This beachside hotel comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.

I notice somebody commenting on the flights being changed,we have also had our flight times changed three times. We have tried ringing but get fed up waiting in a queue. When we booked this holiday the times were perfect. Not any more.More

Good Hotel, Great Location
Stayed here with family during the school summer holidays. Room- Had a room on the 5th floor, quite basic but clean. You have to pay to hire the fridge, we didn't need to as we were all inclusive. Best thing was the view, overlooking the sea, you can hear the waves. We were on the opposite side to the pool and had afternoon and evening sun. Food- Very good. Good choice, hardly ever a queue at the buffet, really pleased with the all inclusive value. Beer and wine on tap (reasonable quality) as well as usual soft drinks. Bar- Good bar service, polite staff. Sometimes a queue would build up at the pool bar but this was July. Pool- Ah, a lovely pool over looking the sea but difficult to get sun beds unless up at crack of dawn. Sun beds became available mid/late afternoon. The hotel is in a great location- right on the beach, right on the seafront and close to bars, shops etc of Palma Nova. The beach is excellent, white soft sand and close enough to the hotel to get your all inc drinks. The evening entertainment was hit and miss, mainly tribute acts but you have so much to choose from outside of the hotel and (if you're up to it), Magaluf is down the road. I would definitely return. We got a great Thomson deal flying out last day of school term in July, so I feel we had good value for money. I understand rooms are due for refurbishment this year so not sure if that will push prices up. More
Stayed here for 2weeks in October 2016. We love Palmanova and stayed in quite a few hotels in the resort but having found The Santa Lucia Hotel we wouldn't stay anywhere else. From the room and fabulous views to the food to the staff to the stunning location everything was perfect! We are hoping to return in May of this year all being well.More

Perfect location - half board stay
Me and my boyfriend stayed here in July last year. I had previously stayed with my family many years before and remembered it's amazing location beachfront on one of the most white sandy beaches I'd seen! On return as a 25year old with my boyfriend this location did not disappoint. We managed to get a good deal for 7 nights flying from london (a good couple hundred pound each cheaper than a local airport) and this was based on half board breakfast and dinner included. Really quick transfer to hotel!! The rooms were just as I'd remembered as we didn't opt for a renovated superior room at an extra cost of £100. It was clean and comfortable, average size with a lovely bathroom with bath and overhead shower in classic Spanish marble decor. But the winning aspect of the room was the balcony overlooking the beautiful stretch of beach! We were not on the poolside and I feel this is the best side to be on as we had late afternoon sun so could sit out before and after dinner and no noise from the pool below. We paid extra for a fridge key which I think shouldn't have a charge and the fridge wasn't very cold! But was used to store drinks for the room. Breakfast was good as you expect for a buffet. There was a station where a lady made pancakes fresh too which was a nice touch. At night this was also a station where various meats/fish were cooked to Order and would be different each night and also a pasta station. The evening meals were mainly good throughout the week we enjoyed the Chinese themed night in particular which wouldn't usually be to our tastes but was actually well done. Only one night where I couldn't really feel satisfied but was a weekend so maybe a different chef? Lovely desserts too each night. Yes there are chips and some western type food but there was always a Spanish dish on offer fish or beef stew etc. The hotel facilities were good also. The pool was busy but we made the most of the lovely beach which is literally on the doorstep. We sometimes had late afternoon in the pool when some space freed up around it. If you want a quick and great value lunch the pool bar serves cheap and cheerful meals which were cooked fresh such as burgers and sandwiches and chips and pizzas. It offers all inclusive however we didn't have it. But I'm not an alcohol drinker and neither is my boyfriend. So didn't seem worth it. Lots of lovely places to eat for lunch some cheaper and others more expensive but worth it. We had a more expensive meal one evening as a change from the hotel at 'the grill' and can recommend beautiful steaks. And one of my favourite things to do was stroll down the beach promenade to the little mojito stand that served alcoholic and no alcoholic take away mojitos in big clear cups, I think we tried all the flavours and the pink one was the best! Only â¬2.50 each and considering most of the surrounding bars charged â¬6 for a non alcoholic cocktail these were so much nicer! There is an Aldi about 8-10 mins walk into magaluf and it's great for stocking up on water and nibbles for the room! A bus ride into Palma is a must to see the beautiful city and cathedral the beautiful backstreets with horse drawn carts, however, give the Palma market a miss as it's not worth the trek from the cathedral area whatsoever. All in all, the hotel is everything you need for a wonderful stay in Palma nova. Yes you could get better food and maybe more of a luxurious room but for the location it's amazing and definitely worth a stay IF you can get an offer. We paid £400 approx for our week half board in beginning of July. More
