Great hotel and place shame about the people
The hotel is lovely it's big and clean the rooms are spacious. The pool area is great, the sun beds are comfortable but had to be up at 7 to get one we wanted. We went up to the roof terrace and the views were amazing also the spa is brilliant we had kids with us so could only go between 9am and 12pm but well worth going the dead sea pool it great. The shopping centre near by called the yumbo centre was good plenty of shops bars and restraunts about a 10 minute walk away. We paid all inclusive and the food wasn't good we spent a lot of nights out for tea because we couldn't face the food or how busy it was. Sometimes we struggled to find a table for 4 of us. The food at the pool bar was better. The girls at the pool bar are very hard working but can be rude sometimes I thought and usually served foreign people before myself and often stood waiting 15 minutes while people who came after me were served straight away. The people staying at this hotel were some of the rudest I've ever met not many were English and pushed in front of you. One time I was queuing for pancakes and as I got to the front a man barged in front of me and my children and took the last ones. 80% of them are plain rude which isn't the hotels fault. The reception staff however were lovely and pleasant which was a nice change as for everyone else. The entertainment on a night was good enough for us. We stayed for mini disco first then watched the show afterwards which we always enjoyed and the animation team were brilliant with the kids and worked hard. Overall we had a lovely holiday at a great hotel but the food, guests and some staff let it down I would still come again. More

What can I say about this hotel.............. let's start with the positives, spa great, steak on the stone and roast chicken at the pool bar lovely, evening entertainment every night. We were sold this through jet2 as a 4 star, when we arrived it had 3 stars outside and our 12 night experience was positively below average 3 star!! Which you wouldn't mind if you paid for a cheap holiday, you get what you pay for but we paid a lot of money for this hotel, me, my partner and two teenagers 14 and 17 we paid welll over £1100 each. The hotel rooms have been upgraded in terms of Decorative aesthetically, but the bathroom needs replaced and air conditioning would be expected as standard, not the fan above the bed which just floats the hot air around the room. The corridors looked like a low budget pontins corridor and stank of smoke and food, we were on 1st floor overlooking the crazy golf. Set your alarm for 6.30am and expect to wait in a large queue at the door in anticipation of it being unlocked so you can then walk or run with the determination of the terminator to get a sun lounger........... not really what I was looking to do on my holidays, but it seemed the most normal thing in the world to do if your German, which the vast majority of hotel guests where when we went. Be prepared to wait at the pool bar for at least 15-20 mins to get served, each and every time you require a drink....... and don't be naive and sit and wait on table service, you are wasting your time. We tipped the waiters from the first day we arrived and continued to do so until the end of the holiday........ but for what ever reason they preferred to serve everyone else and keep you waiting. if you go for lunch at the pool bar be prepared to take at least 2 and half hours out of your day from the moment you sit on your seat, to eventually ordering your food and then eventually getting served your door!! The steak on the stone is lovely and you cook it at your table yourself and the chickens are cooked throughout the day so are ready to serve immediately so I'm not sure why it took so long to bring it to your table, it was lovely when it did arrive. The evening entertainment consists of man women duo who sing in foreign languages but they are good and very relaxing. The buffet food service for breakfast and dinner is far too small to accommodate the amount of people eating there, we tried going early, we tried the middle service and we tried at end of service and the place was always far too busy. Other guests are all very rude and again walk like the terminator in their quest for food and drink, so it's ducking and diving to avoid a possible collision, and once you finally find a seat to accommodate 4 people it sounds like a canteen with all the banging and clutter and noise, none of which makes for a relaxing meal. The food isn't great and very repetitive I couldn't face eating most of it and I'm quite adventurous with food but it just didn't look or taste very nice , I always went for the show cooking, again you had to wait about 15 minutes in a queue but at least you could pick your ingredients and it was cooked from fresh and it did taste lovely. The cutlery and the wine glasses where dirty most days. Basically this hotel transported me back to 25 years ago when you paid for a cheep hotel because that is all you could afford and hated every minute of it and couldn't wait to go home. Such a shame as we work hard all year round and we were really looking forward to a nice relaxing holiday with good food in lovely surroundings but sadly this was none of these things. We go abroad at least twice a year and have been to many lovely hotels with lots of different nationalities in them but I can honestly say i would not recommend for a British holidaymakers. And I'm extremely disappointed in jet2 for advertising this as 4 star when it quite clearly is not, we travelled to Tenerife with jet2 in April with a 4 star rating and the hotel was fab and everything we had hoped for so I am extremely disappointed that jet2 have spoiled our main family holidayMore
Ups and downs of the Eugenia Victoria
Having spent 7 out of 10 nights so far in the hotel, in all honesty it's not a bad hotel. Very clean, and the staff are nearly all very accommodating to your needs. We travelled as a family with kids/ adults of 19 and 16. To be honest, for the above ages it's just not for them, they do however have a games room with pool tables etc, however mine have not chosen to use this facility. From the start of the day, we had the towel run 😩, this was a real pain as a lie in would have been great on a few occasions, once the towels and beds are arranged, it's time to think about breakfast, this, once we actually got there ( as located on floor 6 meant hitting every stop in the lift on the way down) was very good with ample foods to suit everyone's tastes. Once out in the pool area, it was actually nice to see a life guard sticking little stickers onto chairs that had not been used in around a couple of hours or so, ( this due to the " lets put the towels out and go off back to bed people" ) it was sad to see some families walking aimlessly around the pool looking for space to sit with children and more importantly getting umbrellas for them. The aim of these stickers being that the towels were removed making up spaces, so personally a thumbs up for this, it was quite therapeutic seeing the people's faces when they finally appeared late in the day 👍👍😂. Lunch was again ok, you have a pool bar that serves up Chips, Burgers and Hot dog sausages, this however can get very busy, the three girls that work behind this bar deserve medals, it's truly non stop. If you fancy waiter service, there is another bar that serves pizza, and steak, this we have not enjoyed as yet, but does look good. It's also worth noting at this point that there is a bar located near the football/ basketball pitch that is a help yourself bar for drinks, here you can pour you own pint of beer or get coke, Fanta, orangeade etc, worth noting as not a lot of people are aware of this and tend to queue up for ages at the main bars for 6 cups of coke and its normally me that's behind them 😂. Evening meals as per the last reviewer mentioned could be a bit of a trial dependant on when you decide to have it so make sure you don't go on the hour ( everyone does 😂). Evening entertainment: if I hear Quando Quando Quando once more in my lifetime please shoot me 😂😂😂 It has been the same two people every night so far and although we have hit the bar at different times, I am sure it's the same playlist IN the same order. Pitfalls: In addition from the getting up early every day when on holiday 😂 The rooms were VERY hot, they have fans granted, but these just push the hot air down We ordered a fan from reception that is hired from a local company, this cost us €20 per week plus a €10 euro deposit, to be honest a worthwhile expenditure I believe, although it has to be asked why a hotel of this caliber does not have air conditioning. Water, they have several points in the hotel where you can collect water on tap, however, if you want a bottle it will cost you, a little advice: buy a large bottle outside of the hotel and use this to refill and place in your fridge in the room. Nightlife: sorry, this was not for us, we would have our evening meal, then get some drinks in quick!! This, ready for the evening entertainment ( I found alcohol did dull down the pain) listening to Quando bloody Quando and renditions of Neil Diamond hits was a bit much every night ( nothing against the legend Neil Diamond!) to be fair, they were very good, but, just not for us. Little tip, I know you've paid for all drinks, but just tip the waiters a little every now and again, they WILL look after you, I know you should not have too, but, reality here is if you don't tip, you will either have to go to the bar and fight the crowds Or wait at a table for a considerable time whilst they try and serve everyone. Once the drinks were finished we would exit the hotel and head to the Yumbo, this has a great nightlife and to be honest at €2 a pint, OR Buy one get one free, a great evening out, so many sights and sounds it's a must. So the big question, will we be back, YES Sadly not to this hotel, it's just not for us, however, a holiday is what you make of it, we have been to MUCH worse. More

The hotel is quite big in the back end of the resort, got a room on the 7th floor so the view was great, all rooms overlook the pool, and the rooms are really big with fans for air-conditioning,and a small fridge, the pool area is very big with loads of sunbeds, but you have to be up very early to get one, they become more available in the afternoon when it gets very hot and people go into shade, the pool is great, the only draw backs are the lifts get very busy around all meal times, speaking of which, the evening meals are aimed more at Continentals, but can usually find something, but hit the dinning room around 7/7:30 and it is everyone for themselves!,the outside dinning area is really nice if you can get a table, but dont expect to get an English breakfast, its awful,we went 100 yards up the road to an English bar for breakfast, the outside bar(Not the pool bar, thats always busy with all inclusive guests) is really good and never really had a problem getting served and found the staff ok,(smart dressed)..but the entertainment is not for the English, inside it is good for kids early on,then the grown up stuff starts, its mainly guys dressed up and singing, not for us,and then later the band at the outside bar start(9:30pm)..its all keyboard music with usually a Duo who play music aimed at the continentals..with lots of them dancing(ballroom)..which is entertaining on the first night, but happens every night...we would sit on the balcony and know what was coming next!...Overall this Hotel is aimed at Germans/Dutch for food & Entertainment...we enjoyed our stay, but felt a bit isolated as EnglishMore
