Hotel Aqua Beach

This good-looking hotel is dressed in blue and white, and comes with a pool and tapas bar. It’s just over the road from Palma Nova Beach, too.

The Aqua Beach has just had a makeover, so it has a contemporary feel. Sleek white bedrooms are accessorised with splashes of aqua – a nod to the hotel’s name.

The hotel is set next to Palma Nova’s huge sandy beach, so you’re just seconds from the Mediterranean Sea. The restaurants and bars in the town centre are only a few minutes’ walk away, too.

Would come back ok

No problems here for us Lovely room with beach view and only a walk across the road to the beach, very convenient. Shower good plenty of hot water and towels etc. Nice balcony with cane furniture. Breakfasts good selection of cereals, fruit and cooked items, bacon, sausages etc. Would bring a travel kettle next time for coffee in the room. Rooms well cleaned, staff all friendly. manual and Louis in the bar very helpful and entertaining. Anna in the dining room a real star. All in all very happy and would come back here.More

Agua Beach - Excellent

My wife and I recently stayed at the Agua Beach Hotel for 3 nights half board.
This is the first time we have stayed at the hotel and the hotel is excellent. The location of the hotel is great just over the road from the beach and in the center of Palma Nova. We had a great few days and found the hotel to be very relaxing and a great base to wander around Palma Nova, go to the beach, take a bus into Palma or explore the Island. The hotel has recently been renovated and it looks great. Our room on the 5th floor was very comfortable with a wonderful sea view. The staff were excellent – always helpful and attentive and in particular Manuel the Hotel Manager who was always there to greet and help us at reception and Ana who looked after us so well in the restaurant. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good with plenty of choice each day. Overall, we would highly recommend the hotel and look forward to our next stay.More

Noisy place with rude front manager

I stayed in this hotel from 17 to 24 September. Repaired with cheap plastic -Laminate floors, plastic furniture, polyester blankets and pillows that cause constant sweating. The bathroom is narrow and small and open the shower and all over the floor wet when used. The shower has low pressure almost impossible to take a bath person. Periodically from the bathroom and the balcony door appeared ants. Lobby floor no ventilation and constant smell of strong chemicals that are cleaned using laminated floors ... The front desk staff was extremely rude. I paid for a room with sea view, sat me in a room for disabled people, with only one bed and no furniture. Accordingly, the view was directly into a wall and a small corner of the street outside the hotel and a private beach. Asked to be moved, even in a room without a sea view, but on a higher floor and was called by "Manager with" a naughty word in Spanish. Very noisy place. Never stay in this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.More

Hotel is fine

I stayed here with some friends on a tennis holiday in October. The hotel is recently renovated in a modern style and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ample although when they say it finishes at 10am they mean it, as it is all cleared away by 10.10! Free parking is nearby. Some criticisms however: one towel a day is not enough when there is nowhere to hang it to dry. One tube of shower gel is not enough for 4 days either (suggest guests bring their own) and one of my friends did not have their room made up on one of the days we were there. The walls are also a little thin so bring some earplugs.More

Lovely hotel, helpful manager

On arrival I was disappointed to learn that I could not be allocated the room I had booked, as there had been a plumbing problem during the night & some rooms were damaged. I was given a room for the night in the annex, which had a seaview of sorts but mainly looked into a karaoke bar, room was shabby but clean. The Manager had sought me out to apologise & assured me I would get the room I had booked the following day. Well I was not disappointed, I was allocated what for me was probably the best room in the house, high floor, double with balcony on the corner nearest the beach, I could not have asked for better. The room was clean fresh & bright, as was the rest of the hotel. Food was good at both breakfast & in the evening with some interesting choices. As on this occasion I was travelling on my own, I especially wanted a hotel I felt safe & comfortable in, this hotel fitted the bill, it was smaller than a lot of other resort hotels, quiet & the staff were friendly. Very comfortable for a solo traveller. Manager was very helpful over initial room allocation & gave me some extras as compensation, I was very pleased with the manner in which the difficulty was handled. Mind you I did not really like Palma Nova, would prefer other parts of the island, but that's personal choiceMore
