With peaceful gardens and fabulous countryside views, this is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of back home.
If you’ve come here with relaxation in mind, you’ve come to the right place. Villa Perello’s set on a secluded piece of farmland surrounded by manicured gardens and fabulous country views. It’s the perfect rural escape.

Whitewashed walls offer a taste of tradition. Plenty of light spills in through the windows. The living room’s a picture of comfort, with curl-up-on sofas, a cosy fireplace, and a TV and DVD player for entertainment. And if you feel like a home cooked meal, there’s a fully-equipped kitchen.

Once you’ve had a gander inside, throw open the patio doors and see what’s outside. The first thing to seduce you will be the hefty pool. Whether you’re swimming a few lengths or simply kicking back on the sunbeds, this is the place to really chill out. On top of that, there’s also a built-in barbecue for al fresco feasts in the sun.

So if you’re looking to escape the honking car horns, pinging e-mail boxes and your hectic life back home, this place is the brick-built antidote.

Your guide to Pollensa, Majorca

"Set between the hills of El Calvari and Puig de Pollensa, the historic town of Pollensa is an excellent base for exploring northern Majorca."

Pollensa is one of the most memorable places in Majorca. Partly, this is thanks to the spectacular landscape around it, where the land and sea meet at the end of the mighty mountain range. It is also, however, due to its architecture, festivals, culture and unmistakeable local atmosphere. At the centre of this charming town is the Plaza Major. With its cafés and restaurants, the square is the soul of the town, especially on Sunday mornings during the weekly market. Beyond it are narrow medieval streets, Baroque churches, Gothic chapels and even a Roman bridge. Climb the 365 stone steps to the chapel atop El Calvari and you’ll be rewarded with splendid views of the northernmost tip of the island. Survive the longer journey to the 18th century hermitage on top of Puig de Maria and you can stay the night. Take the short trip to the coast and the delights of the quiet, sheltered resort of Puerto Pollensa await.
