Your guide to Costa De Los Pinos, Majorca

“A small, friendly resort, Costa de los Pinos offers relaxation, relaxation, relaxation.”

As its name suggests, Costa de los Pinos is set in picturesque parkland amongst fragrant pine trees. It’s a quiet spot which offers a relaxed atmosphere, yet easy access to the larger resorts of Cala Bona and Cala Millor. Costa de los Pinos has a pleasant shingle beach backed up by a few bars. And if you’re prepared to get out and about, you’ll find that Majorca’s east coast has plenty of other fine stretches of sand, ranging from lively with watersports to tranquil and secluded. The local restaurants are good value and offer a reasonable range of traditional and cosmopolitan fare. And if you like to take your tastebuds on a culinary adventure, it’s not far to Cala Bona for fresh seafood, Chinese and Italian. Days in Costa de los Pinos mainly revolve around sunbathing and swimming or relaxing in a beachside bar with a cooling glass of cerveza and a plate of olives. However, hire a car and the beautiful, rugged scenery of the inland countryside is at your service. Visit the historic town of Arta, home to the beautiful 14th century Sanctuary of San Salvador, overlooking the village and the ruins of a Bronze Age settlement, the oldest on the island. Alternatively, take a trip in a glass bottomed boat and see the shoals of fish and other sea life going about their business in the crystal clear waters.

Enjoyed our stay in the Eurotel Hotel. It is a little way out of Cala Bono and would be better if you did not have to rely on a car or the local bus. Maybe a shuttle bus once or twice a day. However, the hotel was very good - lots of space everywhere... more on this review
