Good hotel - perfect location
Stayed here the second week of July with my boyfriend for 7 days. Beach is a matter of feet away, with an card entry and exit. Check in - Quick and efficient. We arrived at 12pm so our room wasn't ready until 14.30, this wasn't an issue as you are allowed to use the hotel facilities as soon as you have your all inclusive wrist band. We checked in with Rosa who had limited English however did her best to be as informative as possible. Room - The room was spacious and decorated well. The rooms was cleaned everyday the only thing I would say is one bottle of water didn't go very far. We were in room 6304 in the Picasso building which had a perfect view of the sea andpool area. Only issue was the salt water showers, I couldn't get use to it and it dryed out my skin on my face. WiFi - We had no issues with the WiFi throughout the hotel and also worked well in the room. Dining - Buffet had plenty of options and food was very good. The Al carte restaurant was top notch make sure you get a seat outside on the terrace. Snack bar was open throughout the day if you got peckish throughout meals. Bars pool bar opens at 10.00 - 1800 everyday, the ladies on there were lovely and quick at serving. Stage bar got busy during the entertainment but again staff were quick and efficient. Lobby bar we avoided due to an foul sewage smell around this area which was extremely off putting. Self service Amstel beer and wine fonts in snack bar and main buffet restaurant. I wouldn't recommend ordering cocktails these were basic. So you would expect staff to know how to make them however they didn't, I had 4 cocktails during my stay all of a poor standard. The spirits they use aren't great but it is what it is, just don't expect to feel anything. They free pour enormous measures and you still don't taste any alcohol. Staff - Staff were great, very attentive and polite. Especially Ariana & Daniel on the reception desk, there customer service was superb. Anamation team - Work hard to keep everyone entertained, they are not too pushy if you just want to sit back and relax. Fabio is a real credit to the hotel and keeps everything under control, he's amazing! Unfortunately we found Bridget slightly annoying and cringe worthy, out of all of the four reps she definitely was the one who tried too hard and was unprofessional at times. Location - Great location, five minute walk and your on the strip with plenty of clubs, bars and shops. You wouldn't think all of that is round the corner as the hotel is relatively quiet. Very close to the airport so you get planes flying over all the time but after a day or so we didn't even notice it. All in all a good hotel with perfect location I would recommend and will definitely be returning. More
Sadly, the stay that my friend and I had was far from a premier (or platinum) 4* hotel as advertised by First Choice and Thomson (however this is not the Hotel Club Bahamas fault as this is down to the advertising of the companies above, which I will be taking further directly with them). The hotel is definitely a 3* (at the most). On arrival (at 1am in the morning) we were checked in and greeted with some food (although it wasn't great as such, it was much appreciated). The outdoor bar was still open, so we thought we would have a drink....it was the bar that you had to pay for your drinks. We explained that we had just arrived, but we were pretty much dismissed. We could have paid for them, but out of principle we didn't and we decided to head to our room for a decent night sleep. The room....Cigarette ash on the balcony, stains on the blanket and a floor so dirty, it looked as though I had been walking barefoot outside. Not the best first impression! On the plus side, the aircon in the room did work well and we did get a good night sleep as the beds were comfy. Watch out for the very small step that leads to the balcony once you open the doors...no warnings of this (surprised that passed health and safely). The room was cleaned daily, except for the day the towels were removed and not replaced (along with not supplying the daily water bottle due to the salt water). I spoke to reception about this, which they said would be actioned, but when we returned to the room, only part had been actioned, so back to the reception we went. There was a large selection of food on offer at meal times, which I would say was of average standard (definitely not a 4* platinum as advertised/sold...but I had to keep reminding myself, that in actual fact it wasn't). Drinks included in the all inclusive package....local, sugary not so nice alcoholic drinks, nor was there a wide selection (on several occasions I asked for a cava sangria as advertised but was told 'no'...if that's the case, don't advertise it). We ate in the a la carte restaurant on our last night (we almost didn't as we were told it was fully booked during our stay, to which we pointed out that it was included). The food was better than the buffet restaurant, but there were no vegetarian alternatives (if you are) and they didn't cater for allergies (my friend has a fish allergy)...so sadly she had to skip some of the courses. The service in general was mediocre...the cleaners were very pleasant, along with a lady behind the reception (sadly I can not remember her name) and Ben....both very helpful and friendly. The bar staff in general were not the happiest or politest of people, nor were the waitresses in the a la carte restaurant. I wouldn't come back here sadly and have been left very disappointed (I'm glad we were only there for a 4 night break!) however, everyone has their own opinion and as per other reviews, there are good reviews along with the not so good. If you want a 4* platinum hotel, this isn't the place to stay....but this is something that I will be speaking to the tour operator about. More
So i was abit worries before arrival as thomsons states its a 4* when infact its a 3* hotel. However im mistaken to be thinking this. Hotel waz clean and located near lots of shops and bars. Lots of variety of food and were deff not cold. If you miss breakfast then there is always food availble by the pool snack bar. Bugers sandwhich hot food, fruit. Good variety. The bus for the old town leaves right in fro t the hotel or u can take a taxi (be aware they do try and over charge) and its def worth visiting. Beach towls were €10 deposit. And you have to pay for the safe also. Beach is lovely but sun loungers are €10 each and €10 for the umbrella. Pool is usually more ideal, but can be loud from all the ppl at the bar. The con waa they let ppl with drinks sit by the pool which i found rhat made the water dirty, and annimation needed to liven up as i saw fashion shows through my 1 week stay (during the day) I wouldnt suggest this hotel for those seeking a quiet time as it get loud from all the pre drink. So alot of early 20'S when we stayed. Hotel staff are friendly and were very happy to help. I wasnt happy with the thomson reps this year as they seem to only sell and not solve a problem when one rises. However thats something else. I would also like to add that u can access the hard rock rooftop bar and its got an amazing view and atmosphere. Must see. Overall i was really happy with this hotel and had a great time in ibiza. Just want to thank the hotel and staff for creating such a relaxed atmosphere and were always happy to help. And resolved any issues. More

When we first arrived we had to wait for our room so we had a look around and I thought mmm ok.....we were given a pool view room which was a pleasant surprise and the room was good size with good size bathroom. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and we had no probs with air con, cleaners do fab job!! Food was good selection in main restaurant for meal times and for nearly every meal there was a member of management asking guests how everything was. Also snack bar to side of restaurant with good selection 10-6 for those not wanting meal. Self service for soft drinks, beer n wine at both. Many meals had champagne too which the hotel provided on the all Inc which is a suprise and fresh cocktails made at pool bar which was a pleasant suprise!! All Inc runs to midnight but private bar open until 2 which was quite reasonably priced. Pool always seemed to have enough beds even when busy and pool bar staff always had bar under control even when busy so never had to wait too long. Entertainment staff of 3 or 4 playing games and music throughout the day. Must say he had a fab stay......lovely not to have little kids running about and not too many groups of big kids to put up with lol. Would recommend this hotel and would use again!!More
No air conditioning in this day and age , unbelievable
Bang average hotel . Sewage smell in lobby isn't great start . Biggest problem is the air conditioning . After 4 visits to reception someone finally arrived to check it out and says it is working . Well possibly it makes a whirring noise and there is a tiny draft but the room is 25 degrees !! Nobody cares really . If your thinking of coming here , please reconsider . It is certainly not a platinum hotel , handy for the clubs and nothing else . Seen a couple in reception today asking about going home early , don't blame themMore
