Reception, where you check in, is just over the road at the Protur Floriana Resort. It acts as a bit of an ‘added bonus’ to your own apartments. Pop over there to use the tennis courts, or relax in the sauna – they’re yours for the taking. And if you’re holidaying on a half-board basis, this is where you’ll get your meals, too.
Back on your own turf, it’s all about the pool. It’s a little lagoon-shaped number with a wraparound sun terrace and a pool bar serving drinks and snacks. The kids get their own section, plus there’s a hotel-run children’s club at the Floriana Resort they can join in with.
Another winning factor about this place lies partly in what it doesn’t have. Because it’s small and laid-back it isn’t overloaded with resort-style entertainment and activities. As a result, it’s great for low-key holidays where you’re left alone to enjoy your time off.
Lastly, there are the actual apartments and studios to consider. These homely, air-conditioned spaces may not be cutting-edge style-wise but with kitchenettes and decent-sized balconies, they make comfy holiday bases. Expect light rooms kitted out with simple pine furniture.

Me & my family have been 4 times now & enjoyed it every time we have been. We are coming back again, we went at end of aug. We eat at Yates bar, very good food & the staff are brilliant so we will be back in aug 09, cannot wait. more on this review
