The OD Port Portals delivers a smart pool scene, and a location next door to the glamorous Puerto Portals Marina.
This place has scooped a spot in the trendy town of Portals Nous. A five-minute walk brings you to a yacht-filled marina, which is lined with boutiques and cocktail bars. A pair of sandy beaches is the same distance away.
Renowned designers Victor Rahola Aguadé and Mayte Matutes have created a high-end contemporary look for the hotel. Rooms feature muted shades of grey, cream and taupe, while the lobby is filled with stylish furniture and quirky sculptures.
Beautiful rooms that feel like you're in an expensive yatch. Not exactly blown away by the exterior or the lobby, but not too shabby either.
There's no concierge on site. At least not when we arrived at 7:30pm. The receptionist was lovely and tried booking us a table at Lila's (see my review) for Saturday night but wasn't able to. However, when I called the restaurant 30 minutes later I was able to get a table right away. More

We have recently had a two week holiday at this QUALITY hotel with QUALITY staff.
We were on B&B tariff and as the excellent breakfast was served until noon we had opportunity to plan a variety of different days
The pool area could have been bigger but sunbeds were available most of the time, but I'm sure that is part of the hotels development.
The entrance at street level did not seem complete.
The port was at most ten minutes away, but there was an abundance of taxis.More

I booked this hotel through Thompsons Holidays, only to find on checking-in that the hotel hadn't received our booking via Thompsons. Luckily, the lovely ladies on reception went the extra mile and sorted out accommodation for myself and my daughter. I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for their help and kindness. The hotel itself was fantastic. Breakfast was good quality, beautifully presented. Our room was lovely, the beds were comfy, I managed the best weeks sleep I have had for a couple of years !! I cannot fault the hotel, and I am looking forward to returning with my sister for a few days. Thank you once again to all the staff who looked after us and made what could have been a bad experience a lovely holiday.More

We have just returned from 10 days at this lovely hotel. I would say the major positive is its very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Restaurant recommendations, bookings, advice - nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are not huge - we had a deluxe with balcony - but well equipped and pleasant with an unusually good amount of storage space.
Breakfast was good, lunch also and not expensive.
On the negative side, the pool area is limited, and there were too few sun beds. Although the hotel request that guests do not reserve sun beds, it became impossible not to. After a complaint, more were quickly provided, although still not quite enough. Also - please change the music by the pool! 10 days of the same CD on a loop is challenging!
The hotel is located on a busy roundabout with some traffic noise, but still has excellent sea views.
This hotel is well positioned for the port and surrounding areas, good value for money and the basis for an excellent holiday.More

Modern boutique style hotel but sunbeds an issue!! Still loved the hotel however ...
Lovely stay and the staff were lovely and very helpful. Bit of an issue with there being no sunbeds available on our first day which was a bit unexpected after our journey, so we headed out to the beach. On the second day we were asked if our beds could be taken from our terrace ( which to be fair we had paid extra for) and these were brought down to the pool for other guests. We didn't mind really as I wanted people not to be without loungers like we had been the previous day. The beds were replaced a day later on our terrace - this was the only niggle about the hotel as there is definitely room in the grounds to accommodate some additional beds and it would stop the early morning panic for folk. Hopefully this may have been addressed though so this shouldn't deter people.... We ate lunch at the hotel one day and this was lovely and breakfast is ample and lovely too, no complaints and staff are attentive and helpful.. Location wise, great as five minutes to the marina and only a few minutes to moods beach club which we like ... Housekeeping was excellent - Probably the best I've experienced so that's why it's worth a mention .... I would stay here again definitely as I love portals but I find there are not loads of great hotels so I am not surprised the OD seems popular. There's nothing not to like and for me its mainly adults staying there and more boutique than kids club, so good for couples.More
