With its good-looking main pool, rooftop terrace and smart spa, the Eugenia Victoria has a well-stocked pool scene.
The Eugenia Victoria holds court in a top spot – the town centre of Playa del Ingles is only a ten-minute walk away, plus the hotel shuttle bus zips to the nearby beach in five.
The pool scene steals the limelight at the Eugenia Victoria, closely followed by the al fresco bars and family-friendly menu of activities.

Eugenia Victoria Hotel (Bull Hotels), Playa Del Ingles
Just back from Gran Canaria, after my 2nd holiday on that island. My first was many years ago to Puerto Rico, but for 2017n it was Playa Del Ingles. I was on a Jet2 package holiday, with 14 night stay at the Eugenia Victoria Hotel, on a half board basis. The room was large - Bedroom first (Twin beds), bathroom (Shower, no bath), living room and balcony which overlooked the pool, pool bar, garden and Palmera Bar in the gardens. The accommodation was well fitted out, and included a safe and small fridge, as well as all the normal amenities. The staff at reception were all ways very friendly and helpful, as were the staff in the buffet restaurant, the three bars as well as the maintenance and cleaning teams. The Palmera bar opened circa 11.00 Hrs, and closed at 23.45 Hrs, the Drago Bar, which was in-side the hotel, opened around 17.00 Hrs, closing at 24.00 Hrs. The Drago bar and lounge also had two "Happy Hour" periods, not always for an hour. The lounge was well equipped with large lounge cane chairs, as well as smalled upright seating. Waiter service was available in both bars, as well as normal bar service. The pool was quite large, with a good quantity of modern sun-loungers, with full-sized waterproof cushioning. Above floor 8 was a Solarium, again with sun-loungers and Jacuzzi, the views over Playa Del Ingles was exceptional. Free Wi-Fi was provided on arrival, including name and password, both very easy to remember being based on the guest's surname and room number. There was also a "Cyber" Bar just off of the garden with computers available at a charge, for those without a laptop, or smart phone. Although it was termed as a bar, I never saw drink or bar staff there, but it may be that it was not open as a "bar" when I was on holiday during February. Excursions could be purchased at reception - Coach Tours, Jeeps Safaris, Park Trips, Water Parks, trips to Las Palmas for shopping, etc. All were much cheaper than I would have expected, but the tours/trips were still well organised with quality vehicles and multi-lingual guides. A free hourly bus from the main entrance took you to and from the beach areas, from 09.00 - 17.00 Hrs. On either side of the hotel there are Shopping Centres - CC Gran Chaparral and CC Jardin Sol, with shops, bars and restaurants as required. Bars include British, Irish, Spanish, Dutch, Scandinavian, etc. There are also Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Indian restaurants. Playa Del Ingles largest "Centre" - CC Yumbo - is around 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I did not visit the centre, but I believe it is on three levels, possibly four, one of which is taken over by entertainment in the evening/night! Overall this three star Bull Group Hotel, is very good value for money, and also offers an All Inclusive option. I think it may also provide B/B and Full Board options, but not 100% certain of that fact. JimmyB (14/03/2017)More

great hotel esp if you like a seventies singalong. The wellness centre and gym are free to use in the all incl package, The food and drinks choices are great, staff are very friendly (we were there in the run up to the winter festival and the staff dressed up in fancy dress some days) it was refreshingly different.More
This hotel was fantastic. We have visited playa over 20 times over the years. Considering everything this has got to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in and great value for money. The rooms are large, modern and clean. The food was hot and varied and they catered for everyone. Even got free sparkling water and hot drinks at evening meal which other hotels dont do. Always got a table. It does get busy at peak times. So go out of peak times if you dont want to queue. Enough sun lounges for everyone. Excellent pool area. Pool towels are 1 euro. The jewel in this hotels crown is the free spa and wellness centre. Excellent experience. The free gym is also well equipped. Entertainment is the same as you get in any playa hotel. All the staff were helpful and polite. The only faults (which arent that bad) is the tv in the room could have been bigger and they dont provide toiletries in the room other than soap. Will definetly be coming again to this hotel.More
