We have just returned from a weeks' break (14th-21st May) at this hotel. We booked "Deluxe All Inclusive" and from beginning to end this really was fabulous! The hotel staff couldn't be more helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and nothing was too much trouble! The food was lovely, the hotel itself is well maintained and we certainly didn't "feel superior" to other guests just because of the Deluxe booking. Our spacious room had maid service every day which was lovely. We will definitely return to this hotel, the location is absolutely perfect and we couldn't ask for more!More
We very much enjoyed our stay here. My friend and I were in two separate rooms overlooking the pool at the back of the property.
We checked in smoothly and were offered a glass of sparkling wine by the duty manager, a nice touch.
The rooms are spacious, although I found the bed very hard. I was provided with a mattress topper and that did the trick. The bathroom is a good size and you are provided with shower gel shampoo and soap. The hairdryer is 1200w so powerful enough.
The food was average, but plentiful.
The evening entertainment was outstanding, on the three nights that we attended. South Africans, Motown tribute and Diva shows absolutely fantastic.
A lovely holiday and I would recommend this hotel. More

We stayed for 1 week, all-inclusive. Chose the deluxe option which offered better food for breakfast and evening meal, I think this was worth doing. The hotel is located in-between the town and the marina which suited us, and looks out onto the sea. The staff for the most part were friendly and efficient. All in all a pleasant stay and we would certainly consider staying here again.More
Could be amazing!
Really enjoyed our week here before hopping over to corralejo. Our room was at the front of the hotel facing the sea on the ground floor, overlooking the gardens. It was tastefully furnished, with easy-on-the-eye colours. It was a good size for two people. There's plenty of storage and a good bathroom with a small bath and hairdryer. Shower gel and shampoo were replenished as necessary, and the towels were huge and fluffy. Room was cleaned every day to a good standard. Pool towels are available for 20⬠deposit, and a euro to change each time.
There were always plenty of sun beds available, but be aware that some areas are reserved for 'deluxe' residents. We felt this was a shame and divisive. 'Deluxe' guests also had their own reception, lounge and restaurant. In terms of improvement, I'd rather the Dorada aimed to be a good 4* hotel in every sense and let those who want 5* luxury go next door to the Yaiza. I discussed this with other guests who felt the same. There is a lovely pool at the back of the hotel which is much quieter, with no 'out of bounds' areas. We preferred it. There is also a wellness centre but we didn't use it.
The breakfast was excellent, with a good range of hot and cold food. We never had to wait for a table.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location equidistant between playa blanca and rubicon marina.
For me to return, they'd have to lose the decisive ethos, and maybe opt to provide superior rooms for those who want them.
