This hotel had a makeover in 2014 – and it comes with a great postcode, too. You’re right on a sandy beach, and 10 minutes’ walk gets you to the centre of town with plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.
This place has a big pool, with a bar on the side and a kids' pool at one end. Food is taken care of at the buffet restaurant and snack bar, while relaxation comes courtesy of the spa.

Beware!! Arrived at this hotel Saturday 22nd August 2015. Waited almost 3 hours for our room, we eventually checked in at 3pm 1 hour later than the promised and 2pm international check in time ( and with the cleaners still in there) the hotel was booked as a pool view ( but you couldn't see the pool) the hotel brochure States the room has a fridge! This is a must representation as the room has a cooler, a cooler isn't a fridge. Hotel safety deposit box didn't work had to make several trips to reception who are the most ignorant people you will ever meet to get the safety deposit box fixed. We have had no hot water since we arrived in the room we have complained to both Thomson and the hotel and on day 3 we are still in the same situation. We have telephoned the Thomson help line every day since arrival and also spoken to the rep celine. All to no resolve. We were promised a hotel change only to be offered a hotel in the other side of the island in which they knew we wouldn't except. The original hotel change that was promised in playa den bossa did not materialise. The hotel smells of sewage, the food isn't brilliant and the all inclusive leaves much to be desired, please read the other reviews as we feel this hotel is highly Mis represented it's not a platinum, the sewage smell and drainage problem is a health hazard, the reps are useless and are fully aware of the problems. Mis-sold a Thomson Platinum Holiday
On arrival ground floor rooms damp; plaster and paint bubbling off the walls and areas of mould. Sunbeds crammed closely together. Sunshades torn and spokes sticking out. Towels frayed with holes. We were flooded out of our rooms twice in 4 days, first 3" then 5" of water.Poor relationship between manager and Thomson/First Choice reps. Reps unhelpful and unable to move us to dry accomodation. Water dripping from air con in dining room into food and drinks. Animation team so helpful, approachable with excellent communication skills. I wish the manager would learn from them. NOT Platinum . BE VERY AWARE IF YOU ARE GIVEN A GROUND FLOOR ROOM! A hazardous hotel.More

Bad reviews are True! Stay clear of Bahamas
Everything that has been said about the terrible cleanliness, sewerage smells, bad service and flooding are true. We ignored the bad reviews and went anyway and are so upset with our holiday experience due to the hotel failing significantly to meet platinum standards. Main issue is the health and hygenie standards of pool and drainage, dirty floors and mould and damp in rooms terrible for anyone with asthma. Salt water irritated skin.
Rooms cramped for 4 people, bedding not changed daily. Staff rude and Emma the Thomson rep needs firing in our honest opinion the rudest rep we have ever met! We have complained to thomson since coming home. My advise is to stay away from this horrible place.More
Arrived at club Bahamas about 12.15 and luckily had read reviews about not getting a room til 14.00 so was prepared for this. After checking in we went for a walk and waited to go back for our room. Upon returning to reception there was once again a queue so we went to the staff that was free and explained we were informed to come back to get our room, we were told we would have to queue again, despite waiting about half an hour earlier, so went to queue again for another half an hour. I feel this needs to be addressed and a better check in system in place. I had previously emailed the hotel twice and had phoned them requesting a top floor room as my partner has some problems sleeping and we always ask for a top floor, every time we have been on holiday this has not been a problem but when I said to the reception this was not a top floor and I had previously been in touch with them they were not interested and not helpful in the least. Unfortunately we ended up with really noisy people above us our second week, returning at all ours and stomping about with heels on. Why do people feel the need to rearrange furniture at 4am?? Knowing they have people under them...
When we went to our room though it was a nice room, modern and clean. I can't complain about the cleanliness of our room, it was cleaned every day with clean towels daily. I also like the fact that we were given towels for the pool which you could change 3 times a week. The pool was great, though you do have to have your towels down early. We never had any problems getting served at the pool bar and never had long to wait at all.
The restaurant could do with having some decent air conditioning though as it gets really hot. Food was good,always something to have though does get a bit repetitive, but no complaints. Food always hot.
Entertainment was just as you expect at any hotel, but the entertainment staff were good and never in your face too much.
Would we return to Bahamas?? If they had taken into account our request for a top floor, and if they could give us a top floor,then yes we would. More
Great location next door to the airport(flightplan not an issue) right on the beach,comfortable clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. (especially Manuel). However the only criticism I have is that the music around the pool is deafening, repetitive and lowered the otherwise good qualities of the hotel. However a nice 1 weeks stay.More
