This beachside hotel is getting a fresh new look for summer 2018, it comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar*.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.

Not what you think your getting
This hotel is very poor for a 4* hotel I've stayed at 3* better the only plus for this hotel is its location this is a very honest review we got here at about 8 pm checkin was pretty much straight forward our room was on the 4th floor as soon as we got In The room I thought god very basic for a 4* we payed £800 for a long weekend Friday to Monday so we just put our cases in and went down for tea didn't think much of the choice on offer we went back to our room thought we'd get some sleep so we could be up and ready to explore the island we got into bed and it made a noise so I had a look it was like a camp bed and the cover was a old curtain the carpets was all stained photos to follow I spoke to a few guests and they said the same the food was not good and they have been a few timesMore

Great hotel in a fantastic location .Rooms clean and maid service everyday . Could do with more plug sockets ,hairdryer very slow .Food was good something to suit every body . entertainment when I was there was poor we had one good singer all week .All in all a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff .just thought I would mention that even to get a sun lounger on the beach we had to get up early and put towels on them More

Better than 'Average', maybe not quite 'Very Good'. Maybe a 3.5! Hotel location and views possibly as good as you could get in Palmanova. Right on the golden beach and blue waters. Unfortunate blip on arrival was we were given a twin room and not double as paid for. Reception initially said nothing they could do as hotel was full. At first we accepted it but that didn't sit well so went back and they said the best they could offer was to move us in two days time. So that's what we did. Must mention in both rooms though, the beds were very basic and essentially camp beds with mattresses. Also thought charging for a safe is a little old fashioned and at a considerable cost. We found the hotel to be very tidy and staff friendly. The food was average to good as far as buffets go but we were not expecting it to be any better. As continuously mentioned, the pool sunbeds are a challenge although you come to expect it with most resort hotels now. I did actually think restricting access until 08:00 was a little better than the usual free-for-all as it stops early morning 'hoggers' and gives more people a better chance of getting one. Entertainment was ok the nights we caught any of it. But felt the strict midnight bar closure was a little early. Although if demand was there, they would open the 'Cocktail Bar' until 02:00 but with no music or atmosphere, this really was not to our taste or of the taste of the many people that walked in and straight back out. In summary, decent value for money based on great location, tidy hotel, ok food. If ever back in Palmanova we would not rule out staying again dependant on options at the time.More
Very good hotel
Just returned from a one week holiday here as a a party of 5. There has been a lot of unjustified negativity in other reviews which I would say to ignore. Pros -Wide selection of foods on offer for all 3 meals, including fish, poultry, pasta, salads, rice. Mostly to a good quality standard. -Drinks on AI package are very good. Lots of selection of spirits with large measures given. -Staff are polite and courteous. Staff on reception are very welcoming. -Cleaning staff friendly and always done a good job -Excellent location. 5 mins from Palma nova bars and 10 mins from magaluf strip. Cons -A room for 3 people is quite small and feels cramped. More sockets needed in room -Safe was expensive for a week. -Impossible to get sun bed poolside without waking up very early (although on terrace would be fine). On balance this hotel is definitely worth a visit and with the planned improvements for next year and change to Thompson gold I can see many of the flaws being addressed.More
