Stayed here, it's a nice complex , there's 3 different complexes to it, room were basic but clean. Had food from the snack menu which was nice aswell. Very child friendly . Walking distance 3 mins downhill to main promenade strip for bars and restaurants . Spar shop across the road downhill from complex. More
Overall good stay.
Stayed for a week with my mum in March. The upsides were the different pool areas so we could choose to be away from the louder families by the kids pool. The location was ok, we don't mind walking up the hill and the steps throughout the hotel area. Might be a problem if you have small kids or bad legs. Some Music around the pool and bar would have been nice, as well as some more outside seating. There were only four tables available outside at the snack bar, and two of them constantly shaded. Big plus for one of the incredibly helpful and service minded pool safety guard who put tables forward when he saw us approaching with drinks and fixed us the newest sun beds the whole stay. More
Linnéa à ,
We stayed here in February for a long weekend. The apartments are basic but spotless. They are in a great location and although there is a small supermarket within the apartments there is a huge and cheaper supermarket straight across the road. It wasn't great weather when we stayed, so I wasn't in the pool, but the pool area was lovely and spotless clean. All the staff in the complex were lovely and helpful. We were self catering and ate out, so I can't comment on the food, but the menu looked good as did the prices and I must say it was busy any time we passed. The apartment wasn't very big, but was fine for the weekend, not sure if I would have felt cramped if we were staying for a week or longer, but if I was going back to Lanzarote, I would definitely choose these apartments again. My only gripe, as usual, is having to pay for wifi - which I did as it wasn't expensive.More

Perfect family holiday
This was our first holiday abroad with children - daughters 6 yrs, 3 yrs and son 8 months. We holidayed from 12th-19th March. The hotel was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - Andrea on reception was a particularly nice guy and the young pool guard was great with our girls (I can't remember his name - Moamu maybe?). We went self-catering with breakfast. We had two bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge-diner area and a wet room with WC, basin and shower (no bath) and a baby travel cot, which was very useful. OK, the sound can travel a little from the floor above your ceiling but it's really not that much of an issue. For the price itâs good. Breakfast was fine for me but Iâm not fussy, I just ate a full English breakfast every day! There was loads of choice for breakfast along with the usual fruit, cereal, toast, meats, cheeses etc. We were very happy. There are three pools plus a toddler pool. Only the largest pool is heated and this was still pretty cold but I managed to convince the kids to get in eventually! We were out most evenings but I did manage to catch a glimpse of the entertainment on two nights⦠One was a drag queen miming to opera and the other was a DJ playing ânot original artistâ 50âs rock and roll â it sounded as if every song had been recorded using just a keyboard and drum machine. It was way too corny for my but everyone else seemed to enjoy it - they were largely made up of Scandinavian folk, so go figure ;-) The kids entertainment was ok but our girls were not impressed with the music â they were hoping for some 70âs/80âs pop disco classics or at least a bit of Madonna or Cyndi Lauper⦠but no. To be honest, there is lots more to experience out and about so we spent very little time in the restaurant/function room. The location of Cinco Plazas is brilliant because itâs only a short walk down the hill to the beach. There is also a supermarket just around the corner with a good amount of stock. For families with babies/ pushchairs, I totally recommend booking a ground floor apartment. Also, take your bottle steriliser if you can. We used the microwave sterilising bags and they would only fit two bottles in and not much else. We worked around it but the steriliser would have been so much easier. Also, many sites I looked at prior to flying informed us that we wouldnât be able to get Cow & Gate readymade stage 1 milk⦠Not true - I found a newsagent near the beach that sold them. A few additional things Iâd like to recommend⦠RANCHO TEXAS is a great day out. The kids loved the animals in the very impressive setting. The splash park was cold but still a lot of fun! On a Tuesday and Friday they hold Country Nights with all you can eat BBQ buffet and ALL YOU CAN DRINK! The entertainment was brilliant and the kids were mesmerized â the entertainers were absolutely brilliant with both adults and kids. Another recommendation if you are missing hearty home cooked food is to go to The Spinnaker bar, which is located above the supermarket just around the corner from Cinco Plazas. The food is outstanding, the portions are generous and the service is great. They love kids too. On the whole, this was an amazing holiday and as a result we will be coming back to Cinco Plazas next year. Everyone we met whilst in Lanzarote was lovely and they were so great with the kids â weâve never felt so welcome. Thereâs just such a pleasant vibe in the air. Canât wait to come back!More

We Loved It!
Beautifully laid out, with lots of vegetation for shade. Have never been to a place where the staff have been so friendly, conscientious and present! Daily sweeping up of leaves, for example. I even saw someone polishing the steel ladder to the pool. :-) The apartment was clean and well provided. I can't say as I noticed noise from my neighbours particularly, certainly not as bad as some of the complaints I've read here. The beds were comfy (although we'd have preferred a double, I've yet to find a Spanish apartment that has one) and we slept well. There are 3 pools, one of which is heated and therefore busier. The other 2 were cool to start with but really quiet. Great central location, close to the beach. Can't think of anything to complain about... Highly recommended. P.S. My partner was super excited watching the planes taking off and landing at the airport a short bike ride down the coast. Check it out!More
