This beachside hotel comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Soft drinks, beer, wine and water with meals and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks 10.00-24.00. Plus 30% bar discount on select snacks, branded wines and cava and 50% discount on branded international drinks.
Afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits, after dinner snacks and kids' ice-cream in the restaurant.
My husband and I returned from a week holiday here for our honeymoon. The hotel is stunning, very clean and the food is lovely. Downside is the staff they are very rude. Also the hotel is full of older people, we were probably the youngest there and made us uncomfortable at some points. The entertainment was suitable for older people and as a result we spent a lot of nights out not a good thing when we already paid for all inclusive.More
My Wife and I returned on 8 Oct after an 11 night stay at this Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the Staff were really friendly and very helpful. I had read that the food was cold - surely Salad items always are, we found the Food was of a good standard and there was a lot of choice. The Hotel is set in a great location very near a lovely Beach. The area is very very flat. We will definitely be returning.More

Great Hotel, on our First Visit.
Our impression of this hotel, was pleasant surprise. Hotel reception helpful and pleasant, the room was a bit dated but lovely and clean, with a lovely view. What a vista, lovely sea view with
people on the beach and boats sailing. The restaurant had very nice food and good choice, and very helpful staff, the breakfast and Dinners were excellent.
Returned home last night after 2 weeks, we had fantastic weather, and would book this hotel again.
We made great friends and had such a laugh, the entertainment had good acts and some not so good, but all in all it was cosy jolly and we had a good time. Don't be put off by reviews as we found out, it is a lovely friendly place. Down side was that it was all closing down, the bars etc as it was the end of the season. I will book for last week in September and the 1st week in October.
Thomson reps very good, and Mathew and the young lady who called the Bingo in the lounge were both great. It was great to get the 104 to Palma and we visited other places. Ask for a high floor and if you area sun baby, on the pool side. We preferred a non sun view.
Well done to Santa Lucia, the food was lovely and I am a picky person. No Complaints.More

Returned on the 8th Oct 2014 and must say it is a fantastic location, with the beach only a stones throw away, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants close by, we had contemplated hiring a car for the week but glad we didn't, the bus service is great and we did far more and had a laugh just
using the bus. Hotel 30 mins from the airport which was great.
The hotel itself was good, bar staff, reception and Thomson reps were all great and we had no
complaints with anyone whatsoever.
Like mentioned many times there was a small issue with the towels around the pool but we
were lucky as we always seemed to find two sunbeds, if you want one with an umbrella then
you would need to be up at the crack of dawn, however you can hire one from the shop within
the hotel where we also hired a kettle and mugs (haven't done that in years)
We have not travelled to Spain for some time but was shocked when there were no towels provided for the pool so we had to buy some (not a problem just haven't had to do this for years),
also shocked to find that there was no tea and coffee facilities, we had to hire the fridge and the safe.
There is an indoor pool which nobody appeared to use but be warned the decking around this pool is dreadful and an accident waiting to happen, hopefully this will be attended to when the
hotel shuts for the winter as it spoils what could be a nice area should the weather be poor.
We were on the third floor and the rooms are very very dated, fab views but in need of a major
update, we used the stairs most of the time as mentioned on many reviews there are only three lifts and they are painfully slow.
Entertainment was ok, we seen a few reasonably good shows with bingo and a quiz first, we
tended to go out most evenings and call back in for a drink, most of the entertainment is finished
by 11.30pm so no partying into the early hours but there is a small bar just off the foyer which
stays open a little later.
We are in our early fifties, but be warned we were nearly the youngest there and since we have
been back and spoken to people that have also stayed here this is not just the time of year, it appears that this is a hotel that people of the older generation really like, returning year after year.
On our return I checked our booking and realised that we had paid for a superior room (rooms that have been recently refurbished) but had been given a normal room, hence the charges for everything. This is now being taken up with the travel agent.
The food was OK, nothing to rave about but nothing to really complain about, we could usually find something that we liked but it was just OK. My only real criticism is the cost of the water in the restaurant 1.90 Euros for a small bottle.
All said we did have a lovely time, would we return, not sure about that, it was just lacking a bit of luxury.More
