These apartments come with three pools. There’s one in each part of the complex, and the two smallest ones are for chilling out. Come mealtimes, there’s a buffet restaurant with a bonus à la carte option.
It’s a 10-minute downhill walk to a long sandy Blue Flag beach. And Puerto del Carmen’s shops, bars and restaurants are even closer.
Designed for 3 to 11 year olds, Thomson Kids’ Club offers 2 hours of activities, 5 or 6 days a week. And that includes at least 3 evenings. It’s split into sections, with Tots for 3 to 5 year olds, Team for 6 to 8s, and Tribe for 9 to 11s. Best of all, most kids’ clubs activities are completely free. And outside of peak season, there are parent and toddler sessions 3 days a week, too. For your peace of mind, all Thomson Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times. Open from May to mid-October.

What an amazing holiday, stayed from 6th-20th August
Reception polite, helpful & always on hand
Our clean spacious apartment was right near the pool in plaza Amarillo
Although there is a supermarket on site, we used the HiperDino which was less than one minute walk away
Full of everything you need.
Laundry room with 2 washers 1 dryer which were useful
Cleaners were there most days
Linen & towels were changed
I did ask to change towels more frequent, which they were only to happy too.
Wifi was â¬18 Euros per week for two devices but we swapped & changed as long as u wait 20mims before using another device.
The long strip of restaurants were down hill but didn't cause us a problem, may be an issue for disabled people.
Great restaurants were Pinocchio, American Indian Cafe, Oriental World Restaurant, Chiquito's, restaurant , all do really lovely food
Kids Club also was really fun.
We did the Catalanza Catamaran Cruise through Thomson
A fabulous birthday treat for me !!!
I need to make a special mention to ***Marmadou the lifeguard ***

Fab holiday ððð
Stayed at Cinco Plaza for 2 weeks 26th July-10th August. 4 adults & 2 children and 2 apartments. Check-in was straight forward, were given a map to where our apartments were. Lovely friendly reception staff. We requested upper apartments with pool views and that is what we got. Apartments had ample space, clean and a lovely balcony with the sun all day. Cleaners came in on numerous occasions with clean towels, toilet rolls. There are 3 pools and we overlooked the main large pool, had read previous reviews so was a bit dubious, but we loved it. There was entertainment around the pool which started at 10-4 o'clock, there was music, games such as volleyball, darts, aerobics, card game everyone joined in. If you don't enjoy this sort of thing, I would suggest one of the quieter pools. Mamadu one of the lifeguards, great bloke, always happy and smiling and interacting with everyone. For children there is a kids club. Our grand daughter went on several occasions and she absolutely loved it.
The only negative remark I can make about this hotel is the SUNBEDS !!! They are chained up until 9 a.m. then a mad scramble for them, you also get people sitting around from 7.30 a.m.or leaving towels where they want to sit !! Must say thou, if you leave your sunbeds attended for 40 minutes, the lifeguards will remove your towels and I actually agree with this, because people tend to grab the beds then disappear for the morning/afternoon. Cannot fault the cleanliness of the complex, cleaners, maintenance staff were keeping the complex immaculate.
We had a late flight on our return journey home and we asked if it was possible for a late check-out, luckily 1 of our apartments was free so we had it till 6p.m which was a godsend and at a cost of 35â¬.
Location was just perfect, turn left when you come out of hotel and there is a large supermarket that does everything. A 5 minute walk down a hill and you hit the beach, restaurants and bars, plenty to choose from.
All in all a great holiday and would definently return ððMore

Not for the elderly ...........but.....
Cinco plazas are perched on top of a rather steep hill which makes it quite hard to walk down and up if you have walking difficulties, but reception will order a taxi if you ask.The rooms are quite small for four people and have NO air conditioning which made them like sweat boxes in the nights, the cleaning was a bit hit and miss just getting a brush and a wipe with no regularity.
If you want to get a sunbed be prepared to get up in the middle of the night and lay a towel down on the floor as all the beds are locked up in the night and opened at 9am when the people swarm out like locusts grab the beds and put them where they have laid the towels it was pathetic to watch as there were loads of sunbeds
We only ate in the restaurant a couple of times the food there was very nice and reasonably priced, there's also a supermarket nearby, down on the seafront there are loads of restaurants and bars you'll be stuck for choice.
All the staff were very pleasant especially in reception and being a large complex your not going to please all the people all the time, overall it was a nice holidayMore

My friend and I spent last week at the Cinco Plaza and found it very poor the sheets were not changed in the week and when I went to the reception to ask for a change of sheets they said no problem the next morning a lady came to the room and took the sheets onto the balcony and just shook them and put back on the beds again, as it was extremely hot at night sweating was a problem therefore the sheets needed to be changed at least once in the week would not recommend this place to anyoneMore

We stayed in these apartments the first week in August as a couple, the apartment was quite big, with plenty of room and spotlessly clean, with plenty of utensils if you are planning to cook. Our towels were changed 5 times out of 7 and our sheets were changed once (which I was not expecting). The cleaners were in 6 days out of 7 so we could not fault anything. These apartment have a huge amount of staff as they are so big - the complex is divided into 3 areas, we were in the Montana section which was smaller than the other 2 which suited us.
The only gripe I had was the apartment we stayed in had a partial pool view and the other part was looking onto a wall (apartment 2112), but there were other ones which had no view, so I suppose we were lucky. The main pool has the entertainment and the music, I felt they could have had some background music and maybe a little shop or bar at our pool instead of having to go to the main area all the time. If you wanted the softer sunbeds you had to be in the queue by 8.30 a.m. or else you were left with the hard plastic ones. But it is only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach downhill.
It is in a great location for restaurants and nightlife 5 minute walk to the strip.
I cannot comment on the food and entertainment as we did not stay there for any.
There are plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars for entertainment, which were quite reasonable.
We were lucky to get these apartments as they are assigned to Falcon and Thomas Cook. We booked it through Hotelclicks.com for â¬350 for the week, but you have to book well in advance. I have no hesitation in recommending them especially if you have children.
We stayed a week previously in Fuerteventura but Lanzarote won hands down. We are planning our summer holiday for 2016 now either in La Penita or Parque Tropical Apartments. So checking out tripadvisor reviews to find out which is the best to book.More
