Pros and Cons, mostly Pros
Me and my boyfriend, 20 year olds from England, stayed in an apartment for a week. Overall: -BOOZE WAS GOOD! -TWO great balconies -Premises very clean, cleaners were very thorough (they did come knocking while we were still in bed before 9am, we are on holiday so deserve a lie in!) -Staff were very friendly and helpful, their fluency in English was amazing! Although one particular young member of staff was perving a bit on the women.. -Apartment was spacious and simple, although our "double" room was two single beds pushed together which is slightly annoying. -Pool was lovely, poolside bar with lunch was great. Facilities overall were great, just need to walk further into the town for a bit of night life. -Breakfast and lunch were really good; however, tea did not provide much variety and food was rather luke warm. We went into town for tea for the majority of the week! -Most chilled out and relaxed atmosphere! Overall I would highly recommend a stay here, just would give the food a miss!More
Brilliant! 3rd visit!
Just returned from our annual holiday, 3rd year at Blue bay, cant seem to pull ourselves away from this hotel, it has everything you need, and is in the perfect location! We love this place it's always clean, food is good, drinks are amazing, staff are very friendly, and work so so hard! Big shout out to Carlos, he made my little girl laugh every single day. She didn't want to leave. Was so nice returning to the hotel for the 3rd year we was recognised and got "welcomed home" which was lovely, and made you feel your custom was remembered! The only slight criticism is again in my last review, the sun beds! The dreaded morning rush to get your beds! I understand this is a busy hotel, and they have ungraded some of the beds, (which are great!) this year which I did think was good, was a man was chucking towels to the side of people reserving sun beds. It made it fair, it wasn't a big issue for us, we went to breakfast 2 by 2, and sat with the sun beds, what I did feel was wrong was people having sun beds for children when they're are kids club, or in the pool all day. I don't know how the hotel can get around that, but I feel people shouldn't be so selfish, and think of others as there are not enough sun beds when the hotel is busy. Enough of the moaning, the pool has been redone and is now really nice, and warmer than the past 2 years, though it's a little slippery when you enter so you do need to hold on! The rooms are spacious, and cleaned everyday apart from Wednesdays, big shout out to the cleaning staff too! Always see how hard you work, and never get enough credit! Big shout out to Pascal on reception, always so helpful and kind !!! We are already looking to book again next year! See you then !!! Thanks again !! :) More
