Very enjoyable

This is my second stay here, and both times I've been really happy with the cleanliness of the hotel in general and the well appointed rooms, with free soft drinks in the minibar, and all of the staff are so welcoming and friendly it just helps you relax and enjoy your trip.More

Smart, clean, modern, young, noisy, good location, good value.

This is a nice, boutique hotel in a great location. Most people will choose this hotel because it's new and due to its proximity to Porta Portals. It's a 5 minute stroll downhill to the Port and all its nice bars and restaurants. However it's actual position is also its main problem. It's built right next to the busy slip road onto and off the motorway. Which means it can be very noisy (traffic) around the pool area and even in certain rooms. This hotel itself is contemporary in design and style which means it's a bit minimalist in room decor and the amount of sunbeds!! However, the hotel is very nice, clean, efficient and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Personally I would stay again but would not stay more than for a short break 5 nights max. The reason being is the traffic noise. We could hear it in our rooms with the patio door closed, it occasionally woke me up at 5 in the morning and it was always present when you lay by the pool. We were at the hotel over the Easter weekend and on the Tuesday when everyone went back to work was a constant stream of traffic and noise. In fact it spoils the lovely pool area. The hotel can't do anything about it... you just have to accept it’s there. So don't complain afterwards, you've been warned. Anyway the beach is only a 5 minute stroll downhill so that's where u should go. In fact I think u should book this hotel as a base for your stay. I would choose room only. There are lots of cafes and bars you can have breakfast at, that are cheaper than the hotel and the restaurants and Bars in Porta Portals and Palma are excellent and one of the main reasons for staying in this location. The hotel is clean secure welcoming and very smart. The reception is at the end of the bar... It works (although I'm not sure what it would be like checking In When the bar was busy). The rooms are clean and basic with plenty of storage no tea making facility free wifi, good television not many extras - the shower was excellent, we upgraded to a balcony room which was worth it for the sea view. The room we originally booked was at the back of the hotel and had no access to the outside - I think one of these rooms would've been a little oppressive. One thing they could add is a mirror in the room the only one was in the bathroom. So I would recommend the hotel mainly for its location and price, even allowing for the road noise. I liked it and would do a short stay again.More

best eggs benedict ever

Went here for Sunday brunch. The food was fabulous, several courses and unlimited bellinis or bloody maries. The eggs benedict was truly memorable and the egg cooked to perfection. Outstanding value for 22 euros and set in a very nice hotel with a lovely view over the pool.More

Good hotel, the level of service makes it great

We stayed in this hotel for a very hectic 3 day business trip - perhaps, not your typical vacation in Majorca. The hotel was perfect, well equipped with chic and relaxing decor. But it was the staff that made our stay. They were always willing to help, whether it was bringing an ironing board to the room late at night, answering our many questions, recommending a local restaurant or pouring a glass of wine at the end of a long day. The service was top notch. The Smart car rental included with the deluxe rooms is nice touch.More

Great Hotel, good location

This is a lovely hotel, only twenty minutes by road from the airport. We stayed for a three day break in a standard room. The hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean and although it is a few years old it still smells new. The staff are very friendly and efficient at all times. Breakfast is served from 0800 - 1200 daily, there is a buffet with all the usual continental type foods including fruit and juices, if you choose a hot breakfast it is freshly cooked to order with plenty of items to choose from. A nice change from lukewarm buffet type meals. Good public transport from just outside the hotel and ideally situated for Palma, Palma Nova, Santa Ponca and Magaluf. A ten minute walk to the Marina with plenty of high end shops and restaurants. Lots of other restaurants and bars nearby but don't eat at Delfinos (see my separate report on this). All in all a great hotel which I would gladly stay at again.More
