Above all, the Inturotel Esmeralda Resort offers up a great pool scene. On the food front, the in-house barbecue and pizza place are guest favourites, plus Cala d'Or and its bars and restaurants are close to hand. A petite beach is even nearer.
The Inturotel Esmeralda Resort has an impressive location, hugging one of Cala d’Or’s peaceful little coves. What’s more, the property gives you easy access to the town centre’s shops, restaurants and bars – they’re around a 15-minute walk away.
The resort is made up of two hotels – the Esmeralda Park, which is on the beach, and the Cala Azul Garden, which is located just across the road from the Esmeralda – so there’s plenty in the way of facilities. Three swimming pools lead the way, flanked by grassy lawns, palms and greenery. Plus, you’ve got activities like minigolf and aerobics to choose from during the day.
In terms of food, the buffet restaurant features international cuisine and on-the-spot cooking stations in. If you fancy a change, though, there’s also a barbecue grill, and a pizzeria where you can get food to go.

good alround hotel
we stayed at the Esmeralda park in may 2014, the rooms are spacious and very clean, we stayed room only as we wanted to try the resturants all within 5 min walk or if you like turn left and 10 min you will find 3 streets with so many bars and food places the pool area is nice 3 pools and the cove to the private beach is stunning, the reception is very helpful too. I will be coming back in 2015 because there is so much I missed this time, all in all a very relaxing and stress free hotel and holidayMore

Just to say a big thanks to all the staff at the hotel. With a 3 year old and 5 year old a hotel is not sometimes the best of places. However, this hotel was different, firstly the hotel's mini club for children, kept our kids occupied all day. At times it was difficult to keep them away. The "dutch" staff were kind and considerate whatever the demands of the kids, it was great to see. The rooms were simple but clean. We were there on half board which was excellent value. The food was varied and tasty. The staff were always efficient, but pleasant, nothing was too much effort. The hotel was very family orientated, and although only three stars, I have stayed at hotels with much higher accreditation, but not the friendliness or quality of service offered. A great october vacation!More

Best Holiday Ever!
We travelled to this hotel in August 2014, with a 14 and 11 year old we went self- catering. Firstly the room was clean and it had all the facilities we needed through-out the holiday. there was a lot of activities for children and adults including water polo, water zumba, basketball and many more. Everyday our children would play in the water polo matches and a lot of the pool would watch. One fault to the hotel is that you couldn't get a sunbed in the morning till about 3 in the afternoon but I enjoyed sunbathing on the beach while the kids were playing in the pool or the sea. The beautiful cove of Cala Esmeralda was only a couple steps away from the pool. My kids spent hours in the sister hotel , Cala Azul Park which has special private access to the water where you can jump off rocks and snorkel seeing thousands of fish. As we were self catering we didn't visit the hotel buffet often but the times we did visit, there was a great selection of food like seafood paellas to pasta dishes. however if we went to the buffet as full board it may be very repetitive to have it every night. the restaurants of the town were really nice especially down at the marina where the atmosphere is brilliant. the resort was extremely clean and all the staff were so so so nice! all in all we would defiantly go back we are looking to return next summer!More

Great Hotel Good Food
My wife and I were at this hotel in September 2014 . We had a sea view room and views were great over the surrounding area . You have a great selection of food on the buffet at breakfast and dinner , something for everyone's taste . The staff are very friendly and very efficient . The hotel is kept spotlessly clean . Rooms are a little tired and could be updated but were cleaned every day . There was a god mix of nationalities in the hotel . Pool area's are kept clean and towels removed from loungers after about 40 minutes if no one came back after that time . All in All we had a nice relaxing break at this hotel . General manager was around all day and night checking and keeping an eye on things around hotel and pool area's . Les Slater United KingdomMore

Great family apartments
Great family apartments. Not really suitable for a quite hol. Busy out of season I personally wouldn't visit in summer holidays. The reception gets really busy don't check out at the last minute!! Our bathroom was a bit tired but one of the cleanest places I've stayed. Good value and we plan to visit again.More
