Above all, the Inturotel Esmeralda Resort offers up a great pool scene. On the food front, the in-house barbecue and pizza place are guest favourites, plus Cala d'Or and its bars and restaurants are close to hand. A petite beach is even nearer.
The Inturotel Esmeralda Resort has an impressive location, hugging one of Cala d’Or’s peaceful little coves. What’s more, the property gives you easy access to the town centre’s shops, restaurants and bars – they’re around a 15-minute walk away.
The resort is made up of two hotels – the Esmeralda Park, which is on the beach, and the Cala Azul Garden, which is located just across the road from the Esmeralda – so there’s plenty in the way of facilities. Three swimming pools lead the way, flanked by grassy lawns, palms and greenery. Plus, you’ve got activities like minigolf and aerobics to choose from during the day.
In terms of food, the buffet restaurant features international cuisine and on-the-spot cooking stations in. If you fancy a change, though, there’s also a barbecue grill, and a pizzeria where you can get food to go.

Will go again !!!!!
What a lovely place to stay. Will definitely be going back. I and my daughter surprised my two granddaughters who didn't know we were coming. They stayed in block K and we were in I. Both apartments were clean comfortable and spacious. which both having a kitchen area. Beds were very comfortable. In fact the whole site was spotlessly clean. Even saw a man cleaning the flag pole one day. For children its great and the entertainment for both children and adults are very good. Our eldest granddaughter went to the mini club quite a few time on her request. The mini disco in the evenings was not to be missed. The entertainment staff were excellent. The area around the complex is clean with a very nice area for sinks and food down to the beach. The pool albeit cold we all went in and had a great time. The food is plentiful and is permanently being replaced good choice and the girls loved it especially the sweets. i wouldn't hesitate to go again. If you have very young children I would request a quiet room. But we were on the front of block I and there entertainment finished at 11pm.When the patio doors were closed we found it quiet. We went on half board basis. The only shame for us was the weather it would of been lovely to see a bit more sun. We bought a extra wifi package for 15Euros so we could use it in our room. Otherwise its around to reception area. Had a great time.More

Holidayed here in april with family and found this resort to be really good. The apartment was very clean on arrival. All the staff that we came across were very pleasant. Would say the reasturant food slightly over priced compared with some of the other little restaurants in the local area but the food was ok. All in all a top class resort and will definitely be booking here againMore

Excellent for family with young kids
This club-style apart-hotel has it all: super-friendly staff, fantastic buffet restaurant (WITH allergy-related info about the different dishes on display), really comfortable beds, super-clean pools, a kids playground, kids animation, etc ... all within steps of our apartment. The hotel's buildings are located around a little creek, with its own lovely little beach. It was the first time we did a half-board club formula like this and we loved it. The hotel really caters well to young children (children 6 and under are free if I remember well) and it shows: families with young children represent probably more than half the guests. The only (cosmetic) thing I can think of to improve is maybe the selection of TV channels. With a bunch of Dutch-speaking hotel guests, I was surprised not to find a single Dutch TV channel, which would have been great for the kids in the early morning, while mom or dad are trying to sleep in a bit... We also found out that the hotel offers baby-sitting, but it was too late into our stay to try it out. We didn't go out of the hotel complex very much, other than to go grocery shopping, yet we had great ice cream not far from the hotel and I also saw I sign for 3 EURO mojitos somewhere. Needless to say that we can't wait to come back!More

Just returned from a week at esmeralda park. Lovely resort and complex. Beautiful beach area and pool area. We went as half board and the food was good. Good selection of breakfast and evenin dinner varietys. Beautiful sweets and puddings. They were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some good entertainment .very talented animation team. The apartments were clean but a bit dated could do with a revamp but were sufficient. The down side with people with small children and pushchairs was that the only accsess to the pool area and beach was down steps which seemed a bit of a struggle. If you are situated on upper floors it becomes very difficult to carryluggage up and down. No more negatives it was a beautiful complex and well done esmeralda parkMore

We are currently staying here , and so far so lovely ( except the weather, cloudy , and breezy ) although this I'm sure will change . We are staying in block h , having asked to move from block I , due to noise from the nightly entertainment ( this may not be a problem to most , but we have 2 boys , 1 who has adhd and it's hard enough settling him at night ) The complex is large but has several pools all of which are lovely , no issues with sunbeds ,the beach is beautiful , and food both breakfast and evening meal have been lovely . Centre is a short walk away with loads of bars and restaurants , marina worth going to ( we stayed in Cala dor last year and went ) The hotel is good as it gives you the option of buying breakfast / evening meal daily , saving money if u buy 4plus days or more x Lovely place xMore
