This was our first time staying here having always staying in hotels and it was great, actually exceeding our own expectations. The rooms are lovely and spacious and clean, the maids come in nearly every day too so always clean towels and often make beds too which did not expect. Balcony was large and gave us the best ever view over the beach and sea totally gorgeous!! We ate at the Marvent more than once for snacks, meals and was very good value and lovely meals with great choice. Great service too. Other areas to eat are plentiful around the beach area but not all are as reasonable apart from Mr Fish. We will definitely be returning here no question had a wonderful holiday so very restful with excellent location.More

Fantastic apartments.....es Cana is for all ages
Stayed at Miami apartments two weeks August 2014, me my husband, son and his friend aged 15. Very clean, spacious with plenty of storage, best apartments we have stayed in! Separate bedroom for adults and the children had the living area with TV! Large bathroom with shower and bath, Cleaners in everyday, change of towels everyday, they really do a fab job! Staff here are very friendly and speak English, they tend to all your needs however small. We stayed in room 508' (top floor) with great views of es Cana bay, what a fantastic view to wake up to..rooms 01-05 have full on sea view, 06 numbers have small veranda. You can use the facilities at the hotel, but the entertainment was not very good, but great for little ones with mini disco and the usual parrot show, a shame really, we usually like the entertainment at hotels but the entertainment here is poor (the only negative thing I can say!) the pool to the apartments is big enough, you have to get up early for a sun bed under an umbrella, but that's the norm! The resort is very relaxing, the beach on your door step and very safe with the usual pedloes, trips on glass bottom boats, all reasonably priced.(two sunbeds with umbrella 15 euro), there is plenty to do for all ages, several bars with tribute acts (great fun!), relaxing bars and plenty of restaurants, all reasonably priced (burger chips with drink 5euro), you can have a good steak for 20 euro, but can eat well for 10 euro, we loved the Bihia on the sea front, but there are plenty dotted around. Try the jackmaranda, saw Ray Quinn, Chico, free entry but you pay expensive for drinks, well worth a visit, very shabby sheek. We are always ready to come home after two weeks, but honestly did not want to come home, we will definitely be returning. A big thank you to all the staff here, it really does make a difference, hope to see you again next year!More

Great family holiday!
We've just got back from a fantastic holiday here, we had a 1 bedroom appartment on the second floor, my boys are aged 2 and 7 and myself and my husband all had plenty of room! A large balcony and a smaller one with fabulous sea views! The resort is fairly quiet which was perfect for us! Both my sons spent practically the whole holiday in the pool! We never found getting a sunbed a problem although we are early risers and would only use 2 for the 4 of us! Marvent restaurant downstairs was ok, helped by getting 10% off on meals and drinks! Food was good but some staff were quite rude and service was slow due to them being so busy! The bakery was very good also with 10% off! The shop on site was handy but quite expensive! We used the supermarket up the road or the one round the corner and up the road! The beach was lovely we didn't bother with sunbeds there as spent time making sandcastles, trying to catch fish or in the sea! We took a pedalo out which was good fun and did the banana boat ride on the last day. We went on a boat trip to Ibiza town which was a hair raising experience! Started off good fun but sea was very choppy and a lot of people were sea sick including my eldest! Somehow my youngest slept through it! It took an hour and a half and once there it was a bit disappointing apart from the McDonald s for my boys and the old town! All in all we had a lovely 2 weeks here and would certainly go again! My boys enjoyed the little funfair down the road which you had to pay for but I thought it was quite reasonable, we made some good friends and everyone at Es Cane was very friendly and approachable, the pool area could do with a bit of tlc as the filter covers need replacing and some of the parasols, they replaced the broken sunbeds while we we there! We were in apartment 202 which was just far enough away from Charlies to not disturb us! My husband and sons slept through it all! The entertainment at Charlies was not the greatest with some awful boyband tribute who also did the Take That tribute and there was only 3 of them! The Robbie Williams was by far the best while we were there! We ate in some lovely restaurants which were all reasonably priced. I would say I'm not sure there would be enough there for teenagers but for our little ones they didn't get bored once! Also the maid service was fantastic!More

Great place for a good holiday
Just back from 2 weeks holiday and was not disappointed. Having read all the reviews before going I am glad to share mine with you, they do deserve a good review. We had a top floor apartment at the front of the building and were so happy with the view and the 2 balconies off our spacious apartment. The apartment was spotless and the cleaners visited daily to empty the bins and regularly changed our sheets and towels, more than I had expected. Having an apartment on the front did make us wonder if we would be disturbed by the entertainment from Chariles bar underneath, we were not. You could hear the entertainment, which at times was rather funny, until 12 pm when 2 sets of doubled glazed doors were pulled closed and you could not hear a thing, sat on the balcony or inside the apartment. Sarah on reception was very helpful, a great local knowledge and gave us some good place to explore with our hire car. The staff at the restaurant were swift to serve you, at times they were very busy, they remaind fully aware of your order and still maintained a friendly manner - remember relax your on holiday. Would defiantly return and recommend.More
