Looking out over a marina and the beach, these modern apartments know a thing or two about great views.
It’s the location that scores top marks here. Overlooking the marina and just a five-minute walk from the beach, these apartments offer up impressive sea views. A ten-minute walk along the coast, meanwhile, takes you to the heart of lively Puerto Rico. It’s packed with shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
Setting aside, the swimming pool is noteworthy. It’s the shape of a triangle and is set facing the marina, which means you can watch the boats bob in and out of the harbour while you relax on the sun terrace or by the snack bar. What’s more, the whole set-up is fringed by palm trees and well-kept lawns, there’s a real air of privacy.
As for the apartments, they’ve recently been renovated so everything’s up to date. Décor is fresh and classic – think whitewashed walls, tiled floors and a mix of wooden and wicker furniture. They all come with satellite TVs and well-equipped kitchens, too, as well as sea or harbour-facing balconies or terraces.
Lastly, when you don’t fancy cooking, the hotel’s pool bar serves up snacks like toasties, omelettes and burgers throughout the day. For proper meals, head down to the marina for tapas and fresh seafood on the harbourside terraces. Or, for more in the way of eateries and after-dinner entertainment, make for Puerto Rico and make a night of it.
