At the Inturotel Esmeralda Resort, you get two hotels for the price of one – and they’re both just a few minutes’ walk away from the beach.
The Inturotel Esmeralda Resort has an impressive location, hugging one of Cala d’Or’s peaceful little coves. What’s more, the property is within easy walking distance of the town centre.
The resort is made up of two hotels – the Esmeralda Park, which is on the beach, and the Cala Azul Garden, which is just across the road from the Esmeralda – so there’s plenty in the way of facilities.

A week was enough
We have just returned home from a week long stay here in one of the premier apartments. The apartments are very clean and modern, with excellent maid service. Plenty of hangers and wardrobe space. Lovely bathroom and great shower, always hot water. Some English Channels on the rooms tv, including kids channels. Check your paperwork on arrival, we didn't realise we had free wifi in the room until day 4. Entertainment was average for adults but looked great for kids early evening, but most of the staff were Dutch, certainly no British as this was reflected in the guest from the UK in the minority. Evening shows were okay and you could see the staff worked hard to put on a good show. The booked artist we saw were good. Plenty of sun beds, just not enough room around the pool area, and so squeezed in like sardines, if you managed to secure one with your towel early morning. I didn't see the 40 minutes rule applied once. It took us two days to find the towel exchange spot (top pool, not main pools) but impressed by lifeguards at each pool area. Pool bar food was okay but pricey for a pool bar. 3 lunches with drinks €45 The location is excellent, with a picturesque cove, but the beach is clearly too small for the amount of visitors that flock to the beach daily from the surrounding area, even in mid September. There was barely enough space to walk into the sea, let alone play bat n ball. I was also put off swimming in the sea after getting stung by a jellyfish. Overall, not a resort I would return to again.More
First class holiday
We stayed at the Esmeralda for a week with a 14 & 18 year old. Arrived at 4 am, we did get a bit confused finding reception that early in the morning but the gentleman on reception was really friendly and helpful The room was spotless, very comfy I emailed the hotel prior to arrival to request a pool or beach view and wasn't disappointed, we had the pool on one side of the balcony and beach on the other Staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble We did pay 15 euros for wifi but wouldn't again as it wasn't very good in the rooms. It you do get it free while in reception. There were no shortage of sun beds and shades Small supermarket was a 2 minute walk away but did think prices were a bit much (4 euros for 4 slices of bacon ) so would be more organised next time to bring goods from home The hotel was clean , entertainment every night for little ones and for adults Would recommend Esmeralda to go on holiday and will definitely be back More
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in early September. The reception staff were friendly and efficeint and gave us a lovely room with a view. Thanks Sofia. The hotel is perfectly placed for beach or shops with plenty of restaurants also nearby. Should you be a pool person there was plenty of sunbeds although we were there out of school holidays so may be a bit different at peak times. Sunbeds weren't chained up but I don't know if there was any rule over reserving beds as we were out until mid afternoon every day. Rooms were clean and spacious with a nice big balcony. Already looking into bringing the family next summer.More
Stayed in gardens which was a walk away from main 2 hotels and was really like self catering apartments rather than a hotel (tiny reception and limited staff) - pool great, rooms clean and all staff friendly. Really a 3 star although neighboring hotels more like 4/5 star. If half board food fantastic and restaurant staff so accommodating (we are used to high quality food and this ticked the boxes) all in all a lovely holiday let down slightly by average rooms and accomodation.More
We had a premium room sea view it was spot on so modern the pools are great the food at hotel being half board was brilliant and the beach just next to you Everything nice been twice would go back every year xMore
