Simple, modern and near the heart of the action in Puerto Rico, these great-value apartments make the perfect base for a lively holiday.
If you want a simple base in the centre of Puerto Rico, the Altair Apartments are ideal. Tucked up a hillside, they’re a five-minute walk down steps to the shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre. The sandy beach is a few minutes on from there, too. And if you don’t want to tackle the steps back up, cabs are easily available and pretty cheap.
As for the apartments, they’ve been recently refurbished. The finished look is simple and modern, with whitewashed walls and laminate floors. Balconies are here, too – some with side views of the sea and all overlooking the hills behind the town.
Outside, there’s a curvy main pool and a children’s pool framed by terraces. A small snack bar wraps things up, with tables and chairs bordering the water.
When it comes to activities, you’re welcome to join in the entertainment at the next-door Cala d’Or hotel. We’re talking daytime quizzes followed by karaoke and shows in the evenings.
