Marina Suites

Just a stone's throw from the beach and moments from the marina, this good-looking hotel is in a first-class spot. Sea views come courtesy of the huge pool area and modern apartments. Meanwhile, the buffet restaurant lays on international theme nights.

This place is the epitome of contemporary chic. Think clean lines, big windows and fresh white walls, all bordered by rows of exotic palms. And its location is just as impressive. Pulled up against Puerto Rico’s stylish marina and just footsteps from the beach, it’s surrounded by great scenery and restaurants. Plus, when you want to explore Puerto Rico itself, the town centre is just a ten-minute walk away.

If you’re staying put, meanwhile, there’s a fantastic pool scene at the hotel. It’s a huge sea-facing rectangular number framed by a wide sun terrace. Pull up a lounger and relax here or grab a table at the poolside bar and order a spot of lunch – every dish comes with a side-order of sea views.

Head inside, meanwhile, and the laidback theme continues. All the suites come with a view of the sea or marina, plus a roomy balcony or terrace from which to enjoy it. You’ll get a mini kitchen, too, complete with all the essentials – including the all-important microwave and coffeemaker. Factor in a separate bedroom and a living area with a sofa-bed and there’s plenty of space to spread out. In-room extras like air-conditioning and satellite TV complete the picture.

On the food front, there's the buffet eatery offering a mix of international favourites, regional specialities. For an extra special dining experience, check out the regular theme nights. We’re talking flavoursome evenings courtesy of Mexico, China and Spain..

Fantastic

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 10 days in September 2014. The rooms were cleaned almost every day and were nice and cool we didn't have to put the air conditioning on once. The apartments are equipped with everything you need. The vies from the balcony are stunning. The pool area is great with an amazing pool with amazing views the animation team are also working hard on keeping the guests entertained. Fantastic hotel to stay in definitely recommend!More

Gemma C,

Excellent and out of this world

You couldn't ask for more. Felt like a princess. Rooms lovely and spacious ask for a sea view higher up as views are fabulous. Complimentary wine, chocolates as well as robes and slippers. Service was always excellent, even whilst sat in the hot tub. Pools lovely with a lifeguard. Daughter loved the kids club and mini disco. Make sure you have a drink in the bar near reception before you go out as free tapas available as samples from the evening meal. Will definitely return had a wonderful time. The staff are attentive to your needs and always professionalMore

Lovely stay

Due to Marina Bayview being overbooked we was transferred to Marina Suites and it was lovely, if we ever needed any help about excursions the reception staff were always happy to help, recommending us on which would be the best days and where we would be able to get the best prices. Reception staff were always friendly and seemed to go out of their way to make sure we was having an enjoyable holiday. The hotel was great, had everything we needed and it was great having our breakfasts thrown in too! Would definitely come back!More

Absolutely Amazing!! Returning In April

Well Where Do i Start... Arrived at the Hotel & it was everything i expected & More. The staff were lovely & welcoming.... as they were all week helped with everything we required through out the week, even let me take a souvenir from my room at the end! which the staff signed lol :) The standard Suite we stayed in was stunning, very clean, spacious & very big. View from a lovely sized balcony was stunning!! As it was our honey moon our friends (who live there) & the staff made up the room with roses, chocolate and champagne!! along with a voucher for 50% off a couple massage... Which was wonderful!! Thankyou :) The whole hotel was very clean & spacious no matter what time of day it was very impressed! The pools.... Well spent most of our afternoons around the infinity pool all i can say is its out of this world!!! The view was breath taking. I had no problem getting sun beds but if you wanted one in a specific area i recommend going early (between 9-10am) - The WiFi in this particular area is poor however it is perfect everywhere else. Food: We went half board as we have never been Grancanaria before & wanted to see the island. I had Breakfast everyday, the selection that you received was ace!! I can be quite fussy however they certainly pleased me. You have everything from fruit, pate, English fry up, ham, cheese... you name it it was there! Evening meal: We only eat here twice out of the week however when we did again the food was great! the only down side was if you wanted to eat in the outside part over looking the Marina it was a little cramped. In my opinion the tables were to close together which can make people feel a little uncomfortable but inside the restaurant is fine. Im returning with my husband in April (This was my honeymoon) for our first year anniversary :) didn't have our honeymoon till September as we live in Tenerife & i cant wait to go back!! Thank you to all the staff at the marina suites for making our holiday as fantastic as it was & look forward to seeing you again in 7 months.xxxMore

Sarahlou236,

Perfect Location in Puerto Rico

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Marina Suites. This was our second visit and found that the hotel was looking a little tired in places since our first visit, although work was being carried out on the floors in the reception area whilst we were there. It is a lovely hotel in a perfect location right on the marina with stunning views. The pool is lovely, looking out to sea but there are issues with the best sunbeds being reserved early in the morning and nobody arrives to claim them until later in the day. So annoying, as it seemed to be the same people every day. Staff were very friendly and wifi in the rooms is excellent although in other areas was a little hit and miss. We stayed on a half board basis and found the food was very poor for a 4☆ hotel. There was a lack of choice and food was often cold. Would we stay again?, yes, but on a self catering basis as there are many nice restaurants in the area. More
