The BQ Aguamarina Boutique Hotel is just a couple of steps from Cala Estancia beach. It’s getting a makeover for summer 2016, too, which includes a stylish rooftop pool.
You’ll struggle to find a hotel closer to the beach – step out the front doors and you’ll be on the sand in a matter of seconds. There’s another beach just a minute away, too.
This place is going to look pretty swish after its big refurb. From the modern whitewashed exterior, to the glass balconies and Balinese beds – the finished product will be quite something.

Small hotel with very good standard
Very nice hotel by the sea (only 10 meters to the beach). Small rooms but with high standard. Clean room, comfy beds, marvelous breakfast, fantastic view from the balcony, good wi-fi included, small fridge with free bottled water each day. Calm surroundings with lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Easy to take city bus to Palma.More

Drinks on the front.
Stayed in the sister hotel up the road, this one is marginally more expensive for drinks but still incredibly reasonable for the location and standard. Nice outdoor seating to people watch and drink. cocktails, wine, beer all good and all good value. Waitress pleasant and attentive. More
Perfect place for a relaxing week...
Just got back from having a "cheeky" week away in Mallorca, staying at this absolute little gem of a hotel... We had seen the hotel on the Thomson website and thought that it looked quite nice, and then checked out the reviews here on Trip Advisor and decided that we would take the plunge and book it, after all it was only for a week. Have to say, it actually surpassed our expectations. From the moment we checked in, we were made to feel so very welcome. Aina took the time to give us the low down of not just the hotel, but of the local area too - recommending restaurants, advising us on bus routes to Palma, and just general info relating to Can Pastilla. The hotel is slick, modern and VERY clean. The rooms are plenty big enough, with really comfortable beds, ample storage, and a fabulous shower. Air con and safe are included, and there are also free replacements of the water bottles in the fridge every morning. There are coffee pods and a wee coffee machine in the rooms, the first two pods are free, from thereon in, you will be charged for them. Beds are changed daily, and towels too (if you so desire) and pool towels are free and can also be changed daily. You will also find bathrobes and slippers in the wardrobe! There is a laundry list, and the bathroom provides you with soap, shower gel, shampoo, combs, dental kits and a whole plethora of goodies (not that we used any of them). The balcony is of ample size - we had a room on the fourth floor, on the right-hand side of the hotel, so this provided a great wee view of the beach and the surrounding area, and all of the planes as they take off / land and the balcony was a great place to have a night cap. Breakfast was fabulous - you name it, it was out on the buffet. Cold meats, cheeses, jams / spreads, fruit, cereals, fruit juices, water, tea, coffee, Cava (yes, Cava), breads, pastries and a whole range of hot foods including sausages, chorizo, omelettes, bacon, beans , hash browns, mushrooms and eggs cooked to order... all hate in the restaurant which has a lovely view over the beach and out to sea. The roof terrace is a great place to relax - the pictures say it all. Great views in a relaxing setting and lunch-time snacks are just lovely. We loved going out for an evening meal and then coming back to the hotel and chilling out with a drink at the front of the hotel, watching the world go by - just brilliant! The staff are excellent.... Andrea #1 (with the curves) was funny, warm and welcoming and attentive and always very helpful. Andrea #2 (from Can Pastilla), again was warm, friendly, always busy / on the go, and again attentive and very helpful. Vanesa was just a lovely lady - again, warm, friendly and funny and always putting on a wee twist just to make a drink or a snack just that little bit more special. Enrique was the master of the breakfast and always made sure your cup was full and your taste was catered for... as for the rest of the staff, they were equally as friendly, welcoming and helpful, it's just that the guys mentioned were the ones we tended to interact with more... Would we come back? In a heartbeat... Would we recommend it? Without a doubt... Such a great place to relax and just chill out... Can't recommend highly enough.More
We loved this nice hotel in Can Pastilla. Can Pastilla it self was not so great, hence the 4 stars. In general service in the hotel was really good, however the some of the staff lacked some English skills. But hey, I can't speak any Spanish, so it is forgiven. Food quality for both breakfast and lunch (@ the pool) was great, pool prices almost cheap. Bed was good, shower towards the end of our holiday less reliable, temperatures kept changing while taking a shower. Car rental offered by the hotel is really good, a challenge to find a parking spot though, so rent a small car :) if wanted you can rent a parking spot at sister hotel apollo for 10€ a night. Hotel wise I would definitely recommend, however location wise, Palma might be a better option, depending on wishes off course.More
Couldn't have asked for better!
Everything about this hotel has been perfect for a week away with my mum. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. All the food was delicious, I especially loved the freshly cooked breakfast to order with a huge variety, including Mallorcan specialities. Oh and Cava available for breakfast was a massive plus too! The room was great and so modern like the whole hotel with a great view from the balcony. The rooftop pool was beautiful and I loved the day beds, they are so comfortable! All the staff I have met have been very friendly and accommodating it has made my stay feel like luxury. I can't wait to come back again!! More
