Second time staying here ....great location....
We stayed here for 10 days in June and could not fault anything ... rooms are clean and well equipped ... toaster, kettle, juicer, hairdryer ironing board and iron.... Cleaners came 9 out of 10 days. We stayed in upstairs apartment with view of pool and ocean. Apartments are well located just a short walk to beach and along strip where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Nicos Restaurant is attached to this hotel and food was excellent and staff were very friendly and we ate here 4 or 5 times and were happy every time. We did not stay at the pool as we love the beach but I did notice towels being put on sunbeds to reserve them but there seemed to still be sunbeds available also. We will definitely be returning again.More
Good accommodation in a great location
Visited for a week at the end of June. Pros -Clean and airy. Fan kept us cool on hotter days -Great location with supermarket close by, plenty bars and restaurants -Helpful staff at reception -Some English choices on the TV when we were staying in the apartment -Good price -Nice powerful shower Cons -Bed was a little uncomfortable, my back was very sore as was a foam mattress. My partner was fine though so just something to watch if you have a sensitive back. -Internet was hit and miss -Pool bar closed a bit too early All in all, very glad we stayed here and would certainly recommend and stay again. Cheers AvrilMore
Been staying here for the last 4 years and sadly found the apartment very shabby with a view of a blank yellow wall.needs a bit of an upgrade however the staff are great as is the pool and the area .Great local supermarket across the road .More
Over all place is basic and clean. .(u get what you pay for! ). When checking in alone. .i had booked it for 2 people ..my self and my teenage daughter who was in Lanzarote already with her granny and i was surprising her. I was questined by reception about being one person? I explained this to the lady that i would be meeting up with my daughter that evening and she would be back with me, she wanted here passport and mentioned tellin the POLICE!!! ...Ive no idea what she was trying to imply!!!!???? (I was over to surprise my daughter as she didn't think i could make it with work commitments...didn't think id have to tell the Spanish authorises haa!!) So had a shower washed hair, ....HAIRDRYER BROKEN ....phoned reception. .nothing they can do. ..no replacement ones, then went down with drippin hair. ..she sent me off to look for a dryer that was in the toilets....turned out 2 be a hand dryer with hardly any power... (So much for having nice hair on 1st night in lanzarote!!)...was told they don't know when it week be sorted. Kind of annoying. No mirrors any where sept bathroom, so you've to bring a chair from kitchen in and stand on it to try check yourself to see if you "look fat in this!!!"...and forget about doing your make up unless you bring a hand mirror (#firstworldproblems!!). Teen Daughter also woke up with itchy allergy and rash to whatever they are washing sheets with just to let people know incase sensitive skin. Good big balcony tho and good supermarket right accross the road. Appartment 49AMore
Comfortable 2nd Stay
Stayed here for one week and overall very happy with the apartments. Cockroaches were off putting but I know this isn't a fault of parque tropical. We did find some in and under the beds though and the dead one under the bed seemed to be there quite some time. I found the cleaning to be not as good as last year but still enjoyed the week here and will return again.More
