Booked with TUI in May. I would realistically give 3.5 stars but the positives outweigh any negatives so 4 stars it is. First of all the positives are the appartments gaurantee a lovely sea view even on the first floor where we were. Nice size appts too with a seperate bedroom. Clean and tidy rooms with a small kitchen fitted out with large fridge, microwave , hob, kettle and toaster. There is a TV with all your home channels if that's important to you. Strangely a deposit is required for a remote but you can operate the TV manually. Free WiFi but patchy. A nice large balcony with table and chairs for that lovely view and the mornings are sun times for the balcony. There is air-conditioning available at a price but if you are sensible about the balcony doors and curtains you won't need it. A safe is in the bedroom and is 23 euros. The appts are above the Mervant restaurant which serves great food at all times. A good selection even for veggies like us.A friendly service by the waiters too. All day breakfast if you want it. There is a 10 % discount too for residents.A takeaway service and lovely bakery too. Next door to restaurant is Charlie's bar with some lively music and tribute acts. Family friendly but the acts start about 10pm. If you want a table get there at 9. The drinks aren't cheap but they have to pay the bills and staff so understandable. If you want peace and quiet staying in your appt in the evening this isn't the place for you although with the balcony doors closed it isn't that bad. Get to Charlie's and enjoy it! Now my negatives are probably not going to happen to you but here goes. After enduring the screaming babies and kids on the plane for two hours we get to the airport and then we are the fifth and last drop off after an hour to the appts. We are given instructions where to find the key card because it was then 10.30 pm. We get to the appt and was pleased with it but then find the bathroom flooded. A good one inch of standing water on Friday night with no reception to call. We spend time mopping this up and realise it was coming from a lose screw under the cistern. We tighten this up and problem solved but I can only assume a moronic guest before us undid this as a sick joke and the cleaners failed to spot this small leak which built up. Idiotic moron that guest was. Anyway it didn't spoil our holiday mate! Now, the noise. Again this depends what guests are next door but like all holiday accommodation the walls seem very thin and you can hear everything. Talking,, going the loo, you name it. Then when the cleaners arrive at 8am you hear them too scraping chairs and yapping so if you are a light sleeper you may want to purchase ear plugs. The cleaners will come into your room even when it's locked which is a it of a cheek for my liking but they do their job well to be fair. There is a small shop on site for your essentials but if you want a supermarket there is one up the road on the left past the chemist or turn right out the appts and five mins away is a bigger spar supermarket. Wednesday is the famous hippy market and a five minute walk. A spectacle but crowded and a bit disappointing to be honest. Anyway all in all Es Cana resort is a lovely place with a nice beach for children. Lovely clear sea that is a shallow shelving one ideal for paddling. Loungers here are 6 euros each to hire so not cheap but if you are happy to sit on a towel it's free. There are boat trips, skiing, pedalos all on your doorstep or just sit there on your lovely balcony and watch others. The glass bottomed boat is 10 euros each but a bit boring and you will laugh how quick the captain gets back.Like a speedboat. There is a small pool out back of hotel which is neatly set out and only a few guests used it probably because it's a bit boring. If you like sun bathing and a cold dip it's up to you. We enjoyed a lovely week with great weather up to 25° with a lovely view and cheap off peak prices. Would we go back? You bet.More

Worth much more than 2 stars!
We booked a week here in October 2016 for a last bit of warmth and sunshine. The apartments are dated and tired but provide everything you need. They are most definitely worth more than 2 stars they have and the view from the balcony is fantastic looking right over the bay, I would have no hesitation in going here again. The young lady on reception is extremely helpful and will help you if you have any problems. You get discount at Marvents Restaurant which is attached to the apartments and has its own separate bakery as well. The food there was fabulous and plenty to choose from, even though it was busy every night, we always got a table. There is a small pool at the back of the apartments with sunbeds and a shop which sells essentials. I would not hesitate to recommend these apartments to anyone.More
Just amazing ...
Traveled as family of five, wife and three teen daughters. We had a corner apartment on second floor with about four balconies. The biggest one we all could have slept on (was that big) and used it to chill out and sun bathe on. LOved that balcony. Tunes, few cocktails and best view ever. It over looked the sea and day or night was just stunning (see pics) We had two double rooms and a large open seating/dining area with fold out beds. Kitchen was separate in open plan with dining area. Seriously you have no worries with space. Including wardrobes (given the fact we were with three teenage girls). Big bathroom, with bath and shower. Yep you have to pay for aircon (as everywhere now) but it works very well and some times had to turn it off is that good. Girl on reception was superb, couldn't have been more helpful and made the holiday rep redundant (no surprises there ;) Some great places to eat within EsCana. Way too many too mention and don't want to favor anyone - they all deserve your business. The fun is experimenting yourself ;) Would recommend the water sports opposite. I think was about 50 euros for four of us to get pulled around by a speed boat in many different ways. Was great fun. Hippy Market was ok but don't expect a bargain. Tried haggling and its not that kinda market. Lot of them have proper businesses, so they don't need to make a bargain. Is cool to look around but not like the markets you get in Turkey for example. Is way too commercial. KInd of a tourist trap to be honest. (Don't fall for it) You can probably buy same thing local and they live there so .. Can't fault EsCana and these Apartments. If you are looking for an escape and just chill is unreal. Saying that though. This is on the opposite side to the island for Clubs in Ibizia Town but its only about 30 minutes in a cab I think so great base to be honest if you also want the massive night life. They do a party bus late night to get you back so its all good. If you have young children I would struggle for you to find things other than the beach. No big water parks nearby etc if that's what they crave. Not meant as a negative just saying if they want to be entertained. Evening entertainment (if staying here) is right below at Charlies Bar. They have tribute acts most nights. Some great - some hilarious for the wrong reasons ;) There are great restaurants and bars through out EsCana - enough to try all and find something different. We found a few faves that I am sure you will also that we went back to a few times. So to sum up. You will love it !!! PS if you get our apartment from last summer (corner second floor with massive balcony - best way to enjoy it is tunes, vodka martini's and the view - just saying - Have an awesome Holiday !!! :)More

Cheap and cheerful with an amazing view
Got a last minute late deal at these apartments. The apartments were spacious, clean and when their was a problem with the kettle it was changed immediately without any problems. The main draw was the amazing view out over the harbour. I never tired of it. Couple of minor issues - beds were very hard - had hip and shoulder ache but eventually adapted. When we arrived the reception was shut and nobody was around so we had to go and ask in the restaurant which was a bit scary but not major. Restaurant downstairs was great. Music next door was loud and entertainment most certainly not. Overall I would give it 9/10 - great valueMore
Half Term Break.
Booked a last minute Half Term break with our 4 year old. Very spacious room. Whilst clean with everything you need the decor was a little dated. Staff friendly & accommodating. We were lucky that Charlie's closed the day we arrive. Would probably stay again just out of season due to noise from Charlie's - just personal preference. Very enjoyable holiday.More
