Cinco Plazas Apartments

Loading

You’ll find the Cinco Plazas Apartments on Lanzarote’s southern coast, tucked among tree-cloaked hills. There’s a six-kilometre-long Blue Flag beach around a ten-minute walk away, and the shops, restaurants and bars of Puerto del Carmen are even closer.

The complex has three swimming pools, which are set in roomy sun terraces. You’ll find a children’s paddling pool, too, and there are a couple of pool tables under striped canopies that are a big hit with teens. Smaller guests, meanwhile, get to join in with the activities at the Thomson Kids’ Club.

Overlooking the whole scene are the apartments, which are housed in low-level, whitewashed buildings. Inside, cream walls and royal blue soft-furnishings create a traditional feel. Large balconies come as standard, and, each apartment has a kitchenette complete with all the essentials, plus extras like a microwave and a coffee-maker.

fantastic place

just returned from a weeks holiday and wished we had booked two weeks, what a great place,3 pools lots of sun beds got one everyday even after lunch, so so clean there is a life guard that actually looks alert and ready to save unlike some who sit looking half asleep. We booked a studio apartment that overlooked the road it was massive for two people.it contained everything you need, large flat screen TV, with some English channels including the news channel, toaster, coffee maker, kettle microwave and two rings to cook on, there are rooms that face the pools and next time we will book one of these only because the view is better, the hotel has a restaurant that serves snacks during the day at very reasonable prices and a daily evening menu, but we ate out each night at the very many restaurants that are 5 mins walk away. We will definitely be returning and will recommend to family and friends. well done cinco plaza 10/10More

Great location and friendly and helpful staff.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday and had a fantastic time. The apartments were clean and staff were very friendly. The pool area was cleaned everyday and always had a lifeguard on duty. They are also in a fantastic location - 5 mins walk to beach and shops. Although it is up a steep hill we did not find this a problem. We have an 11 month old baby and we quickly got use to it. Overall a great place for families. More

Good Location

just returned from one weeks stay had a lovely time. Apartments large and very clean in fact the whole complex was very well kept. maid service was good and staff were friendly and helpul. Three good swimming pools with plenty of sunbeds. A short walk downhill to the beach and shops and bars would recommend this complex to friends and hopefully will get to return next year.More

Not so convenient for cyclists

Having requested a ground floor appt because we were renting bikes and needed to store them safe, we were disappointed to be given a 2nd floor appt, we also had to wheel the bikes around the blocks even though there was a gate right next to our appt block, but this was locked and the staff would not assist. Be aware you have to pay extra for lots of things, safe, wifi, ( wifi is free all over town) the safe is in such a difficult place on the floor of the wardrobe you have to be quite nimble and fir to use it. Our appt wasn't too clean either, I forgot my slippers and the soles of my feet were permanently filthy from the floor! Great supermarket about 100 yards from the apartments, fab fresh bread etc. etc. get your drinks from in town though quite a bit cheaper. Didn't eat here as there is so much choice in town, just be on the lookout for overcharging some prices don't match what they state in their menus. Shop around for beer prices too you can get a pint for about 1.50€. It's cheaper to eat breakfast out too rather than buy stuff to make your own, look out for breakfasts that include the coffee or tea, we had a coffee one day and we could have had 2 full breakfasts for a few euros more! We may return but Cinco need to work with their guests and provide a few extras like wifi, free safe. More

Looking forward to returning this yr :)

Stayed at the Cinco Plaza June 2013 with my husband & 3 boys. Apartments basic but very clean overlooking a lovely pool. Was lovely to see lifeguards at all the pools in the apartments. All the staff extremely friendly. It's located a couple mins walk from beach & main strip (full of decently priced & tasty restaurants & bars). 2 very good supermarkets beside the Cinco. We hired out a car which worked out a lot cheaper than booking the tours and was amazing to see all sites. Have booked The Cinco Plaza again this yr & we are really looking forward to it :)More
