This beachside hotel comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.

The hotel is very well equipped but as we came here in the low season we were not able to use a lot of equipments. The staff was very handy and they recommended us a nice restaurant close to the sea. It is alright for a couple of nights, but nothing special unfortunately.More
Excellent holiday beauiful hotel
Went here with my sister and father in April 2017. This is my third visit to this hotel. Another great holiday can not fault this hotel. Location great, on the beach and loads of shops and restaurants close by. all rooms have sea views due to being on the beach. Short journey from airport which is good. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Rooms good and you also get loads for British TV channels. The food was excellent and lots to choose from. The pool area is quite small but you have 2 other areas above the pool to sunbathe. Loads of space. fab hotel would highly recommend.More

Perfect location....shame about the rest !
We visited this hotel for 11 nights and the best thing about the hotel is the location, well the only good thing is the location !!! We paid for all inclusive and arrived just before 12:00 noon . Checked in but room wasn't ready so stored cases in luggage room. As we had a 6:00am flight by the time we got to the hotel we were quite hungry so being all inclusive asked where we could get something to eat.....oh no you can't have snacks, you have to wait till 1:00pm for the restaurant to open for lunch at 1:00pm. So All Inclusive does NOT mean all inclusive, you do NOT get things like pizza, hotdogs, chips etc. We later found out that the little bar offers few nibbles on a tray, sometimes they were there and sometimes not but these nibbles are small plain cakes, plain biscuits and pretty much that was all we seen in our stay there.....pretty rank tbh So we eventually got our room and unpacked then went to enquire about the safe. We were told we couldn't get a safe yet as they were busy and to come back later. I appreciate they had a few new arrivals but I've just arrived with all my spending money, I've heard about pick pockets and the hotel can't give me a safe and expect me to carry all my spending money on me till later on the night. It was quite warm on the night and we picked hotel as it advertised air con. So we switched the air con on but it wasn't working. So that night had the patio doors open but sleep was disturbed by revellers walking back 3/4/5 in the morning. Following morning went to reception and asked if they could sort it. Came back after being out and again that night air con wasn't working and wasn't working for couple more nights so went to see Thompsons rep and told him what had been happening so he said he'd look into it. He got back to us and said maintenance would look at it. That night, still no air con !! So another couple of nights having hardly any sleep we again went to Thompsons rep and told him we still no air con so he said he would take it further and speak to Assistant Manager and told us to pop back later after he'd spoken to her. She said it was working so thought great, least we get some sleep. Went to bed that night and NO air con so next morning spoke to rep again !!!! So it turns out air con hadn't even been switched on in the rooms of the hotel so we've been lied to at least 4 times previously when people were telling us air con was on. Apparently it would take a couple of days for the air-con to actually be up and running in the rooms, so we waited another 2 days and then air con came on our last night !! Now for the food :Breakfast had horrible, warm, fried eggs which didn't look very appetising at all ! The fried bread was well and truly over cooked you couldn't even cut it. Black pudding was almost raw, lucky if had been cooked for 20 seconds on one side by the look of it and was not very appealing at all. Lunch and evening meal were very repetitive and few occasions they had meats, potatoes but no veg apart from deep fried cauliflower in batter ! Foods were not labelled and if they did have a label you can guarantee it wasn't what they said it was. Like one time it said turkey but it was actually pork. One day pork chops turned out to be lamb chops. The desserts looked like they had been bought in cakes/pastries of different types. I don't think they had chefs who made puddings, it looked all bought in and we had the same kind of dessert for our whole stay day after day and this was lunchtimes and evenings. Safe cost 62 or 64 euros for 11 nights and we got 10 euro retuned when we left. Entertainment was bit of a joke ! If you were towards back of entertainment room you'd be lucky to hear what was being said. The entertainments manager didn't even knock lights of when artistes were on stage, the audience had to ask and only then were they knocked off. Think they had trouble with the sound too as all you heard night after night was the microphone screeching and it was very loud squealing/screeching noise. The compare talked to adults like they were 5 yr olds when you could hear him and also one night went to do a kids disco when there's only approx 2 children in the room ??? We have been told of people that the old entertainments manager had been moved to another hotel.......get him back to the Santa Lucia ! All inclusive drinks : well the cocktails looked nothing like the ones advertised on the menu, they were just out of a type of machine, they looked and tasted nothing like how I've tasted cocktails when made up from fresh ! Must also add there's one barman on the day bar near pool he was very arrogant and I don't think he ever had a smile. But the bar manager on a night was fantastic, very friendly and had time for you. I must mention Jessica and the other girl who were keeping the room clean and collecting glasses , these 2 girls are an asset to the hotel, always had a smile, very friendly and looked after guests. There was also another girl (with the 9 month old baby) who worked on the show cooking in dining room, she was fantastic, cooked food how you wanted it, very friendly and always had time to make you feel very welcome, she probably the only one who knew how to cook. So to sum it up, this could be a fantastic hotel if they changed a few things I've mentioned because as I say the location is fantastic. The beds are comfy, the maids work hard but there's no way this is a 4*hotel, stayed in much better 3*More
Thomson's have now removed the reference to good gluten-free options
We chose this hotel over others in the area because we have Coeliac disease and MUST eat gluten-free produce. The Thomson website and brochure quoted a Tripadvisor review which stated that the hotel was good for GF options. This was not the case and they struggled to understand our needs. On the first night we were too late for dinner but were shown to the late night snacks (9.30 pm) and when we asked about GF were met with a shrug of the shoulders. In the restaurant we were able to eat from the grill but nothing else apart from tomatoes and cucumber. This, whilst well prepared, was boring and we eventually went out to eat as there are a number of restaurants which could cater well for our needs. Thomson's have now removed the comment from their website and intend to do so from their brochure. The rest of the food looked good. The use of the safe was 32 Euros for the week! There are limitations to the "all inclusive" Generally happy enough with the hotel other than our dietary problems.More
Fantastic Spot with a great sea view from any room . Hotel was spotless and we stayed in a refurbished room on the 7th Floor . Very Comfy Bed Could not fault the food at all and the staff were all very pleasant . Just wish the outside pool was heated as it was just too cold to swim in I would choose to stay there againMore
