Holiday in Canaries
Stayed at Cinco Plazas the week before Xmas. The apartment was a very generous size with balcony overlooking one of 3 pools. Everything u need is in the room fridge kettle toaster coffee maker microwave . But no hairdryer so had to go out a bit windswept ! U r able to hire one though. Rooms cleaned regularly and towels and sheets changed too. Staff at reception desk were v helpful with queries etc. We were self catering but were able to buy breakfasts and evening meals if needed. The apartments are just off the main strip about half way along so in a very good position and u r not able to hear any noise from the many bars and restaurants nearby. Would stay here again. More
Lovely complex, nice reception staff, easy check in-check out. 15 mins from airport and we checked in with no hassles. The complex is lovely and caters for all age groups. Rooms were comfortable enough and cleaned twice during our stay. Our bed linen was never changed, however this was not a problem as it wasn't too hot during our stay. Would probably like a change if staying mid season due to sun cream etc. Restaurant was simple yet lovely. Pools were sparkling clean and lifeguards very attentive and do a grand job. Great location and you can stroll down the street and along the main strip, which felt very safe. Mainly pubs and restaurant with a few boogie spots. Supermarket a few stones throw away with a nice deli that sells fillet steak, chicken, feta cheese and various meats etc. Would defo return again and recommend for a nice chilled holiday.More
Perfect last minute get away
Me and my partner booked this last minute package holiday in July, being last minute it was cheap so we wasnt expecting much but it was incredible ! The coach stopped at the Cinco Plaza last and was about a 20 minute journey from the airport, our room was big and clean and the two beds being put together as a double is awkward as i kept falling down the middle but i really couldn't care less at the time i was just having a great time. We went down the strip for breakfast in the mornings because the view was excellent and refreshing every morning and was so cheap everywhere ! we had looked on google earth at the area to see what it was like before we booked it and it looked fine but its much better than it looked it was so lively and buzzin you wont get bored for ages. The beaches are so beautiful clean and the water is really clear i was really impressed, we walked down for about 10 minutes to the Playa Blanca beach and had a go on the jetskis it was 50 euros each and they so all sorts of water sport down there. We walked upto the shopping centre close by, waste of time though as theres not much going on down there no markets or anything special just normal commercial shops we got a cab straight back as my partner had a bad leg and cost like 3.50 euros so the cabs are cheap local. at night the strip is amazing and had the best time drinking and dancing with the good music and the girls are all so lovely who serve you all the men outisde (promotors) are so hard to get away from you have to walk on the other side of the road sometimes but became familiar over the holiday and they are actually very nice and anyway was a great holiday will love to go back so much more to do there to so dont hesitate, go for it.More

These apartments are situated halfway up a rather steep hill, we found them to be clean and tidy with all the basics that you need but I could imagine them to be quite warm in summer without air conditioning, staff at Chinco Plazas are very good and will do anything they can to help you have a good holiday. The apartments are very well positioned for the beach, bars and restaurants with a well stocked Hiperdino supermarket next door, they also sell fresh, warm crusty bread throughout the day but it is best at 8.30 in the morning. Just one word of warning! Many people on this site state that upper floor apartments are best, and I agree, but be careful if the steps are wet as they become very slippy, as you open your door you are at the top of a flight of nineteen steps, my wife slipped and hit almost all of them on the way down but the rain was not the fault of the hotel but please be careful.More

Very nice hotel. Short walk to the beach and restaurants.
Quiet hotel, good service. Try to book a room with balcony, if you want the afternoon sun, The Plaza del Sol, is the best section. Good food in the hotel restaurant. Small supermarket in the hotel. Good rent-a-car deals in the hotel.More
