This beachside hotel comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Soft drinks, beer, wine and water with meals and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks 10.00-24.00. Plus 30% bar discount on select snacks, branded wines and cava and 50% discount on branded international drinks.
Afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits, after dinner snacks and kids' ice-cream in the restaurant.
Just back from a weeks stay. Hotel in a lovely location - in between two nice beaches and central for shops and bars. Reception staff efficient and helpful. Bar staff a tad miserable even when you smile and try and have a wee chat with them. Pool side a bit jammed up but not too bad as you can
enjoy the beach on the doorstep. We had a room on the 7th floor which was bright with lovely view
over the beach. Maids work very hard and room kept clean daily.
Our let down was the choice and standard of food. We are not hard to please but pork loin at almost every meal, chicken with bones and just beige food with no real effort. Must say desserts were good and breakfasts fine. Had a chat with a couple who felt the meals when they arrived to be very good then after a few days the standard changed? Maybe we were just unlucky ?
Toilets next to lounge pretty bad by the end of an evening. Entertainment ok if you like bingo and
are over 70. Most of the guests were fairly elderly and we are in our early fifties!
In all a nice hotel, but would return to Palma Nova but sadly would give Santa Lucia a miss.More
You wont be dissapointed!!
I first visited the Santa Lucia many years ago with my parents and really enjoyed the experience, my Children also enjoyed holidays there when growing up. I travelled there again in September with my new Husband and we returned on the Friday and he re booked on the Saturday for the following year!! that tells you everything.
Fantastic friendly staff who are more than happy to help, the cleanliness is second to none and situated in the perfect location.
Well done Santa Lucia, give yourselves a pat on the back. See you next year :-)More
Lovely Hotel, Great location
Just back from holiday to Palmanova and Santa Lucia Hotel. We booked with Thomson Holidays and they were great. Their reps are hard working and helpful with whatever you ask of them. Quick check-in and friendly welcome. We must give a mention to Pepe on reception- he was very nice. We were on 7th Floor and room was lovely, bright and enough space. Balcony view was great - beach and bay with boats and yachts to look at. We went half-board and breakfast and dinner was lovely, as was the wine! Plenty of food to choose from, and the staff were so helpful and always gave us a welcome. Rosi in dining room was so nice to us as was the gentleman at the entrance who ticked our room number, sorry I can't remember his name, maybe Toni! We had a good laugh at the people who find it necessary to get up early to put towels on sunbeds - for goodness sake you're on holiday - forget the rush, and oh, stop complaining about the lifts, just relax, the lift will come - or go down the stairs, the exercise will do you good if you're gonna be lazing around the pool all day!! We didn't use the bar during our stay so can't comment on that. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday and staff are always on hand to recommend other places of interest to visit on the island to enhance your stay.
We are beach people, and the beaches were lovely, two sun beds and a parasol were 13.50euro per day.
Santa Lucia Hotel is so handy to everything, beach, shops, restaurants, entertainment, just go out the door and you have it all on either side. It was lovely at night also, along the promanade which we were told goes on and on for 21km!! Unfortunately, after three days, the thunderstorm came, now that lightening was something else!! WOW! Retreat to your balcony and watch!!
Book your next holiday now with Thomson to the Hotel Santa Lucia in Palmanova and you won't regret it.More

Didn't get what we had booked
The hotel is lovely, situated right on the beach with views to die for.We were on the 7th floor BUT, we had booked and paid for a Superior room WITH A WALK IN SHOWER as we are disabled, and cannot get in or out of a bath This was our first priority, I checked this before confirming the booking.PLUS I checked again when we received the confirmation, as that had on it Private bath + shower, I was told yet again after checking with the holiday company that we booked with and again was told " Yes you have a walk in shower " . On arrival after booking in we went up to our room, only to find a 3/4 size bath with a shower up one end that we could NOT reach from the floor. The bath was NOT a flat bottom bath but a rounded shape. It had grab rails for disabled, BUT no way would a disabled person be able to get in or out of that bath without slipping. My husband tried it, but I did however put a wet towel in the bottom, as no bath mat so that he wouldn't slip. He held on to the grab rail but his foot slipped. Needless to say we decided NOT to use the bath as it was an accident waiting to happen. We went down to reception and complained about the non existent walk in shower, only to be told that NONE of the Superior rooms had a walk in shower,I asked if any rooms had them only to be told that they were on the first floor, they were standard rooms, but they could not give authority for us to move rooms. nor could Thomson, but they would have to get permission from the owner of the hotel. Needless to say we decided to stay where we were as we would have lost the view that we had with a Superior room, and the lower floor looked out on to a wall. Suffice to say we had 2 weeks having to have strip down washes. Having said all that the entertainment was total rubbish.Only one outdoor pool, not really big enough for the size of the hotel. Only one pool table , no games room, the pool table being used by the entertainment staff to play cards on with onlookers, and to use for shove halfpenny. The dart board wobbled when you threw a dart on to it and the darts that they used were kids darts with the green plastic feathers. We didn't bother with the evening entertainment as several people told us it was "total rubbish " and not worth staying up for.The food was excellent, and the Thomson Reps were a credit to Thomson, they worked damn hard and long hours but always had a smile and time for a chat, which didn't go as far as the snack bar staff at the hotel never seen any people so miserable, PLUS even on ALL INCLUSIVE you had to pay half price for 103 brandy which is a Spanish brandy , PLUS you also had to pay for snacks although you got a 30% discount. NOT what I would call All inclusive.we stayed at another hotel in May and the snack bar ONLY charged during the restaurant times the rest of the time they were free. Needless to say we will be going back to the hotel that we had in May, as it had everything, so much to do all day but NOT the Santa Lucia.More
