This beachside hotel comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.

Just returned (22nd)after a weeks holiday, only wish it could have been longer. Firstly the hotel is in such a fantastic position, the rooms spotlessly clean, brilliant bath/shower. Pool view rooms get most sun but views from either side are stunning . Had to rent a kettle and mugs from on site shop. 98% of staff were superb , most helpful, friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding with an excellent range with choices for breakfast almost everything you could wish for. We stayed half board so didn't experience all inc snacks. Dinner again could not be faulted with such such a variety , my only negative would be that it was not quite as hot as I would like, again a good variety of desserts including some specifically for diabetics. Evening entertainment lacking ( ok if you like quizzes and bingo) maybe seasonal. However very impressed and eager to book again , well recommended.More
Best food I've had on holiday
First of all it's â¬42 to hire the room safe! For a solo traveller that's not the start to my holiday I was hoping for. Over 40 euros out of my budget straight away. â¬10 was returned at check out when I returned the key. However, it's still a ridiculous amount to pay for a safe. The other thing that annoyed me was only one side of the hotel gets the sun. If you get a room on the pool side you also get the sun most of the day. The other sides gets no sun whatsoever. You do get a beach/ ocean view but you're in the shade. Hotel is nice and in a great location. Loads of local bars and restaurants close by as well as shops directly across the road. Although rooms are painted in a horrible yellow-vanilla colour and carpeted. Rooms are basic and clean. Beds are comfortable. Maids were in every day. Balcony has a small table with two chairs as well as a clothes liner attached to the wall. Reception area is spotless. Staff were friendly and approachable. I didn't attend any hotel entertainment evenings so I cannot comment on the standard. However, I heard other guests saying it wasn't up to much. The pool area is far too crowded with sun beds too close together and the pool itself is very small considering the size of the hotel. However, there is a rooftop sun lounger area one level up from the pool. It's quiet and peaceful and sunbeds we're always available, although I can imagine this area being very busy during peak season. This area was the main reason I booked the hotel. I enjoy lying in the sun away from the noisy pool area. However, the beach is only several steps outside the front door. I've never stayed in a hotel so close to the beach. It was great! The rooftop area also looks directly onto the beach and the pool. Food was very good and plentiful. There was always several meats on special and lots of sides to choose from. Food was warm and cooked well. Breakfast was also good. Sausages, beans, bacon, eggs (scrambled, fried and boiled), tomatoes and toast as well as a selection of porridge and cereals and fruits and yoghurts. Overall, a very high 3-star hotel, pushing 4 stars. However, the issue with the room safe really annoyed me. Would I stay here again? Probably - due to its location and the reliability of the food.More
I stayed at this hotel last week. We decided to go to beach and when I returned to the hotel room the maids had been in and cleaned the room, there had also been â¬180 taken out of my wallet along with £15.More
Another Amazing Stay! 23nights instead of 11!
Well we have arrived back from 23 nights at this amazing hotel, we should have only gone for 11nights, but on the night before we was due to fly home, our 4 year old daughter had a nasty seizure in the bedroom, and we needed urgent medical treatment, I rushed to reception and Karen and the other lady from reception was on it, mum brought our daughter down to reception and both reception girls came out to help, and with Karen who spoke both languages was able to give the correct details to the emergency team, she was rushed to hospital and was in for 4 nights, she made a full recovery, but due to our insurance company being completely useless, they didn't sort flights out straight away and we stayed until today, 22/04/2017. Apart from that little hiccup, we originally went with 2 family members and little boy, they had never been to the island or hotel before and they didn't want to leave, they loved it too, firstly I must say all the staff on reception went far and beyond the call of duty to help us out, sorting our accomadation, arranging wheelchair taxis and many other things, you were all great! and so grateful for all your help (Thankyou) big mention to Miguel who just loves our daughter and remembered her from Last year! he says he is her Spanish granddad :) and the other gentleman who was at the desk at the restaurant what a Gentleman :) also a big mention to Inma the chef, also fell in love with our little one and us, she is a credit to your hotel! the fabulous life guard that was on during the week (mon-Fri) again always made time to talk to us and fuss over our little girl, and our fantastic room maid (room 134) always spotless and always left extra towels for us and asked after our daughter and made a fuss when she saw her :) also the entertainment guys, Matt and Mart, our daughter loved dancing everynight in her wheelchair to the mini disco, we also enjoyed the quiz and bingo :) I appreciate it was low season and the live entertainment was only 3 nights per week and this was stressed each evening, I did feel sorry for the guys as they had serious issues with the sound system and microphone, I think an upgrade is needed and needed badly, but the entertainment staff plodded on, the entertainment during the day was good, although I only played darts twice, but there was always something going on! but a new dartboard and stand and new darts is required! maybe you could buy one from the price you charge for the hire of the fridge and safe! in which I heard quite a few guests complain of the prices for these services. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel or the staff your all fantastic! also what a great mix of guests we had the pleasure of chatting to, although early on in the stay, there was some unruly kids in the indoor pool, jumping in and using water guns when there was babies in the pool and children less mobile than them! maybe the parents should keep a beter eye on them, but when the lifeguard was on which I mentioned previously, she was the first to tell them to stop it! the last thing I wanted to mention was the big rumours circulating the hotel that your going to be adults only from May 2018, from a family who stay with you regularly, I think this will be a massive mistake, this hotel works as a family hotel, and I think you will be shooting yourself in the foot by making this an all adult only hotel. we as a family for sure will be very sad to see these changes, so if the rumours are true, I would seriously reconsider these actions. Apart from that, thankyou to everyone who helped our family, we miss you already and hopefully see you again in the summer :)More

Brilliant stay with thanks to all the wonderful staff
My family and I stayed at the Globales Santa Lucia a week or so ago. I cannot help but think, after, reading some negative reviews, that I must have been staying at a different hotel!! I found the hotelâs location perfect, the facilities excellent and the staff lovely. As we did not expect entertainment for the children, it was an added bonus to find Mart and Matthew on hand who took charge of my two grandchildren aged 4 years and 6 years, marvelous job lads thank you. The food was buffet style and plentiful constantly topped up by the brilliant restaurant staff. On a negative note (maybe a bit nit-picky) perhaps a bit more international cuisine however any negative comments are far outweighed by the hotelâs positive features. If one wants more entertainment then maybe a holiday camp such as Butlins would be a better choice for those guests! I would certainly recommend the Globales Santa Lucia.More
