Mimosa Park Hotel

The Mimosa Park Hotel has modern interiors and a good-sized, good-looking pool. As for the cherry on top, the centre-of-town location brings British-style bars and clubs within easy reach. And Palma Nova's beach is just a few minutes' walk away.

The Mimosa Park hotel has everything close by. Palma Nova Beach is just a few minutes’ walk away, and you can be at the main hub of clubs and bars in 5. Plus, the superclubs in Magaluf are a 20-minute walk with several bars and pubs along the way.

Inside, things are nice and smart. The spacious lobby, for example, has marble-effect floors and long, low-backed sofas. And bedrooms have a contemporary feel, with white walls and floors, pale-wood furniture and block-coloured bedding.

Outside, the pool is pretty big, and has an island sprouting with palms in the middle. You’ll find a pool bar just to one side, too. There’s also a mini-pool for children with a waterfall to splash about under. The whole area is overlooked by a high-ceilinged, conservatory-style buffet restaurant.

Lovely holiday average hotel

Having just got back from a lovely holiday I felt that the hotel was ok and what we paid for. Wi-Fi isn't free and doesn't connect properly, no hairdryer in the room although you can hire one again at a cost and the staff weren't exactly over-friendly or helpful. Being a group of 8 girls ranging from 19-25 we were stared at a lot. 1 or 2 things went missing from 2 of the girls' hotel rooms and were never returned and on the last day of our holiday my phone was stolen whilst I was in the communal shower rooms downstairs. We had checked out of our room in the morning and needed to shower before we went to the airport on the evening. Reception didn't seem interested nor did they want to help and when asked if we could view CCTV we were told they only have it in reception. Our rooms were clean although we never received fresh towels. Air con didn't work in some of the rooms. We were on the 9th floor (top floor) and the lifts were very slow and not trustworthy. Food was average and not a massive choice but there was something you could at least eat to satisfy the hunger. Help yourself drinks were ok. Beach was nearby and good walking distance to shops etc. Would go back to Palma Nova again but wouldn't stay in this hotel again.More

Nice Hotel, great location, friendly staff.. Sept 2014

We went here with a group of friends for a 4 day break, first of all we were lucky with weather 33 degrees on average so lovely and hot, great pool , lots of sunbeds if you get down by 9am.. Lots of shady places too.. Music by the pool and a few games ie volley ball , darts water aerobics.. Food... Lots of salad choices , then selection of hams. Hot food chips ,pasta ,meat in gravy , some traditional foods ie shepherds pie , chilli con carne... Choice of potatoes..small choice for children .puddings a choice of about 8 puddings from ice cream , apple pie, mouse, jelly pastry puddings. Fruit, all the usual melon, pineapple nectarines, etc .. Rooms .. The rooms are basic but beds were comfortable , with bath and shower, air con worked. We were at the back of hotel room. 409 305 309 all quiet rooms.. All inclusive wrist bands , scan your wrist to get a drink it's ok I don't know wht all the fuss is about , once in the area help yourself to hot and cold drinks , wine beer spirits lots of ice.. Here you can also get toasties and hotdogs.. The lifts are ok too, I read they are slow, no they are fine ! Hotel staff are the best , happy , helpful just the best !!!! nothing was too much trouble... So a great hotel for friends couples family , its a 3 star but the best 3 star we have stayed in... Lots of shops nearby , beautiful beach.. Great to but shoes and handbags .....! Magalluf is 20 min walk if you want to see it .. Must recommend the bar on the beach where we would sit and chill at night ..wow ! You can't miss it as its the only one.!! Would I go back here to the Mamossa park ....yes .More

tired hotel but great location

It was our first time in Palma Nova and we loved it. We had the most incredible weather, unusually hot for the time of year, according to the locals. The location of this hotel is great as its just out of the way of the busy end and close enough to walk to magaluf. On arrival we were met by Rafa who was really great. Yep the rooms are very outdated,( ladies no hairdryer but you can hire one at reception). they are clean enough but the walls are very very thin, so if your having some cheeky time bear in mind we can hear EVERYTHING lol!!. The shower is great, very powerful which was good. The lifts are very slow and small, If you are waiting for the lifts, have a look round the other side, theres one there that doesn't get as busy (probably will now though!) the all inclusive option has a turnstile, my first thought was that this idea has probably put a lot of people out of work, you lose that banter which you get with the bar staff, however by the end of the week I can see how this can work, no queueing to be served etc, just watch out for the dam wasps surrounding the tango pump. sunbeds............ there are 3 types of sun beds here, the good ones which are comfortable with the adjustable head bit, the ones without the adjustable head bit, with blue fabric, and the plastic white one with adjustable head. We didn't get a good sun bed all week, but then we didn't get up early enough. there are plenty of beds but not flipping room to put them. so its a tight squeeze but do-able. Food, it appeared to alternate between average day and excellent day. excellent day a huge joint of beef, king prawns salmon pate, etc brilliant and then next day would be average, The only bad thing is the dining area doesn't have air con, which made eating a bit uncomfortable. I can recommend Ted's bar, which is just down the hill for Sunday lunch. All home made and spot on, as were their breakfasts, a little expensive but proper bacon and lovely runny eggs, well worth it. I can also recommend café royal, run by a guy called Sergio, Top fella and a nice pint with the football on etc. The bus stop is opposite the spar( next to banana Joes) which takes you to palma and the cathedral, well worth a visit. The beach in palma nova is ok but the one at magaluf is better. Overall i enjoyed our stay here, so much so that we are looking to book again next year. Its a basic hotel, for a basic price, but in comparison to other hotels around, its a bargain.More

great!!!!

just returning back to Newcastle from a week here . reception and cleaning staff nicely spoken and friendly! Rooms as standard and clean which the cleaner visited us everyday to clean unless we put the sign which hangs on your saying otherwise. We were the 3rd floor as i requested this via email before hand and much choice there was for us and it had been avaible. we were facing the sea nice a quiet. one thing i would say though at first i thought the walls were thin but i reslise through the bathroom the noise from the next door of people travels through so you could here word 4 every word! Food great , as me being a northerner loved it! Different selections of salads, fruits, mains an desserts and my favourite was spanish night as they do themed nights there too! you do get the normal stuff like chips but i never bothered as when i go on holiday i like trying new things an can eat those if i wish here. i was al inculsive. another thing is a part from water an wine from a tap drinks like coke an beer etc you cant get inside, make sure you get it from the outside bring it in with you. catering staff excellent could take my hat off to them always on the ball for replemishment, surprised they could ss some fellow holiday makers made it look like feeding time at the zoo! there were people moaning a whinging what was on offer an i thought you get this standard for what you pay for otherwise go an pay more for more! Lifts can take lo g but not long as people saying they must be unpatient! pro lem is there are 3 lifts some going up an down or on every floor an no1 there bcoz they left! we got in one day in the to be be aggonrantly told by an older passenger we could walk when goin up to 3rd floor well of course i snapped back because it doesnt mean hes not old got walking stick or wheel chair hes not disabled! He gpt problems an pains with his legs an i hav bad pain with my kidney stones thsy vause chronic back pain that can flare up anytime. so i say this to any those who like to judge before opening ya mouth think first as oys the small minded with silly comments i think an holiday makers you are holiday with that also make the holiday count for what it is too not just the hotel! Dont get me wrong met some great an lovely people unfornately their rude argonat like every where i suppose knocking around may be! Sunbeds plenty even when busy even at 12pm an you get the silly buggers coming out 7am these arent the young ones either doing it again surprisingly. Same with thr bar opening 10am for beer some people were on it from then all day every day which is great if thats what you want not like this woman who was on it thpugh an then bedn rude to other holiday makers taking and making snide comments lkme your not their about what your eating or wearing etc which on my first day here got then realised drink had probsbly something yo do with that as she was always first at the bar. hope she reads this as should t intimdate other guests. even poor amy the entertainer got a taste of this womans rudeness. Amy is an entertainer by the way lovely like the others! would come back 100 per cent for excellent service from all the staff, hotel location great for what we wanted. More

G&G Return

We returned to Mimosa park because we like it ,Forget the duff reviews they are posted mainly by people that expect a 5 * rating for the price of 3* prices.the best room to get is facing the sea ,mainly for the view but also for watching the people at 7 am trundle out to set up the sunbeds. Its a laugh. The lifts are now a bit better. The staff as we noted before are great, the rooms have changed a bit ,all seem to have a third bed folded up against the wall. It is still a good base to see all the beaches and only a 4 euro cab ride from Magaluff, which we always go to. This time was for Katmando, which we visited 3 times. You will understand if you try it.The food is good always a varied menu and they have theme nights,Mexican,Chinese,Indian. But they seem to cater for people from up north who seem to not like spicy food,so its a bit bland,no offence meant.More
