This place is the epitome of contemporary chic. Think clean lines, big windows and fresh white walls, all bordered by rows of exotic palms. And its location is just as impressive. Pulled up against Puerto Rico’s stylish marina and just footsteps from the beach, it’s surrounded by great scenery and restaurants. Plus, when you want to explore Puerto Rico itself, the town centre is just a ten-minute walk away.
If you’re staying put, meanwhile, there’s a fantastic pool scene at the hotel. It’s a huge sea-facing rectangular number framed by a wide sun terrace. Pull up a lounger and relax here or grab a table at the poolside bar and order a spot of lunch – every dish comes with a side-order of sea views.
Head inside, meanwhile, and the laidback theme continues. All the suites come with a view of the sea or marina, plus a roomy balcony or terrace from which to enjoy it. You’ll get a mini kitchen, too, complete with all the essentials – including the all-important microwave and coffeemaker. Factor in a separate bedroom and a living area with a sofa-bed and there’s plenty of space to spread out. In-room extras like air-conditioning and satellite TV complete the picture.
On the food front, there's the buffet eatery offering a mix of international favourites, regional specialities and a great selection of just-landed seafood. For an extra special dining experience, check out the regular theme nights. We’re talking flavoursome evenings courtesy of Mexico, China and Spain..

Wonderful views over breakfast
Breakfast served in a bar/dining room with lovely open views over the sea, with cliffs to the left and infinity pool to the right. Best part of the day for me! Unfortunately it closes at 6pm in winter season. Must be a great spot in the summer. We stayed half board in very large family suite on 9th floor, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, big lounge/dining area with small but well equipped kitchen and large balcony with great view. There was a large choice at breakfast and evening meals. The overall standard of the hotel was very good, with courteous, friendly staff who provided a spotlessly clean environment and very good service. The provision of a shallow children's pool and safe play area was much enjoyed by my 2yr old grand daughter. The only negative comments I would make would be the over crowding of sun beds around the pools, the beds were hard, and the inability to obtain any food outside of the structured meal times ie breakfast from 8am, lunch from 1pm and dinner from 6.30pm, which caused problems with our little girl.More
We stayed here 2 years in a row. Cannot fault the hotel whatsoever. The apartments were big, airy and spacious. The bathroom was absolutely spotless and very modern. We only had dinner hereonce as we ate out in the town most nights but the night we did have dinner, on our most recent trip, there was a chinese buffet, it was nice but we went late and there wasnt loads left to choose from. Breakfast is a buffet, lovely selection and constantly topped up with fresh food. The location is great, right beside the marina, which is great for boat trips and 2 minutes from the beach. The swimming pool is fabulous and looks out onto the sea, lovely and relaxing. The bar beside the pool has a great selection of snacks and drinks. We have lovely memories here and will definitely be back in the future.More

Stayed at Marina Suites and all I can say it was simply wonderful, staff couldn't do enough to help, room was amazing the best we have ever stayed in on a package tour holiday. It was my birthday while on holiday and the management left me a card, chocolates and a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. We had went self catering but managed to eat at the hotel on a few nights which was a buffet style. There was an excellent range of dishes which was regularly changed and topped up and the staff were very attentive. We were that impressed that we have booked a return visit this year. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff and management for a wonderful stay and am looking forward to our return visit.More
Wow! What a fab hotel
There was 10 women who stayed here for a joint 50th celebration, we went for 4 nights. Hotel is fab, very clean, staff are all very nice especially the girl in the bar at night were we would have a drink before we went out for dinner. The marina is gorgeous. I would highly recommend this hotel for young & old. More
Ice cold food
We had stayed at the Marina suites 2 years ago and decided to go back in hope that the food would have improved. We booked for 3 weeks in February 2014 and sadly (for them) we also suggested that some other family members join us for the third week. The hotel is nice and the rooms are large but like other reviewers have said, the walls are very thin! The beds are hard and the pillows were very thin, we refused to pay the extra for other pillows as we had already paid enough for the holiday and on our previous stay they had better pillows. The pool is nice but the sunbed area is far too crowded and its quite difficult to walk from one end to the other. Also while we were there the decking area at the end was closed off for a day and hosed down. They really need to look at the condition of the wood because it is splitting and breaking, I got a splinter from it just after it was re-opened. Breakfast was ok if you only have the cold food and there is plenty of choice for that, but the hot food was cold and the evening dinner was lukewarm. The evening selection was very monotonous and included cold pasta, grilled fish and some sort of meat - lukewarm. We filled in a questionnaire the first week we were there and complained about the food on that. The hotel manager did phone us and talk about the problems and things improved slightly for a few days then it went back to the usual. We had paid for half-board but thankfully we were able to afford to eat out which we did a lot! The hotel needs to sort this problem out as a lot of families pay for meals and have no choice but to put up with it. We have stayed at a lower star hotel in another resort on G.C which had buffet style meals and all the meals were lovely and hot so if they can do it why can't a higher quality hotel do it? On a positive note: We found all the staff really friendly and helpful. The bar meals are limited but at least they are hot. Views are good on the higher floors. If you want sun on your balcony most of the day ask for a room facing the sea. Interestingly we paid a visit to the "sister" complex, Marina Bay View and what a difference!More
