Club Bahamas

This place gets full marks for location – with a sandy beach and the best of Playa d’en Bossa’s bars and clubs on tap.

This hotel had a makeover for 2014 – and it comes with a great postcode, too. You’re right on a sandy beach, and 10 minutes’ walk gets you to the centre of town with plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.

This place has a big pool, with a bar on the side and a kids' pool at one end. Food is taken care of at the buffet restaurant and snack bar, while relaxation comes courtesy of the spa.

Excellent Half Term Break

Went to the Club Bahamas at October Half Term with my daughter and grandchildren. After a very short transfer (10 minutes) we were met at the hotel with a glass of sparkling wine. We were given a ground floor room, with a pool view. The room was spotlessly clean and modern. The pool and pool bar were very close and we were only a minute from the main hotel (for the restaurant etc). After reading some of the reviews of this hotel, I wonder where they were staying!! The staff were lovely and the pool area was kept spotless. The food was varied and good. The only comment I would make would be that it could be hotter. The kids loved going to the Kids Club. Tanya who ran it was great with the kids and they loved her!! The beach was just out of the hotel and the sea was lovely and clear. We would certainly go back again, probably at October half term and I think it would not be the same in the height of the summer - too many clubs, beach parties etc. All in all a great holiday.More

Very good holiday

Just arrived back from a week at the Bahamas Hotel, no noisy beach parties more older couples and couples with kids than 18/25 year olds which was great as we had our 7 year old son with us, hotel rooms were lovely, very clean, staff were all friendly and helpful, entertainment was good, hotel is right on the beach which was amazing, the only negative comment I have was that the food could have been better meat was always on the tough side, we had 2 nights in the other restaurant and the food was lovely, all in all we had a brill holiday and met some lovely people. lovely late hols definitely worth a visit

Room check in can be a bit of a nightmare when its busy we had to wait for about 2 hrs for ours but as we were all inclusive & the pool bar was open we didnt really mind to much after the initial moan the food in this hotel was fabulous (the bread section was like being in a bakery because there were so many choices) with a great choice of everything including a chocolate fondue in the evening - you could have eaten all day if you wanted to because when the restaurant was shut the snack bar was open - in fact some people did!!!!!! Evening entertainment was super - probably the best holiday shows l've seen for a long time Ruth & her team worked really hard to please everybody :-) l really cant think of any thing wrong with this place because everybody worked hard to make sure every area within the hotel & its grounds was clean & tidy at all times l for 1 will definitely be making a return tripMore

Would go back again.

We went to the Club Bahamas on the 8th October as a last minute holiday with 2 other couples - 5 of us in our 60's. We all had lovely rooms, 2 overlooking the pool and ours overlooking the beach. The hotel was clean, modern and in a lovely location right on the beach and only a 5 minute transfer from the airport. Watching the planes arrive was fascinating but far enough away not to be troublesome. The choice of food was excellent and of a very good standard. We had expected a Thomson Platinum hotel to provide premium drinks but this was not the case, however the local drinks provided were perfectly fine and the wine was very drinkable so we did not feel the need to upgrade to a well known brand. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and very helpful especially Gloria who worked mainly at the pool bar. My husband and I walked along the beach into Figueretas most days - about a 2 hour round trip depending on how many times we stopped for a drink!! We read negative comments prior to our trip but we found nothing really to complain about. We would definitely go back again but being the age we are would have to return at the same time of year when the party season is over.!!More
