Newly renovated, this smart complex sits just a ten-minute walk from the centre of the resort. And the golden sands are a leisurely 20-minute stroll away or a couple of euros by cab. When you want to switch off and just relax though, the Jardin del Sol is just the place. Sat in gorgeous gardens dotted with flowers, plants and palm trees – it's a world away from bustling Playa Del Ingles. At the heart of it all is a generous-sized swimming pool. Lagoon-shaped, it's sunk into a roomy terrace with sun loungers, parasols and a pool bar. And it's backed by manicured lawns so you can sunbathe away from the splashes, too. Relaxation aside, there's plenty going on to keep you busy. Take your pick from squash, pool, giant chess and the like. There's also a TV room on site, if you fancy ducking out of the sun for a while. For kids, there's a covered playground and a separate children's pool. Not much entertainment in apartment but you don't need any more that Playa del Inglis has to offer. Took my teenage (never satisfied) daughter and her friend. They loved it. They had lots of freedom and felt safe the whole time. Nice and clean.... more on this review
