Hotel Rocador

The Hotel Rocador has a beach on its doorstep and easy access to Cala d'Or's restaurants and nightlife.

This place has an exclusive location, overlooking the pretty cove of Cala Gran. It’s fronted by a curve of golden sand, and it is less than a 5-minute walk from Cala d’Or’s cosmopolitan town centre.

The hotel has just been made over, so you’ll walk in to box-fresh interiors. Everything has a minimalist feel. Rooms, for instance, feature stark white walls and furniture, offset by colourful, arty murals.

Fantastic!

This is simply now the best hotel in Cala D'or. We had a slight mix up on arrival when our prebooked sea view room was not available but this was fixed within two days and worth the wait. 1512- what a room!. !gracias! The food was absolutely top class. A lovely touch to include one night Tapas and one A la carte. Made in feel very special. All the staff are lovely, and hard working. As a couples only the hotel is quiet and has entertainment that is not too intrusive. All in we had a wonderful time and although it was close to the end of the season the hotel is worthy of the positive reviews. We will most certainly be back- as an aside check out Dugans Band- the best I have seen in a long time.More

Outstanding

stayed at this hotel last week of October. We could not find fault here every where is clean and the staff very warm and welcoming. Even though it was the end of the season and not many couples all the services were available to us and nothing too much trouble for the staff We were given a great room (1517) with a great view of the sea it was both comfortable and spotlessly clean. We will definitely be returningMore

superb high class hotel

We had a week in this hotel in October 2014 and couldn't believe how lovely it was, everything from the first impression, the polite professional staff very friendly and helpful then looking around the place a lovely surprise, behind the hotel and the grassy sunbathing area was a beautiful beach with access down some steps. Our room was contemporary and spotless, very comfortable with sea views and across the bay white villa's nestled inbetween the trees. the selection and quality of food in the restaurants was superb and the staff were wonderful and friendly. Close by some lovely bars for food and drinks at night we were able to walk off our evening meal and even watch the football outside with evening temperatures of 27 degrees. A nice drink before bed in the hotel lounge, a perfect end to the day whilst listening to an amazing singer and acoustic guitar, not sure of their names but they were fantastic. Altogether, a top class hotel, never ceased to amaze us. Not forgetting the spotlessly clean pool area and bar with towels changed regularly for just 2 euros and another indoor pool, steam room, sauna, gym and massage if required. Couldn't fault it. Thank you for a lovely holiday Rocador hotel staff.More

Lovely hotel,The very best staff and manager.

This is a beautiful hotel,I loved it from the moment we walked through the door.We were given a nice drink and mad to feel very welcome by reception. We had requested a top floor room , which we were given but didn,t expect the lovely view of the sea and yachts passing by that was a really happy start to our holiday. The decor throughout is fresh clean and relaxing and in very good taste. Food lovely. Entertainment =Fernando great. Thomson rep =Sarah very helpful and friendly. Also great singer and guitar player in the evening. The best thing of all is the hotel manager Mr Miguel Rojas anfriendly.d all his staff, he is the very best hotel manager we have ever met. He works very hard and nothing at all is too much trouble for his guests. He is proffesional and fantastic and will go out of his way to please. All staff genuine warm and friendly. DO go you will have a lovely hols.More

Another child-free gem

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Rocador Hotel in Cala d'Or. Wee agree with most of the good things already written about the hotel - its location, above the beach, so that the restaurant appears to be in the trees with a wonderful view. The hotel is near to shops and bars and we recommend Woody's for football! What delighted us the most was the unfailing friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. My friend had a recent mobility problem and contacted the manager prior to our holiday for information about the height of loo seats etc. His personal reassurance continued throughout the holiday. She asked for a non-slip mat for the shower, which arrived very quickly. We found out later that a member of staff had been sent out to buy one especially. In the restaurant there were 3 or 4 varieties of specialist milk but only full milk otherwise. After raising this with the manager, skimmed milk was provided and we were given a carton to use in our room. The only caveat is that there are many steps to the beach, some of which had no hand rails, even going the long way round via the spa. This could be difficult for those with limited mobility. There was no problem with access to the shops and town.More
