An introduction to Sun Island

Located in a quiet area of Playa Blanca, the Sun Island has views of the Rubicon Vulcanoes. With four heated swimming pools to chose from you certainly won't be stuck for a place to splash, add to this the nearby beach and you are all set for a holiday based around the pool and beach. There are plenty of activities to keep you occupied or, if pampering is more your thing a sauna, massage and spa treatments are all available. You will have the choice of staying in either studio apartments or self-catering apartments, but with a restaurant and a supermarket on site you will be well catered for either way.

Children will enjoy spending time at the kids' club and early suppers, a children's menu and cots and highchairs make things easy for parents.

The resort centre is a long stroll if you are feeling fit but easily accessible by taxi. For a fascinating day out and a chance to visit a volcano, head to the Timanfaya National Park.
