Well worth the money
Only negative thing with our stay was the air con kept playing up. But that was a one off with our room, everyone else we met didnt have an issue. Even though it might look costly you've gotta think, you get to watch the gigs throughout the week as well. Which most people would pay admission for if they stayed elsewhere anyway. Its well worth booking a room with a stage view but not essential if you're on a budget. Everyone is there for the same reason so its easier enough to get on with everyone.More
Sociable hotel in a good location
I stayed at Ibiza Rocks hotel in August 2016 with 2 of my friends. Although the holiday we had was epic and we would return to Ibiza rocks hotel, there are several factors as to why I would rate the hotel average based on this trip alone... First of all... upon drop off by the coach, we were confused that the coach dropped us off a couple of streets away and the Spanish driver gave us no directions on how to get there. (We just asked a couple of tourists who were very helpful and directed us easily) When we checked in, around Midday, we were asked to provide a deposit each for the room key cards, in case of loss. (We didn't lose them so got our money back) We weren't given our room until after 4pm as this is normal check in time. We never read this anywhere, but we took it on the chin as it was clearly something we over looked. There was a luggage room so we left our bags in there and went out for a bite to eat. We went back just after 4pm to check in and we're still being told that the cleaners were not finished. When it got to 5pm and still no room we were slightly agitated so I spoke to one of the English speaking reps who was more than helpful in sorting our room and as a gesture of goodwill gave us a free safety deposit box and free air con for our stay (oh yeah, air con is an extra charge by the way but well worth having) Once the room was sorted everything went pretty swimmingly from there. Our room overlooked the main pool and from our balcony we got to see All saints rehearse one evening and so solid crew another. There is another pool around the other side, smaller and more chilled with a pool bar. This was where we would go in the day when we wanted to laze around It's a very sociable hotel so if you don't want people trying to make friends with you and want to keep yourself to yourself, somewhere else may be a better choice. We loved it though and have kept in contact with some people we met. Drinks were pretty damn expensive at the hotel so I'd recommend buying your own from one of the little shops nearby and drinking them in your room before going out ! The food at the hotel was very nice but again a little pricey. Plenty of places nearby to eat. We chose a couple of little cafe's around the corner that served burgers, pizzas, wraps etc fairly cheap and decent portions Plenty to do within Ibiza as I'm sure you're aware. The reps everywhere seemed to be offering the same deals for the clubs and shows but it would be worth having a look around and comparing prices just to check! If you don't fancy the big clubs though theres a main strip, about a 5 minute walk away from the hotel that has loads of bars and small clubs with lots of drinks deals on!!! Now I'm aware of how the hotel works etc, i'd definitely love to go back here as I had an absolutely amazing time and met some wonderful people!!!!!!!! I'd recommend it More
Great first time around, not so good the second
I loved Ibiza Rocks when I went two years ago, but last year was a different story. The entertainment was cancelled inside the hotel, at pool, due to noise pollution, which didn't really make sense to me in Ibiza. For this we were offered a cheap buffet lunch which was inedible, they could had made an effort to give us some nice lunch, seen as the main attraction was gone. I would be hesitant to return again. I'd advise the hotel to up it's standards, before loosing more customers!More
Good party hotel
Stayed here for a week and it's got to be the best party hotel in San An. We were in a double and the room was a good size. Beds were made every day and towels changed every other day. We noticed that the fridge did go off when we left the room which is unusual but we were given two key cards so just left one in. Perfect location not too far from the westend and the beach. Free access to gigs and pool parties is a massive bonus. Was able to see Yungen and Craig David. As can be imagined the atmosphere in the hotel is very loud and people are drunk 24/7 if this isn't for you then look elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again!More
Great hotel, with amazing acts to top off the holiday!
Great party hotel! We had two new rooms that were newly refurbished and were always clean throughout our stay. Had everything needed in the room apart from a kettle which we wanted for hot water. We paid extra for the AC but was worth it as the rooms get really stuffy otherwise. The acts that were included in the price really made our stay at the hotel amazing, especially the Kaiser Chiefs and of course Craig David! Looking to return again this year.More
