Lively Magaluf

There’s plenty going on here, from poolside DJ sets to pre-clubbing foam parties. It’s all in a fantastic location, too – close to Magaluf’s beach, bars and clubs.

The clue is in the name here – this place likes things action-packed. Expect the likes of guest DJs, weekly foam parties, and games and music out by the pool.

You’re right in the centre of Magaluf, so you’ve got bars, clubs and the beach all less than 5 minutes’ walk away.

Honest Review - Great hotel overall, considering the price paid

Stayed in 15-23 July 2016 on a girls holiday. This was my 2nd time to Magaluf, previously stayed in Fiesta Sahara (the new BH mallorca) and ive previously stayed in cheap accommodation in Malia and Kavos. So i dont expect a 5* hotel. After reading reviews i was worried about staying here, but all things considered with the price you pay, this is an adults only hotel, so party central. You need to pay 100 euro deposit per room at arrival ( you will get this back providing no damages at end of stay), the bedrooms were basic, but clean, no self catering facilites provided, however you can rent things like kettle, fridge, etc. Free aitcon in each room. Free buffet breakfast, which had a huge choice - fry up, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurts, cheese, meats, croissants, bread rolls, served between 9-30am and 11.30am. The rooms were cleaned everyday apart from sundays and wednesdays, cleaners did need prompting to replace toilet roll (but no big deal, they were happy to give us some). The pool looks tiny in pictures, and i was quite worried it would be too small, as i prefer to hang by the pool, than a trip to the beach, however there was always plenty of room in the pool, beds by the pool filled up by lunch and there was always plenty of sun beds. All staff were friendly and happy to help, that does include reception staff and cleaners, the lifeguard got a bit funny having your own drinks by the pool (including water). Thomson Scene Reps Ian and Kelly were great, gave every guest a welcome meeting, werent pushy to get people to hand over their money (not many reps are like this) and were on hand to answer any questions we had. These lovely people, made sure every guest had a great time and me and my friends had a blast. The events i would recommend doing with the reps - frat party, pirate show, trip to BCM, the MCP pass work good if your drinking your moneys worth. Id recommend instead of the boat party, you do the blade runner speed boat trip - there is a hut on the beach where you can get tickets, this was amazing. The hotel is literally at the top of the strip. fab location and you dont hear the noise of the strip, so you can get sleep, if other party revelers in the hotel let you. However, being at the top of the strip, there seemed to be a lot more prostitutes around, but being an all female group we had no problem, however lads did get target frequently, so make sure you stay in pairs/ groups when you come back to the hotel at night. Overall, id definately come back to this hotel. Dont worry, if your staying here, you will have a great time. Also there is free wifi by the bar, pool areaMore

Stayed here last week for fairly Cheap cost per person, we weren't expecting a 5* hotel and we got what we paid for on the hotel front, the only thing that was a little annoying was the aircon barely worked but it didn't really bother us that much, the pool was nice and spacious with music playing all day and a very cheap bar with lots of choice! It's less than a minutes walk to the strip which is perfect for our type of holiday, there are also lots of restaurants around the hotel which is brilliant for when you fall out of bed at 2pm after a nights drinking, the TUI reps Ian and Kelly were also fantastic throughout our stay and helped us with loads of stuff when we needed it, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whose thinking of going on a lads holiday this summer!More

Lads Holiday

I see so many people complaining about this hotel, you're in magaluf on a lads holiday, it is what it is! Having already been to Magaluf (Wonderland lol), I knew not to expect a 5 star hotel with excellent service, you're in magaluf. On arrival it can seem a little stressful, asking for passports, sorting deposits and having those annoying reps come up to you trying to sell wristbands and club tickets after only being in the hotel for 5 minutes. But honestly, once you've got your key, they've explained their standard health and safety regulations just know you're about to have an amazing time for the next 7 days. Quick note, I personally next time wouldn't jump into buying any of the wrist bands they offer to you, wait until you've unpacked and sorted your stuff before you start throwing 200 euros + at their wrist band packages because they will literally sell it to you until you buy it. Oh and just remember, nothing sells out so if they play that one, you heard it here. The hotel itself, may not seem as glamorous as some of the ones you've seen elsewhere but for what you pay, you really can't complain. You get your bed & breakfast included although this is only available from 9:30 - 11:30 and you'll probably be asleep at these times but, there's cafes all around the hotel so not to worry. Personally I thought rooms were pretty small, but we managed to have 12 in one room every night to 'pree drink' before we headed out, not a problem. From pictures, we thought we may have booked the wrong hotel when we saw the pool, but surprisingly it was actually very decent. Busy, with a bar and beds to relax it was lively. On the down side, being a large rowdy group of 12 we did get a few warnings for playing music past 12 midnight and making racket in the corridors which could have led to being kicked out but if we made it through 7 days I'm sure you can lol. Once it hit 1, we got out and cause mayhem on the strip instead lol Having stayed on the other side of magaluf last year, I much prefered the location of Lively, right by the 'heavy end' of the strip you literally dive straight in on your first night. 15 minutes from BCM (dont worry its not long when you're p*ssed), shops just up the road and restaurants all along the beach which is 3 minutes away. In conclusion, if you have a tight budget, then Lively is a decent option. However, if you're willing to splash the cash, then of course, there are better hotels like BH Majorca which offer the outdoor stage (make sure you check that out).More

Worst hotel experience ever!

Arrived late at night at the hotel, the staff was little welcoming, and they had a hidden fee for everything. We sat on our terrass enjoying late nights, and almost every night there was people throwing up outside balcony, so it fell down on people's clothes and balcony's. The staff did nothing about it, and if we ever made a complaint, they did not even carei. Not a hotel I would recommend if you are older den 25+. Disgusting and reprehensible hotel for sure! Would never recommend this to anyone.More

The worst hotel ever!

Air conditioning was rubbish, certain staff members completely unwilling to help you with anything! Never told that we could rent a fridge or an iron ECT, we went with warm water everyday. We arrived at the hotel to then pay 115 euros for a deposit as we didn't have our confirmation on the hotel even though they had our names, one rep from Thompson was rubbish only talked to one group of lads and ignored everyone else. I would never stay at his hotel ever again!More
