Club Bahamas

This place gets full marks for location – with a sandy beach and the best of Playa d’en Bossa’s bars and clubs on tap.

This hotel had a makeover in 2014 – and it comes with a great postcode, too. You’re right on a sandy beach, and 10 minutes’ walk gets you to the centre of town with plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.

This place has a big pool, with a bar on the side and a kids' pool at one end. Food is taken care of at the buffet restaurant and snack bar, while relaxation comes courtesy of the spa.

Excellent holiday.

Stayed here in October school holidays and we really loved it. Superb location, beach at end of the garden, great walks in the hills beyond the beach, safe swimming , bus stop to Ibiza town just outside. Hotel is spotless, food great , drinks fine and always available ,rooms large and modern. The beach club at the end of Garden on the beach is great for music and atmosphere. Location for Clubbers would be great in high season , but might make it noisy. Very quiet at night . Staff so friendly and helpful . High point for me was the restaurant and the high quality food, and the beach on the doorstep. Would definitely return.More

Club Bahamas Ibiza

One of my bucket list items was to party in Ibiza... wow the location of the Club Bahamas was second to none .. out of the all inclusive complex on to the beach and into the crystal clear sea.. The Ushuaia and Hard Rock Hotel next door for the live show showground... Perfect.. I paid for the brand names spirits and a very good price for them too. The food was absolutely fantastic fabulous selection and the head chef extremely accommodating. The food choice was far superior to that of a regular 5* hotel in the canaries I frequent. Why I haven't gone to ibiza and the Club Bahamas before now I don't know ? amazing location amazing holiday ... Thank you ...See you again soon Club Bahamas ...More

Amazing food and mojitos included

Stayed here for one week all inclusive with my friend for a relaxing break the first week of October. Was my first time all inclusive and wasn't sure what to expect but it was gorgeous. Each day a different food would appear and I loved it all especially the fish which actually melted in my mouth. You could also book into a steak restaurant upstairs and we had two evenings here with a massive steak that frankly could have fed four. As it was towards the end of the season there were more older people around which suited us but it was still busy. Being first off the coach on the transfer and last back on was a dream. You did see a lot of planes being so close to the flight path but you quickly get used to them. Most drinks were included in all inclusive but there were a few cocktails that you had to pay for but only a few euros each and given the mojitos were free I was very happy. There was also a house white, red and rose and I tried the white and rose and both were palatable. There was a gorgeous chocolate fountain each evening with dinner and lots of fruit available at each meal. I especially loved breakfast. Bottles of water were handed out all day for free. You could have omelettes to order and also pancakes as well as more traditional friend foods and plenty of ham and cheese type things with amazing breads. The staff were very courteous and were always willing to help. We were given a lovely room in the block nearest to the gate that led on to the playa d'en bossa beach and it had a side sea view which was relaxing. The only down side to this was that immediately through the gate and not owned by the hotel was a large shack type place with no windows hence when the music started you could every beat. I am not sure if it was a regular weekly thing or because all the clubs were closing the first week of October but the Sunday night was horrendous and it was like having a disco in our own room until 3am. I did have to complain about it the next day but there was little they could do as it was not a hotel complex and normally they tell me that the Police tell them to turn it down. On the Monday we did the spirit of Ibiza tour through Thomson and though this was pricey it was a fab trip and well worth it to have a whistle stop tour of Ibiza island. The sun loungers were comfortable and I did find myself placing a towel on them which I never select the one that had the sun the longest due to the sun going down at 6pm ish. I am not a clubber but if I had been this was a perfect location to go and see the various clubs. Buses run over the whole island and there are special night buses in the peak season to ferry clubbers around. We got a bus into Ibiza Old town on the Sunday and had a nice walk around by the harbour and to the top of the lookout which takes a little while but is on a good gradual gradient. All in all this was a lovely late season break and I was pleasantly surprised. I flew from Exeter which again added to the ease of the holiday though a 6am flight out means a sleepless night before with a 4am check in. I would definitely return to this hotel though if I was going before the end of the club season I would ask a few more questions about the beach shack music as if this was a regular thing it would be very disruptive - believe me ear plugs only muffled it a bit and the bed was vibrating through the noise! Weather was great on 5/7 days and I returned with a nice tan. I'm more used to city breaks than I am lying around on a sun lounger but I needed a rest and this was exactly what the doctor ordered.More

Fun Holiday & Convenient Location

The hotel had been refurbished this year and classed as a Thomson Platinum, I am not sure I would class it as this but is very good. We travelled as couple but still wanted nightlife so hotel was a perfect choice. The transfer to the hotel is very quick but the downside to this is that it’s on the flight path which means constant aeroplanes passing over. This does not affect me as im a deep sleeper but can affect light sleepers like my other half. The champagne/orange juice on arrival is a nice touch but needed to get you through the mayhem of a bus load of people arriving at same time. The first room we got allocated was a nightmare, very clean and modern looking but on a ground floor with no balcony. It looked onto a huge old fence and was very claustrophobic as it had no window. It was very long and dark. We complained immediately and got moved to a much better room, further down the complex, 1st floor with a very very large balcony. This was ideal as we could see the pool but far enough away to not listen to all the hustle and bustle of people at the pool. The décor is extremely nice and modern throughout. We had a severed ant infestation but called reception and they sent someone around very quickly to put spray down. The air con in the room is practically non-existent, we complained about this and someone came around to have a look but we were advised that it was working fine and that it isn’t powerful. It looks like 2 vents on the wall that’s supposed to blow air out but could barely feel anything coming out. Apparently this is centrally controlled for full block and that’s what everyone’s was like. The wifi was practically non existent if you moved out with the main reception. The food in hotel is excellent and a very large choice. Anyone who complains must be extremely fussy. I did have a bit of a run in with one of the male show cooks at breakfast as i asked him to keep my omelette in a little longer. He was obviously stressed with how busy it was and started shouting at me saying 'i am the chef not you, i will do what i want'. Hes lucky I was in a good mood and just said 'okay' to him and didnt bother reporting him. The next day he saw me getting breakfast and apologised, he seemed in a better mood. The snack bar is constantly being replenished and always a choice if you get hungry throughout the day. The pool bar is help yourself to beer/wine/soft drinks which is very convenient as well as a choice of other drinks/cocktails from the waiter. The toilets at the pool area are disgusting, I went in twice and nearly vomited with the smell. This is the only area of the hotel that I feel was not clean and needed more attention. At the very bottom of the complex there is a beach bar/restaurant, this looks like it is attached to hotel but is not part of it and not included in all inclusive. You can gain access to the beach via a gate from complex, the beach, the beach is beautiful but my only gripe would be that the sun loungers in front of the hotel and not for use for hotel guest and get charged a large fee to lay on them for one day. The location is excellent and near bars/beach/restaurants. It is gr8 if wanting both a party holiday and a chill out holiday. The bus stop is just along the road which takes you right into San Antonio and they run from early afternoon right through the night. We only went to evening entertainment once at the hotel and seemed okay. It is bizarre that this is located out the front just off the carpark. Overall a good hotel and would definitely go back.More

Research is needed before you decide to stay here

This hotel is not a Thomson platinum as advertised there is a plaque on the wall but that is all that is platinum about it. We bought this holiday at a bargain price so we are happy we had value for money. The rooms are ok the maid cleaned everyday. The food ok but nothing to write home about. We had proper entertainment 3 times in 2 weeks. The drinks are like water we bought spirits outside. We played cards in the lounge most nights we had to use a torch as the lights were turned off. The speciality restaurant was an extentian of the main restaurant only difference was you could have a steak. I would not say don't go I would say be aware that this hotel is 4 star at best. More
