A Family Favourite

Visited on 15th October for a week with daughter and her children. hotel was starting to close for season but entertainment crew always around doing full program of entertainment. Bar staff fantastic very attentive. Stayed self catering but food bought from bar or restaurant was of a very high standard. Pool area lovely with plenty of sun loungers and parasols if you require shade. Free wifi at bar but small charge for use in rooms.More

booking nightmare

i booked early january for 10 days in august, with travel republic only to be told a week before i was due to leave that the hotel was over booked, all the usual excuses from both hotel and travel republic spoiled our holiday for 2015, anyone interested in booking a holiday with either should be very waryMore

Bob B,

Lovely place

The hotel is in a handy location within a short walk to shops, beaches and restaurants. It has a nice pool area which was not too busy late September. Rooms were clean and well appointed with a massive balcony ( block B). Staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.More

Oasis Of Relaxation

The rooms are large, clean and well appointed with kettle, toaster, microwave, hob and even a filter coffee maker! Plenty of utensils, pots/pans, plates, colanders and even a bottle/wine opener. The decoration is a touch basic and dated but not by any stretch a problem. 32" flat screen and fridge with ice box. Nice sized balcony without being huge. Lovely pool and kiddies section with small kiddies water area (to say park would be an overstatement), in the eyeline of the beds near the pool to allow parents to chill out and get a tan without worry as well as toilets easily accessed next to the pool. Small nicely appointed bar which is a little pricier than local bars but not too bad for food and drink but nothing fancy. Daytime/evening entertainment is understated so you may want to venture out of an evening. Location is amazing with 2 beaches right on the doorstep, out of the back gate to the right across the road is a shortcut to the main beach and out the front across the carpark to the right is another short cut to a more secluded beach with another just over the far hill. I have been the last two years but sadly as the prices have been edging upward year on year because of the positive reviews I am having to try a cheaper option in Cala D'or next year but if I had a few more pennies I would be coming back in a heartbeat! nb free wifi in the bar/restaurant/reception areaMore

October end of season break

We have been to this hotel many times before but this is the first time out of season (arrived back today 24.10.15) We love the cala d'or playa and always stay half board and pay extra for the superior room. We really enjoyed the week and met some really nice people as we always do. Special mention to millie,happy/happy and chocolate who continue to impress me with their energy, talent and friendliness. Rudi and inyaki still working every day in the bar/restaurant which serves up lovely food and drinks, they work tirelessly to keep the service swift and with a smile. Area is always spotless. Love sofia on reception nothing is too much trouble same can be said of felix in fact all of the staff are a1. We are booking for next June definitely, the cala d'or playa has that magical mix that keeps pulling you back I would recommend to the fussiest of travellers. (choco croco)More
