You get a beachside location and a double helping of pools here. You’re really central, too, with Cala Bona on the doorstep.
The Levante, Levante Park and La Luna hotels are all part of the same complex, so you can use the facilities at all three. There’s a choice of three pools, plenty of evening entertainment, and two buffet restaurants.
You couldn’t be better placed for Cala Bona’s bars, shops and restaurants, all of which are seconds away. And it’s about the same distance to a sandy, manmade beach.

What a night mare
Have stayed here before but this time was just a night mare. Arrived at the hotel to be whisked off to have dinner then came back to reception to get my room key and was told we had to pay a local tax. Bags had been taken to our room whilst we had something to eat, but when we got to our room we where welcomed by 30 degrees and broken air conditioner and phone, so off I went to reception to tell them as the receptionist (Juan) told us we had the best room in the hotel and why would we be bothered it was so hot and the phone should be working ( was even told we must have done something even though we had only just arrived and the other guests that had stayed there hadn't complained). Maintenance manager couldn't fix it told us manana ( which we heard a lot from him). Had to go and beg for a fan so we could have the door open and hopefully get some sleep. Air conditioner fixed enough so the room cooled to 12 degrees with the help of the fan (which we kept for the whole holiday) phone finally fixed after 13 days and loads of complaints from both us and the reps. Fire alarm went off in reception after having a shower only found out when reception had to come and knock our door as phone wasn't working. A week later came back to our room to the smell of paraffin fumes and after complaining 3 times the rep finally came to the room and agreed it smelt so had to leave door open to belcony and given air freshener told it was the emergency generator after a power cut. On our last day we where given a unwelcome dearly morning wake up call ( well I say call but it was really them banging on out calling, we where on the top floor. Others had leaking showers and someone fell in the shower and broke her hip. Lifts kept breaking down and had the pleasure of being stuck in there myself with no lights. On the upside waiting staff and chambermaids are fantastic, hard workers a credit to the hotel shame reception and maintenance are the same. Asked to speak to manager and was ignored. Food was so good and plenty of choice. If you want a sun bed be prepared to get up early to reserve one. Hotel has just had a big refurbishment but the price doesn't reflect this at all an wasn't informed this had happened or I might have gone to another hotel. Felt a guinea pig in a new hotel however paid a lot of money for a thomson gold hotel and didn't get gold standard. So disappointed are such high standards on our previous visit which is why we came back. More
Not what I was expecting
First visit to this hotel and from reviews I had read was expecting great things. The hotel has just had a makeover but my husband and I thought that all the white walls and grey woodwork gave a rather stark appearance. We prefer a bit more atmosphere and traditional Spanish styling. However the room was spotless and very comfortable. I was disappointed that the toiletries were never replaced, we got 2 sachets of shampoo, 2 sachets of shower gel a shower cap and a tiny bar of soap. Also the towels were not as large as in other gold hotels we've visited. The other disappointing thing was the dining room. No atmosphere here at all and the food at dinner was a bit hit and miss, and the meat was never tender. And roast potatoes in garlic! Really? Breakfast, however ,was very good. The pool area is lovely although you need to get up at 630 to get a couple of sun loungers. We did enjoy our holiday but not enough to return.pMore

Poor entertainments team
Stayed at the levante in the last week of may. First things first, the hotel itself is lovely, quite fitting of its 4 star rating, you can tell it has really had lots of work done. The room was a decent size overlooking the outdoor staging area where the evening entertainment would be held in the summer. Food was great, always a different choice every night, great tasting and enjoyable. All Spanish staff lovely, each and every one of them had a smile on their faces and always said hello. The Thompson reps were also always helpful with our every need. Now for the entertainment, Hanky panky we're fantastic, different music to suit the masses. Very funny and very entertaining. The guest performers throughout the week were fantastic, each act was different and suited a different taste, we much prefer the guests acts to the in house shows. Finally the entertainment team, I have got to be brutally honest, the shows were of a decent standard but have seen much better in the past. Every single member of the team were complete miserable sods. Do any of them actually want to be there? They couldn't care less about making sure their guests had a good time more about standing around gassing with each other. They spent half time sat with a drink at the bar or standing messing about with each other at the back of the room, do they not have a manager telling them what to do? For the whole week we were there nobody on the entertainment team came to speak to us, hardly saw them speak to any guests except the "favourites" who'd obviously joined in one of their silly games in the daytime. I've done many cruises in the past and the entertainment team have always been a delight and one of the highlights of our holidays but this time I think you could have pulled 4 people off the street and they probably would have done a better job. Thing Thompson need to think about their recruitment process in future to get people who actually want to talk to their customers. But apart from that we had a fairly relaxing holiday, the area is beautiful and we would come to the levante again. More
Best holiday ever!
My husband and I had a most enjoyable 2 weeks in this wonderful hotel. The entire hotel staff were so helpful , polite and friendly. Each member of the reception area were so helpful and kind. And likewise in the restaurant , the staff were so welcoming for every meal. The variety of food was delicious and beautifully presented .The entertainment was excellent thanks to lovely young talented people who made up the Thompson ' Gold ' shows at night . The wonderful couple 'Hanky Panky ' Angie and Eddie put on a great show every night ,they were wonderful singers and created a great atmosphere , they were amazing ! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We can't wait to return to The Lavente Hotel someday soon! Hugh and Mary Cullen Dublin.More
As first time visitors to this hotel we were very pleased with our choice. We had a superior room on the 6th floor and couldn't fault it in any way. All staff and reps throughout the hotel were more than pleasant and efficient. The entertainment was the best we have enjoyed in any hotel recently. Why then 4 stars instead of 5? Because even though we are a retired couple we do like to swim in the sea when on holiday and we liked the fact that this hotel was right on the beach. Unfortunately we hadn't realised that it was impossible to enter the water because of the rocks. We did try on one occasion to walk along the jetty and climb down the metal ladder but didn't try a second time! Cala Bona is a very pleasant place to holiday and the Levante hotel was a good choice.More
