Booked this hotel as a present for my boyfriends 21st, after looking at several locations and countries to visit as we like busy towns and big hotels. I would say it's definitely the wrong hotel for young couples. Reception staff when checking in were nice and friendly. Other than that we never spoke to any other members of staff throughout the week. Most places we've been, receptionists check up to see if our stay is ok, even a call up to the room would have been good. Having no air con is a big issue as the ceiling fans do not do anything. The layout of the room for us, is strange. The beds are right by the front door and the 'lounge' area had the TV and lead to the balcony. Personally, it would be nice if the beds were in this room, as I like watching TV in bed sometimes and waking up to the pool view. the quality of food is good, although the choice is very poor. For an all inclusive stay a wide selection would be good, however both sides of the buffet section are the same. In fact the outside lunch is somewhat better than evening meal, as you can get lovely steaks on a hot plate. Although on our first day I had to ask a waitress 4 times if she could take our order and she replied 'one moment' each time, So this took half an hour. The spa facilities and the rooftop jacuzzi are amazing, definitely one positives of the holiday. Staff do work hard here and are always running around for us as customers, and they do get credit for that off us. Maybe with a family, this would be a good stay but not for a couple. More
Holiday with friends
The perfect place to stay just back from a weeks holiday with friends, everything you want under one roof, the rooms are spacious, clean and plenty of storage, the food was excellent, really enjoyed the wellness centre, the pool was brilliant as well, the staff were happy and helpful, will definitely be returningMore
Myself and my partner stayed here w/c 31st august. We were blown away! We couldnt fault the hotel. We stayed on floor 6 and our room was huge. The ceiling fans definately help with the heat. There is a rush for the sunbeds in the morning but to be honest, theres loads of them anyway and even if you come down at 10am, you can still get a bed. The spa is amazing. Its free to use and probably one of the best iv been to (and im a beauty therapist.) If you are all inclusive, you can dine on the terrace at lunch, and they serve steak on a hot stone which is lovely. The hot tub and nudist area on the top of the hotel is definately worth a visit. The safe costs 10€ deposit and then 2€ per day. The hotel is really well maintained. Its clean and we noticed the gardeners are always busy making the plants/trees look nice. The cleaners mop round the pool every morning and clean the sunbeds. Theres plenty to do at the hotel but the entertainment isnt great.More
Lovely hotel and very nice staff
Stayed for a week from 4th September 2017 to 11th September 2017. My wife and I were very impressed with the hotel. Check in was very easy. We arrived at 9.30pm and a light buffet was provided as we had missed the evening dinner sitting. The breakfast was very nice and lunch and evening meals were excellent. The bar staff were very friendly and the two ladies that worked in the pool snack bar were brilliant. They both sang away while serving - happy at work. The hotel is a short walk from the Yumbo and not much further takes you down to the Kasbah or Irish centre. We went out at night after dinner to meet friends in other hotels so seen very little of the evening entertainment, but what we did see was spot on. We read a few reviews before going and can't see why anyone would criticise this hotel or hotel staff. It does exactly what it says on the tin and we will definitely return to this hotel again. We would like to thank Eugenia Victoria for a lovely holiday More
Very hot hotel
The hotel was sometimes unbearable due to the lack of aircon in the rooms and the main parts of the hotel. Although the facilities were great, the spa is really fantastic the lack of air conditioning made it an uncomfortable stay. The beach front where the shops are and the local centre of restaurants are very outdated. The entertainment was pretty poor. One night was a fashion show that consisted of two woman parading around in their clothes for an hour. Not very entertaining! Food was nice especially if you enjoy steak! Would not return unless the hotel fitted air conditioning. We had to pay to hire fans and the receptionist told us to 'book a 4 star next time!' More
