Above all, the Inturotel Esmeralda Resort offers up a great pool scene. On the food front, the in-house barbecue and pizza place are guest favourites, plus Cala d'Or and its bars and restaurants are close to hand. A petite beach is even nearer.
The Inturotel Esmeralda Resort has an impressive location, hugging one of Cala d’Or’s peaceful little coves. What’s more, the property gives you easy access to the town centre’s shops, restaurants and bars – they’re around a 15-minute walk away.
The resort is made up of two hotels – the Esmeralda Park, which is on the beach, and the Cala Azul Garden, which is located just across the road from the Esmeralda – so there’s plenty in the way of facilities. Three swimming pools lead the way, flanked by grassy lawns, palms and greenery. Plus, you’ve got activities like minigolf and aerobics to choose from during the day.
In terms of food, the buffet restaurant features international cuisine and on-the-spot cooking stations in. If you fancy a change, though, there’s also a barbecue grill, and a pizzeria where you can get food to go.

Good value for money!
Clean and spacious apartment with large balcony for breakfast in the sun. WIFI works spot on. If you like to stay in the park for your whole holiday you have everything you need to keep everyone happy, kids club, sports, evening shows etc, a shop and restaurants close by. If you don't like club holidays or children don't go, because it's a family place. ;)More
Beautiful Private Beach
I stayed here with my 2 kids during October half term. We booked s/c through lowcostholidays.com, the price was too good to say no. The hotel is a short transfer from the airport, was one of the first to get dropped off the shuttle bus. The hotel stretches out over quite a large area, and seems to encompass 2 hotels within the same group. Our room was average size, 2 single beds in a room, with a sofa bed, kitchenette, and a balcony. The room was clean, and was cleaned daily with fresh towels left daily, a must with 2 small kids. The staff in the hotel were friendly, my kids loved the animation team, and there were kids activities all through the day. The restaurant was average for Spanish hotels, nothing fancy. We were s/c however there was the option to dine for â¬16 for an adult, and both kids are free; so we took that option most nights over venturing into town. There are 2 pools, one large outdoor (which was freezing!) and a small indoor pool, which was adequate for the kids when it rained. The beach is a lovely quiet enclosed bay, and is the selling point of the hotel. Although busy, there was plenty of room, and the kids were happy to spend the whole day there, apart from for the odd ice cream break. There is little to do in the town itself, there is a small amusement arcade, and the local beach (also clean and well looked after) and there are a plenty of bars and cafes. We took the local bus to cala mondrego (about â¬5 return, 40 minute journey) and I highly recommend a visit--- but try to take your own food! I would recommend this hotel; the facilities are basic but adequate and the food is okay, but the private beach makes the holiday really worth it.More

Great family holiday
Travelled as a family with 2 toddlers both 2 years old. The rooms were big and clean with balcony with nice views. There is a great kids pool and 2 big pools with sunbeds around although people would put their towels down and they would all be taken pretty early. The beach is great, although not shallow and quite rough for the little ones, but we were happy to stay by the pool. There are sunbeds on a sandy area further up from the beach which was great for the kids and they played in the sand. Be aware of the late night entertainment which sometimes didn't end until midnight. We stayed the first 2 nights in a block close to the stage, but it was so loud that we requested to move, which was much quieter. Think we moved to block H, which also had an elevator which was handy. There is a snack bar serving ok lunch, although up the road there are better options. Just easy with the kids to eat in the hotel.. There is a playground for the kids and lots of grassy areas to run around. Overall a great family holiday, but I wouldn't travel here for a romantic getaway.More
good alround hotel
we stayed at the Esmeralda park in may 2014, the rooms are spacious and very clean, we stayed room only as we wanted to try the resturants all within 5 min walk or if you like turn left and 10 min you will find 3 streets with so many bars and food places the pool area is nice 3 pools and the cove to the private beach is stunning, the reception is very helpful too. I will be coming back in 2015 because there is so much I missed this time, all in all a very relaxing and stress free hotel and holidayMore

Just to say a big thanks to all the staff at the hotel. With a 3 year old and 5 year old a hotel is not sometimes the best of places. However, this hotel was different, firstly the hotel's mini club for children, kept our kids occupied all day. At times it was difficult to keep them away. The "dutch" staff were kind and considerate whatever the demands of the kids, it was great to see. The rooms were simple but clean. We were there on half board which was excellent value. The food was varied and tasty. The staff were always efficient, but pleasant, nothing was too much effort. The hotel was very family orientated, and although only three stars, I have stayed at hotels with much higher accreditation, but not the friendliness or quality of service offered. A great october vacation!More
