The Hotel Lopesan Villa del Conde and Thalasso is in the southern part of Gran Canaria, right on the coast. The hotel is designed in a traditional Canarian style, most obviously in the impressive reception lobby - a typical Gran Canarian church with two towers, bell tower and central dome - while the facade is covered in hewn stones.
The resort is more like a village than a hotel, with its terraces and spacious patio areas. Set 800 metres away from the golden Maspalomas beach backed by windswept dunes, it is not hard to see why many visitors consider it to be the most beautiful of all the areas on the island. Just a 10-15 minute walk will take you to the paved promenade of Meloneras offering a variety of shops and restaurants, where you can enjoy a drink and meal overlooking the sea.
