Fun Hotel

Stayed here back in July with some friends Hotel is pretty central, walking distance to the beach and the west end. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue, probably won't stay here again on that basis. Great for seeing bands and always something going onMore

Good lively atmosphere - shabby hotel rooms!

Right in the centre for the action. We had a balcony view room for the weekly gig that was a great experience. The music/DJs that played around the pool in the day was awesome to. Hotel itself is like 2/3 star... Basic! But we weren't in the room a lot so that wasn't an issue. One letdown of this hotel is the fact u cnt drink ur own drink around the pool... Not even a bottle of water fm the shop! If they see you drink it out ur bag they take it of u.,,, so basically unless u can be bothered going up to your room every time u need a drink.... Ur paying well over the odds for drinks at the pool bar! Our room was on the top floor, and when it's hot and your hungover... Tracking up the stairs every time your thirsty is not ideal! So we ended up drinking at the bar all day and this did bump up the cost of are time in ibiza! For this reason I wouldn't go again! Since I've been to better hotels - for the same price but all inclusive, over in San Antonio bay. Basically here your just paying for the name!More

Name says it all

The name says it all, Ibiza rocks is a party hotel, and it does it well. Located on the west side of Ibiza, San Antonio, the famous Cafe Del Mar is walking distance (15mins) and the perfect place for a Spanish Sunset. The club and bar district is also a short walk away (10mins), as well as pick up points for the club bus' that network the other feature clubs around the island. We had a penthouse suite, balcony was huge and the view was good. Room was decent, pretty basic The hotels pool area is huge, and the party starts at midday everyday and does not stop til late. Wednesday nights the pool area packs out for a big name international dj, and the atmosphere is awesome. Ibiza Rocks and San Antonio is very popular with the English crowd, but we had no issues (I'm Australian). Plenty of colourful characters to be found. Security is pretty strict at Ibiza Rocks, guests only, so if you make friends you're going to have a tough time showing them any hospitality ;-) Good times, good hotelMore

Started off bad

Well, when we arrived we were told we had been moved to the ibiza rocks hostel, so we had to go down the street to the hostel. Here we were told we were not allowed to check in till 8 am when it was 4 am. So we waited for four hours to then be told they had made a mistake and we actually were in the ibiza rocks hotel. We were extremely disappointed and tired. However, we were given free air conditioning which was actually very helpful. Make sure you put your bed sheets in the bath otherwise they will not even touch them, nor will they clean if they aren't in there. However, the pool area was always busy and had music, with a good atmosphere. It is expensive, and it would be better if the rooms were cleaned more often.More

Absolute dive!

What can I say.... Stayed for a week long break in July with my bf and couldn't wait to get out of the kip ibiza rocks claim to be their "apartments". Having booked the holiday being told it was the hotel we arrived last week to be told it was the apartments which were located up the road. When we arrived the guy at reception had very poor English, couldn't handle the booking and gave the wrong change for the deposit (not even a calculator on hand to help him behind the desk) .... The room we stayed in could only be described as a brothel.... Absolutely filthy.... Manky floor, stained bed sheets..... The door onto the balcony had a steel bar holding it closed. Went to ask a rep to change to the hotel... Was feck all help, gave us a fake name to refer our complaint to the next morning, didn't want anything to do with us.I'm getting too angry to even continue to write the review.... Just do yourself a favour and DO NOT book to stay here. Had been to ibiza two years in a row before this and had a ball..... But based on our experience this year I won't be back for a time, complete disaster!More
