each towel you want! It's the small stuff that gets the marks down... But the club/apartments itself was beautiful, nice, clean, modern really outstanding but the staff, food, drinks, overall experience has let it down. More
