Above all, the Inturotel Esmeralda Resort offers up a great pool scene. On the food front, the in-house barbecue and pizza place are guest favourites, plus Cala d'Or and its bars and restaurants are close to hand. A petite beach is even nearer.
The Inturotel Esmeralda Resort has an impressive location, hugging one of Cala d’Or’s peaceful little coves. What’s more, the property gives you easy access to the town centre’s shops, restaurants and bars – they’re around a 15-minute walk away.
The resort is made up of two hotels – the Esmeralda Park, which is on the beach, and the Cala Azul Garden, which is located just across the road from the Esmeralda – so there’s plenty in the way of facilities. Three swimming pools lead the way, flanked by grassy lawns, palms and greenery. Plus, you’ve got activities like minigolf and aerobics to choose from during the day.
In terms of food, the buffet restaurant features international cuisine and on-the-spot cooking stations in. If you fancy a change, though, there’s also a barbecue grill, and a pizzeria where you can get food to go.

We have been here for four nights and it was a very nice stay. We were in a small apartment (studio) in a very recently renovated building of Esmeralda Park. The room was very good. The walk to all the hotel's facilities (swimming pools, sea bay, reception) was pretty short. It's location is also great, with just a very short walk to the restaurants and supermarkets. We were really surprised how clean and beautiful everything is. The rooms are very clean, also the outside of the buildings are kept very clean by the staff. The swimming pools are also beautiful and are exactly as beautiful as shown on the pictures. The staff always greet you with a 'good day'. They do a great job! The park itself, of course after the entertainment programme, is quiet. And the beds are also good, so you sleep well here :) I think this is the perfect place for both people with children and couples without children. For children they have a lot of activities and the park is very suited for both the very young and the older children. We don't have children, but all parents and children looked very happy, so I'm sure it's a great place for both the children and the parents. Parking around the hotel is free. Wifi is also free in the lobby, but you have to pay for Wifi in the room. I think that's a small disadvantage, but it's good to use a little less internet on your trip of course.More

Great holiday with young children
We stayed in a new premium 1 bed apartment, fantastic shower, airy and very comfortable for my husband, me, a 3yr old and 21mth old. Our friends stayed in the same block. We went half board, food was good and a welcome break for a mum with 2 kids. We took the kids to the pool or beach everyday, played crazy golf where we also ate our lunch in the cafe there. The big hit with my girls was the mini disco. The kids had such a great time they didn't want to come home. So a great holiday for young kids not great if you are trying to get away from the crowds, this was June not summer hols and was packed but that adds to the entertainment for the very young so suited us at this stage of life.More

Stayed with the family, two children, for 5 days in June. Loved it! A variety of pools, small but nice beach and possibility to jump from cliffs...much appreciated by our oldest (14 years old). Nice room with a lovely view over both pool and sea. We did't have any meala included, but we ate in different restaurants for lunch and dinner. Breakfast we fixed in the room (could have made other meals as well). The atmosphere was nice and quiet and very relaxed, even if there were a lot of families, not at all like the "all inclusive resorts". There were entertainment in the evenings, which the youngest (6 years old) liked. Not too far from nice the shops and restaurants. Walked there every evening!More
Just returned from 9 days here with my husband and 3 year old son, and what can I say other than it was perfect for us! Very family friendly, I am also 6months pregnant and found the staff very accommodating (we had a top floor apartment to begin with & I struggled with the steps and they moved us right away with no fuss!) I really can't fault the apartments or the staff. Over all the place is very clean in fact there wasn't a day we didn't see someone cleaning the windows or sweeping up around the complex. My husband used the gym daily and that was also cleaned twice a day. They also have an indoor pool which was great for when it gets a little to warm outside, my son loved it! We will be returning next year without a doubt! It probably wouldn't be the ideal place for a couple after a quiet week away as it's very busy with children but it was perfect for us.More
A Fab Holiday
My wife and I recently returned from what can only be described as a fabulous holiday. We stayed in a superior apartment at the Inturotel Esmeralda Resort. The resort and the surrounding areas are kept very clean and tidy. The resort is well laid out with three pools with easy access for all age groups. There were lots of children there so, if you do not like children, you do have a choice to go to an adultâs only pool a short distance away. The pools are clean and supervised all of the time. You also have the choice to walk down to the beach to sun bathe and swim. Our accommodation was more than adequate with twin beds, kitchen and a bathroom with shower or bath. The bed linen was changed two days out of seven and towels were at your own discretion. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who where very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The town of Cala Dâor is only a ten minute walk, where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars. Congratulations to you all at Esmeralda for making our stay so pleasurable.More
