The Mimosa Park Hotel has modern interiors and a good-sized, good-looking pool. As for the cherry on top, the centre-of-town location brings British-style bars and clubs within easy reach. And Palma Nova's beach is just a few minutes' walk away.
The Mimosa Park hotel has everything close by. Palma Nova Beach is just a few minutes’ walk away, and you can be at the main hub of clubs and bars in 5. Plus, the superclubs in Magaluf are a 20-minute walk with several bars and pubs along the way.
Inside, things are nice and smart. The spacious lobby, for example, has marble-effect floors and long, low-backed sofas. And bedrooms have a contemporary feel, with white walls and floors, pale-wood furniture and block-coloured bedding.
Outside, the pool is pretty big, and has an island sprouting with palms in the middle. You’ll find a pool bar just to one side, too. There’s also a mini-pool for children with a waterfall to splash about under. The whole area is overlooked by a high-ceilinged, conservatory-style buffet restaurant.
Went to this hotel with my 2 young kids. There is no entertainment for kids and very limited entertainment for adults. The team consisted of 3 guys and 1 girls. The Scottish guy who seemed to be in charge was very enthusiastic and what you'd expect however, the other 3 need new jobs. They were so miserable and if they smiled I am sure it was wind.
Food was good with a selection for the kids too. Pool was fine with the usual scramble for beds.
My big bug bear were the lifts, being on a top floor room and having to wait 15 minutes for a lift- when they did work is ridiculous. This has been mentioned numerous times on TA however, the management have obviously ignored. We probably lost a day of our hols waiting on lifts.
We were afforded a late check out on departure but had to pay 35 euro for this. The hotel was all inc but charged for the use of irons, hair dryers etc. The band system to identify you as AI is a joke. It has a bar code that doesn't work so you have to limbo under the bars to enter the area. Again, this has been mentioned numerous times here but ignored by the management.WiFi doesn't work so don't bother with that.
Overall, it was rather disappointing all round, my kids have said they wouldn't go back, I'd second that.More

Great hotel, great price, great holiday
We got this hotel all inclusive for a week for £320. Thought the hotel was great, food always hot and plenty of choice. Location spot on, close to beaches and nightlife. We had a few noisy scottish neighbours but that was out of the hotel's control - we were moved without any bother so eradicated that problem quite quickly. All in all probably the best hotel I've stayed in for the money, really thought the food choice was good. Ability to fill up your own drinks whenever you wanted was also great. Definitely recommend.More

Just home from a great holiday at Mimosa Park Hotel
After reading the negative reviews over recent times we went on holiday fearing the worst.how wrong we were.the hotel to be fair is a bit dated but the main thing was extremely clean.maids did a great job with clean towels daily and room cleaned every day.the food was excellent.themed nights and plenty of choice.food was certainly 4star quality.staff in the restaurant and around the hotel were always friendly.the dreaded lifts were hardly a problem to us either and we were on the 7th.floor!! At peak times of course there was a wait, but you would expect that.even the Self service drinks system at the pool bar caused us no problem at all.Must give the entertainment team of Jazzie,Mikey,Aimee and especially Lee a special mention.they made the holiday.summing up please don't take too much notice of the negative comments about this hotel.remember it's a 3star holiday not 5star!! Went back for two weeks, 2nd Sept - 16th.
Food was better this time, three carvery's a week, plenty of decent choices.
Stayed half board this time as we went out every night. Rooms are looking a little tired but standard of cleaning was good.
Overall, no complaints, worth it for what we paid.More
