Marina Suites

The seafront infinity pool turns heads at this hotel, and the centre of Puerto Rico is a short stroll away.

Just a stone's throw from the beach and moments from Puerto Rico’s stylish marina, this hotel is in a first-class spot. It had a smart new look for summer 2015 – the buffet restaurant, pool area and rooms have been modernised and refreshed.

All the suites come with a view of the sea or marina, plus a roomy balcony or terrace from which to enjoy it. You’ll get a mini kitchen, complete with all the essentials – including a microwave and coffeemaker. Factor in a separate bedroom and a living area with a sofa-bed and there’s plenty of space to spread out.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel and again I have not been disappointed, the friendliness of the staff is incredibly warming, They treat every guest as an individual and do anything they can to make your holiday amazing. The new lounge bar is beautifully layed out and makes you feel very comfortable, the food for breakfast and dinner is to a very high standard and there is something for everyone. The Pool again is the most beautiful pool I have ever had in a hotel with fantastic panoramic views of the sea. We are currently in the process of booking to return in November for the 3rd time but it's worth every penny. Don't hesitate to book this you will not be disappointed. More

Ashleigh P,

An honest opinion!

overall we enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent with plenty of variety and excellent quality. At least 4 dishes made to order each evening and the desserts were just too tempting. ( I definitely put on weight !) The rooms were spacious, very clean and well equipped. The staff were , almost without exception ( the execution being one chef) very friendly, helpful and eager to please! The harbour view was lovely------ however, along with the marina comes a boatyard which could be very noisy with banging and shot blasting/ grinding going on sometimes all day! Not very relaxing! The other downside for us was that the two jacuzzis were not supervised by the staff and despite signs indicating that children under 16 should not use them we frequently could not get near them for really quite young children ( 5 - 10), often unaccompanied, taking up residence! Additionally sometimes parents would actively encourage their kids to play in them while staff didn't ever monitor their use. We appreciate that as an older couple who's kids are long grown that perhaps we are less tolerant of youngsters 'taking over' but we deserve our kind of holiday too which was why we had chosen to use the 'quieter grown up area' away from the pool and kiddie area! As for tips - although the harbour is very close use the bus to go through to Puerto Mogan, which is beautiful, It costs about a third of the ferry fare and is quicker too! More

Fabulous location and facilities

Fabulous hotel with great location and great facilities. Great pool and views are amazing. Hotel exceptionally clean good service professional staff and good food. Would have no hesitation in returning in the future. My only small issue is that the sun beds are very close at the pool area which in itself is not too bad but when other guests choose to smoke it can be a little off putting but this is minor did not spoil the enjoyment ... staff were all lovely but Tony at breakfast was particularly friendly snd professional More

Lovely hotel

Our second time at Marina Suites. It's a lovely hotel with a safe and friendly environment. We had a deluxe room which overlooked the harbour and pool area. The pool is lovely with a baby pool with a depth of 40 cm. Very clean and you can have bar food and drinks, massages and enjoy the decking area which overlooks the sea line. The rooms are immaculate and the housekeeping team are lovely - and trustworthy! Our bedroom was big enough to put our daughters single bed in rather than in the living room on her own. You can cook food, but we went half board. The breakfast is lovely. The dinner buffet is a bit of a pot luck affair. Some strange combinations!! Salad bar is well stocked and they cook your meat freshly along with a pasta area. Lots of choice of puddings as well. The room can be a bit noisy in the early hours due to bring on the corner of the building where the deliveries and rubbish are collected. Didn't bother us really. The standard rooms are quieter as the bedrooms are on the back of the layout of the room. Deluxe rooms have beautiful bathrooms overlooking the harbour. Although they get very hot after 4.30pm as they have no blinds to keep out the sun. Kids club looked good also - although we didn't use this facility. It's a nice flat walk into the shopping area which is great. We will certainly be back. Rooms with two bedrooms are numbers 24 on each floor.More

A little piece of Heaven

From the second we arrived to the time we left, it was if we were staying in heaven. It is that good, we arrived and got a glass of champagne on check in, a lovely surprise! We asked for a room on the upper levels overlooking the marina, thats exactly what we got. Rooms are beautiful, bright, open, and fantastically clean. Cleaning is very frequent and the cleaning staff are impeccably thorough. The pool area is beautiful, plenty sun loungers so any time of the day you arrive down you will get one. Pool side bar has great staff, great food and good offers on drinks. We booked some tours at reception and maria elania was brilliant in her help, indeed all the staff were so courteous, polite, and very helpful, highly recommend staying here, its a fantastic place to stay, very central only a short Walk to the beach and the shopping centre.
