The seafront infinity pool turns heads at this hotel, and the centre of Puerto Rico is a short stroll away.
Just a stone's throw from the beach and moments from Puerto Rico’s stylish marina, this hotel is in a first-class spot. It’s having a smart new look in time for July 2015 – the buffet restaurant, pool area and rooms will be modernised and refreshed.
All the suites come with a view of the sea or marina, plus a roomy balcony or terrace from which to enjoy it. You’ll get a mini kitchen, complete with all the essentials – including a microwave and coffeemaker. Factor in a separate bedroom and a living area with a sofa-bed and there’s plenty of space to spread out.
The main buffet restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and doubles up as a pool bar for drinks and snacks until 6pm. Breakfast is included if you are staying on a half-board or bed and breakfast basis. Dietary requirements can be catered for with advanced warning given to the chefs. Early breakfasts and late dinners can be arranged if you're venturing out for the day.
These 1-bedroom apartments with a contemporary design and soft furnishings can sleep up to four. They come with twin beds and a double sofa-bed. There's air-conditioning, kitchen with fridge, satellite TV with limited channels, phone, internet point, plus a balcony or terrace with a sea, pool or marina view.
Very pleasantly surprised about this hotel, had everything we needed and in a superb location overlooking the harbour. Very clean rooms and pool area, the staff could not have been more helpful. We only had one meal in the restaurant during our stay and that was an excellent oriental themed buffet couldn't fault it. Very sorry to leave and go home.More
Second time here in the Marina Suites Hotel in Peurto Rico , Gran Canaria. Rooms are outstanding , staff are amazing. Facilities 2nd to none. Pool is very child friendly. Nightly entertainment really caters for the family and its a short taxi ride to the town centre. Over all an amazing place #ilovemarinasuitesMore

Another fantastic stay at the Marina Suites
Firstly I must tell you this is my 4th stay at the Marina Suites and I am planning my 5th stay for next year already. I almost don't want to say how good my stay was and keep it as my secret so that the hotel is not over booked for when I want to visit but of course that wouldn't be fair.
The staff here are lovely at the Marina Suites, all have a really good attitude and will say âHola' to you as you pass them.
The hotel has had some renovation since 2014 and still looks lovely, perhaps the designer this time was a bit more arty - I'm not sure if it was required style wise but non the less it is still very nice, the major improvement to note is the bedding & pillows, it was the only thing that let the hotel down before as it was so hard but now I can confirm that for two weeks I had great sleeps on the cosy, comfy beds and nice pillows - this improvement was needed and is appreciated. The breakfast was as expected - very good, so much choice, very well cooked, fresh bread, pancakes made fresh and warm (delicious) eggs cooked for you and however you wanted them, the chefs and waiting staff in this area are very nice, polite & kind.
The hotel is in a great location, on the flat (which few hotels can claim in Puerto Rico) and right on the Marina. There is so much to see on this beautiful island, I won't go into that on this review but this is a great base for the south of the island and I would say the best hotel in Puerto Rico itself. It is more expensive than other hotels in Puerto Rico however I think it would be fair to say you get what you pay for with this hotel and I do think it is good value. The pool is beautiful as many others have said, the reserving sun bed thing here is a bit of a problem and the rule of removing towels after a certain amount of time does not appear to be in force so if you want a certain spot you will have to join the 8am queue!! However I came down on odd days after lunch and never had a problem finding a couple of beds together but obviously I couldn't have it exactly where I wanted it every time but that didn't matter to me. This doesn't put me off a hotel as in my experience it happens everywhere.
I will add some photos and any questions please feel free to ask.
If you are thinking of booking your stay at the Marina Suites - Do it now, in my experience if you procrastinate for too long you will soon find they are full! I've seen this hotel go from strength to strength in terms of rave reviews and often being booked up, so that along with this review should tell you what you need to know.
Thank you to the Marina Suites Team (every single person from front of house to all the people behind the scenes) for a lovely holiday. More

Great Location , massive rooms
We selected this hotel for our first Gran Canaria visit and it was a great choice.
With its ocean view rooms and infinity pool what else would you wish for.
Nice , comfy sun beds and open air Jacuzzis made the pool area our preferred option but the Amadores beach ( just 5min drive) was also great.
Lots of restaurants around and staff very friendly and helpfulMore

Arrived here on Monday 28th September for 14 days. This is our first visit here and what can I say - WOW ð. Requested 4th floor with Marina View, which is exactly what we were allocated ( R 422 ). Rooms spotless, spacious with gorgeous views over the Marina.
Staff - customer service second to none - all staff smartly dressed, friendly, polite and always greeted with a smile, a real credit to Marina Suites.
