Great location very good value for money. Only thing that was a pain was getting bed changed. I was on holiday with my sister and husband where there cleaner was great mine wasn't. My sister's bedding was changed twice in the week and I had to go to reception and ask for mine to be changed, receptionist phoned cleaner and she said it had been changed the day before and it definitely was not so recptionist told her to go and change it. So my bed was changed once because I had requested it. There is a mop and sweeping brush in room so I wasn't that bothered the cleaning it was the bed changes. So seems to be pot luck some very good cleaners shame one or two let them down. I would definitely go back.More
another lovely holiday
We have had our 3rd holiday at the Cinco Plazas (from 7th - 21st June), we had a great time as usual, we cannot fault the hotel at all, everyone is so helpful. We stay self catering so I cannot comment on the food. The rooms are always clean and I had emailed the hotel to request a first floor room with a view of the sea, and as always they gave us a perfect one. The Hyper Dino supermarket that is approximately 50 yards away has everything you could wish for, and their fresh bread is fantastic, although they have a small shop attached to the reception area that has a decent selection. We have always loved our holidays here but we have two gripes this year. Not only were people reserving sunbeds with towels (and then disappearing for the whole day) but some guests were putting towels down on the floor where they wanted to sit! It was crazy, you had to be up early so when the sunbeds were unlocked at 9.00am the floor was covered in beach towels. I have never seen anything like it, although the inconsiderate guests who put towels on beds then didnt return until late afternoon then proceeded to remove towels because they didnt want to use the sunbeds, its so unfair and so annoying! The other little gripe is the WiFi, we think 6 euro a day is a bit steep, Apart from those niggles we had a lovely time and would gladly recommend the Cinco Plazas.More

Bargain Break in Lanzarote
We booked this trip about 5weeks before travel. Paid under 1k for family of 4. Having read reviews we went with realistic expectations. stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Self catering. THE GOOD Location - 5 mins downhill to beachfront /shops/restaurants 3 pools and 1 kids pool Thomson rep's on hand daily lifeguards on duty 10-6pm keeping pool safe (altho they were a little too strict sometimes) Good sized room plenty storage space Pool snack bar was reasonable and good food. THE NIGGLES Beds were really uncomfortable Apartments very dated and grubby in parts. kitchenette very limited. Didn't matter to us as we ate out. No air con Pool was too deep. I'm 5'3" and could barely stand up apart from at the edge. THE BAD the "sunbed scramble". It was totally crazy each morning everyone putting towels on floor until sunbeds unlocked At 9. Not a huge area round main pool for sumbeds so end up VERY squashed in. Have to admit we did join the madness otherwise we wouldn't have got a space at all. We knew what to expect and for the price we were very happy and had a great time. We probably wouldnt go back to this hotel (unless it was updated and the sunbed situation addressed) esp in peak season as was too busy as it was and not even school holidays. The resort has lots of nice restaurants and the beach is great. Kids especially loved the inflatable assault course in the sea.More

Towels round poolside.
We enjoy our holidays here, this being our third time, dont like being told were you can and carn't put your sunbed, and then when they started putting towels down round the pool before the sunbed were unlocked, that was the final straw, somewhere else next year,it really is a beautiful place, all the staff are always freindly and will try to help you in anyway they can.More
Amazing family holiday
Stayed here for two weeks at cinco plaza and myself husband and 2 children had a wonderful time. beach and strip 10 min walk yes there is a steep hill but was managable. Food at the hotel resteraunt was good highly recomend the pizzas!!! Dont bother with the half board option though we won a free buffet and was not impressed with it!!! The a la carte however was fine. Drinks are a rip off â¬2.80 for a glass of coke! There is a supermarket next door and a lot lot cheaper! For a 3 star hotel entertainment is as you would expect kids disco water polo darts pool etc. There are only a couple of things i would like to suggest to the hotel for improvement: * staff in resteraunt are too quick to clean up after meal its almost like they watch you can be uncomfortable *reduce drink prices *i had 4 maintenance issues in my room Yes they were dealt with but 4 in 1 room?? Just got irritating having to keep complaining *thomson reps quick to welcome you in blue thomson bus and quick to sell you trips at meeting Yet after that meeting they do not interact with customers and they dont even escort you to the coach and say goodbye or even advise you what to do or where to go at the airport And you get a tin can if a bus picking you back up Overall though thumbs up and ill def be back next yearMore
