This hotel takes you to Ibiza’s tranquil side. Here you get a great pool, and you’re just footsteps from a sandy beach.
This whitewashed, three-storey hotel is in a beautiful bay, surrounded by mountains and pine trees. It’s right on a sand-and-pebble beach, and there are bars and restaurants five minutes' walk away.
There’s a big lagoon pool with views over the bay. And you get similarly grand views from the high-up buffet restaurant. At night, there are live performances, with everything from hypnotists to parrot shows.

Great for families and first time abroaders
I visited here with my two boys for our first time abroad together. Food great You have to pay for not very good wifi. Pool great. Beach lovely. Staff nice. Sun beds easy to get every day. Evening entertainment was hilarious however can be very noisy until early hours More
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
I stayed at San Miguel Beach Club last May with my 2 girls (9&2) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was the first time we had been to Ibiza and also our first time going all inclusive so didn't know what to expect. We were originally put on the top floor, but the following morning, reception very kindly moved us to the ground floor. The food was nice, we were all quite happy to eat there and tried the Chinese in the sister restaurant. The kids club was really good and the girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Thompson reps were lovely and very approachable. My now 10 year old enjoyed herself so much she asked to go back there this year so we are flying out on Friday.More

Family suited hotel in quieter end of Ibiza
We stayed here as a Family of 5 (3 teenagers) in mid August 2016. This was our first time in Ibiza This hotel is located at the Puerto San Miguel (North part of the Island). Ibiza Town is about ½ hour away by bus (E2,80 each way), around 20 minutes by Car, as is San Antonio Car hire was around E50 /day for a Ford Fiesta Hotel was listed by Thomson as the San Miguel Hotel and is in reality the Cartago Hotel. [This can be confusing when you are dropped off late at night !] Puerto San Miguel is a family friendly beach, around 200m wide, three rows of sun-beds and plenty of additional space. It is at the end of a valley and the Cartago/ SanMiguel Beach club complex is built onto one side of the cliff. The Cartago has 8 floors. Floor 8 is reception, the main restaurant (air conditioned, buffet style) & a small bar. We were on floor 7 and there was some noise (scrapping of chairs being moved) at the end of the evening & early morning. Hotel is fine for it's type. usual issue with people "reserving" sunbeds at 7am and not turning up until mid afternoon (one British family turned up at 4pm and were very annoyed that their towels were moved( they should be ashamed of themselves) . most people staying a couple of hours before moving on.... sorry "rant" over... There are some nice, nearby walks & boat trips. The local area is probably more suited to families with younger children. The highlight of the holiday for us was probably hiring a car. we could get into Ibiza Town & San Antonio at night (very lively is probably the best description).More
Value for money
Let me preface my review by stating that I am not an all-inclusive holiday lover. For me there was a distinct lack of things I wanted to do but I try not to lose sight of the fact that I would 100% rather be in the glorious sunshine on a beautiful beach than at work. This was a week's family escape. The hotel is basic. The rooms are basic, sparsely decorated but functional and clean although the daily mopping did leave a sticky residue over the floor. The food provided was varied, though basic and probably the same quality as my childhood school lunches. We are not food connoisseurs or picky eaters so this was just fine by us. We made good use of the table tennis tables and did lounge around by the pool and partake in the quizzes and darts tournaments. There is a beach towel reservation system in use around the pool! The bay of San Miguel itself is absolutely beautiful and my most enjoyable moments were spent in the sea though the town boasts very little and is not brilliantly connected with the rest of Ibiza. Overall it was an enjoyable stay that was great value for money.More
