If you like the sound of Canarian bungalows, pretty gardens, and a peaceful pool, this place will be right up your street.
The ace in the pack at these bungalows is their peaceful, private setting. Everything’s surrounded by pretty gardens, including a curvy pool that comes with a snack bar dishing out fast food snacks.
Whitewashed walls and green shutters give the bungalows a traditional feel. They’re nice and airy, too, with bright white walls, cool tiled floors, and a furnished terrace. Cooking essentials like a fridge, hob, and toaster can be found in the kitchenette. And there’s a minimarket right in front of the hotel for when the cupboards are looking a bit Old Mother Hubbard. Alternatively, make tracks for the buffet restaurant located within the nearby sister hotel, Cordial Green Golf, which is paired with an al fresco terrace.
Although you’re in a serene spot, Maspalomas’ beach, prom, and restaurants are only 10 minutes away on the free shuttle bus. Plus, you’ve got a golf course as your next door neighbour.
These light and airy bungalows with their whitewashed walls and colourful soft furnishings can sleep up to three. They come with a twin bedroom and a single sofa-bed in the lounge. Plus, a kitchenette with microwave-oven, a hob, toaster, coffee-maker and fridge. Maid service is five times a week. Cots are available, too.
We stayed for 9 nights in #1 which was right besides reception. The bungalows are just enough for the two of us. Basic but all we needed. The grounds and pool area are beautifully kept and the maid cleans 5 days a week. The staff are all friendly, some more than others, the guy in the pool bar/cafe was the best. Wifi was non existent in our bungalow despite being beside reception? Good reception around the pool tho. We loved how quiet it was and but for a few Spanish kids running across our patio a couple of times loved our time in Sandy Golf. Will return ðMore

Just gets better
Went for 10 days in July, the weather was superb as always, the bungalows are the cleanest I've have ever stayed in, the maids are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
This July the sandy golf was fully booked and was quite busy but because the pool and patio is so large there is always plenty of space, there are a few steps going into the pool with a handrail, I think this pool and resort would benefit having a ramp into the pool making it more accessible for disabled people, my husband is in a wheelchair an although he can manage the steps with the size of the pool there ismplentynofmroom for a ramp, nice new sun loungers this year too.
A big hello to Carlos on reception very friendly and very helpful and again always a smile on his face and a hola when you walk past reception they will also order your taxi into plays del ingles for you, if you don't fancy the walk.
Enjoyed coffee or a couple of beers depending on the time With breakfast and a toasted sandwich with eggs and bacon salad for only 3.30 euros, yet again very friendly staff Cristo Perez was on most mornings we were there, such a helpful waiter. Disable friendly with ramps into the diner or jus sit outside there are disabled toilets inside here, they are the only ones, there are no adaptions in the bungalows.
Overall very enjoyable holiday again and thanks to carmen at head office for the phone call because we were back for a second time and a trip advisor contributor we were given 40 euros in vouchers to spend while we were there.
Will definelty visit again, we were in bungalow 89 which is half way round and the wifi was excellent there was a small mast on the lamppost outside the bungalow and was very speedy, unfortunelty we moved bungalows to be near family no. 78 and it wasn't so good, so wished we never moved for more reasons than one and as it was a different way round my husband had difficulty moving around the bathroom
Bravo sandy golf see you soon

Peaceful relaxing holiday
Excellent, well maintained holiday complex, quiet and walking distance to both the main resort and beach. Staff very friendly, and helpful. Bungalows were very comfortable and well furnished. Ideal for a relaxing stress free holiday. When we visited in late June, it was just starting to get a little busier, but around the pool wasn't over busy. It was very quiet at night time and we just felt so at home. We would recommend the complex for couples and for young families. Many of the people we met had been visiting for years and all commented upon how the company have a policy of continually upgrading the facilities. We could not find fault and certainly will return. A couple of tips, if you are booking independently, Sandy Golf is accessible on public transport from the airport in the day. Alternatively, taxis are reasonably priced. Best night out was a visit to the open air cinema nearby. It is amazing.More

First holiday abroad in 10yrs and wasn't disappointed
First time staying at the Bungalows Cordial Sandy Golf and it was fantastic. Traveled with my partner and Daughter (7). We are definitely going to return in the future as we only had a week in Gran Canaria and there is much more to explore on the island. The bungalows were very clean and had everything we needed. The maids changed the bedding and towels several times throughout the week. The bungalows have an outside area with loungers and table/chairs, and another little private area to hang washing out. We had number 33 on the roadside and it was very quiet no problem with any noise at all. Beach took us half hour steady walk. Wifi didn't work in bungalow but not bothered about that by the pool was best.
We stayed half board so meals were across the road at the sister hotel Cordial Green Golf. We had breakfast and evening meal and there was always plenty of choice and slightly different everyday. The waiter's there are brilliant, constantly cleaning tables and fetching drinks over within seconds of ordering them..they was fab.
The reception staff are great, very friendly and helpful. On arrival it was about 10pm and they told us to go over to the sister hotel as we had missed the restaurant and they had left us some food to take back to the bungalow. It was about 13 Euros to hire the safe for a week which is a must on holiday. We booked several trips through the reception which was easy, one of which was the dolphin tour in Puerto Rico, it was fantastic and the coach picked us up from the hotel and took us back again. There is a free shuttle bus outside the hotel to take you to the beach or Playa Del Ingles. Taxis come past the hotel every couple of minutes too.
We also got tickets for Aqualand which was a brilliant full day out. There is a local bus just round the corner which we waited forever to turn up and on the way back was too full for us to get on which was really annoying because we had paid just over 8 euros for a return ticket. We ended up getting a taxi because there was streams of them right outside the place and it was only 5 euros back to the hotel so would of been 10 euros there and back and only took 10 mins. so i would recommend taxis every where.
The pool area at the hotel was good as we spent a lot of time there because it was so hot it was nice to dip in and out of the pool to cool, down. It didn't matter what time of day we went to the pool there was always some free sunbeds. There is a snack cafe/bar by the pool which served really tasty pizza and pasta and worth trying.
On our last day our flight wasn't til 9pm so we had to leave our luggage at reception because check out is at 12 noon. We spent the rest of that day by the beach and pool and when we went to collect our luggage at the end of the day the reception guy offered us a free bungalow to get showered before our flight which i thought was nice.
Overall this hotel is a very quiet & relaxing place to stay, don't go expecting nightlife and shows because there isn't any. Just a short taxi away for all that.More
