An introduction to Los Olivos Villa
If you want to laze away your days in the luxury of no-one knowing where you are, the Olivo is the perfect hideout. Sitting in gorgeous green countryside, this delightful villa is the perfect place to pull up well and truly in the slow lane. Sitting like a gleaming white sugar cube, the Olivo is as cute as they come. Welcoming and homely, traditional terracotta-coloured flooring and wooden furnishings rub shoulders with modern comforts here, such as a washing machine and dishwasher. So you bag the best of both worlds. All on one level, there's an open-plan living room and kitchen and three restful bedrooms, one of which is a double with en suite and terrace. It's the outside where you'll probably spend most of your time here, though. Why? Well, for a start, you've got your own private pool. Sunk into a lush lawn, it sits in a completely enclosed garden with swishing palms, sunbeds and thatched parasols. And then there's the fact that it's pin-drop peaceful, with picture-postcard views over the rolling countryside. It really does feel like the end of the line. But for all its secluded charm, you're not off the beaten track. The tiny town of Es Cubells is just a ten minute walk away, with a sprinkling of shops, bars and restaurants. Or hit the serene shores of Cala Cubells, which is a few minutes' drive. However you spend your time at this laid-back lovely, you'll be refreshed and revitalised in next to no time.
