- Countryside location
- Traditional wood-burning stove
- Great for relaxing
There’s a lovely uncluttered feel to this villa. It’s simply designed and furnished, but really relaxed and comfy. Being single-storey, it’s great for families with young children, while its closeness to Pollensa is an added attraction for couples.
The living, dining and kitchen area is open-plan with a mix of golden pine and some traditional dark-wood furniture which contrasts against the white-washed walls and oatmeal-coloured sofa and chairs. There’s a touch of rural authenticity from the woodburner in the corner, too, which makes an attractive feature. The simple, relaxed style continues in the two bedrooms - a double and a twin – which lead off from the living area.
Ca’n Vives is custom-made for summer living and it centres around the generous-sized garden and pool. Wide pine doors open from the living room onto an attractive and spacious covered porch. This leads onto the terrace by the pool and garden.
And when you feel like a change of scene, just a ten minute drive away are the lovely old town of Pollensa and the sheltered sandy beach at pretty Puerto Pollensa. They’re filled with character and atmosphere and, being so close, Ca’n Vives is perfectly placed for getting to know them properly.

Your guide to
Pollensa, Majorca
"Set between the hills of El Calvari and Puig de Pollensa, the historic town of Pollensa is an excellent base for exploring northern Majorca."
Pollensa is one of the most memorable places in
Majorca. Partly, this is thanks to the spectacular landscape around it, where the land and sea meet at the end of the mighty mountain range. It is also, however, due to its architecture, festivals, culture and unmistakeable local atmosphere. At the centre of this charming town is the Plaza Major. With its cafés and restaurants, the square is the soul of the town, especially on Sunday mornings during the weekly market. Beyond it are narrow medieval streets, Baroque churches, Gothic chapels and even a Roman bridge. Climb the 365 stone steps to the chapel atop El Calvari and you’ll be rewarded with splendid views of the northernmost tip of the island. Survive the longer journey to the 18th century hermitage on top of Puig de Maria and you can stay the night. Take the short trip to the coast and the delights of the quiet, sheltered resort of
Puerto Pollensa await.
