If you like the sound of Canarian bungalows, pretty gardens, and a peaceful pool, this place will be right up your street.
The ace in the pack at these bungalows is their peaceful, private setting. Everything’s surrounded by pretty gardens, including a curvy pool that comes with a snack bar dishing out fast food snacks.
Whitewashed walls and green shutters give the bungalows a traditional feel. They’re nice and airy, too, with bright white walls, cool tiled floors, and a furnished terrace. Cooking essentials like a fridge, hob, and toaster can be found in the kitchenette. And there’s a minimarket right in front of the hotel for when the cupboards are looking a bit Old Mother Hubbard. Alternatively, make tracks for the buffet restaurant located within the nearby sister hotel, Cordial Green Golf, which is paired with an al fresco terrace.
Although you’re in a serene spot, Maspalomas’ beach, prom, and restaurants are only 10 minutes away on the free shuttle bus. Plus, you’ve got a golf course as your next door neighbour.
These light and airy bungalows with their whitewashed walls and colourful soft furnishings can sleep up to three. They come with a twin bedroom and a single sofa-bed in the lounge. There's maid service five times a week. Cots are available.
Almost loathe to submit a review as don't wan't everyone muscling in on our lovely find! But was so pleased with our stay that needed to give praise where due. From booking in to leaving, the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. This goes for reception cleaners, maintenance and snack bar staff. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere with no fighting for sunbeds either!! Would recommend the 5-10 minute walk to the Faro 2 for the well-stocked and reasonably priced HyperDino supermarket and The Hawaii Bar and Restaurant. We heard The Steak House there is also good. Don't be put off that much of that small shop complex is shut. 15 minutes or so to walk into Meloneras for many restaurants and the beach and dunes...only about 3 euros by taxi. We will be adding ourselves to the list of frequently returning guests to Cordial Sandy Golf!!More

"The Twilight Zone!"
This is possiblythe worst property I have stayed in to date. On arrival, the male receptionist checking us in was abrupt and unfriendly. It was our first visit to the area and he gave us no information regarding anything which may have been helpful i.e nearest shop, taxi rank, courtesy shuttle bus timetable and location etc.. All information had to dragged out of him and his manner was impatient, bordering on rude.
Things went downhill from there, the main complaints include:
-Bungalows are tiny, ours was for 3 adults and there were only two of us, pictures on website for these bungalows are totally misleading. We didn't expect the place to be huge but these bungalows are SO small, make sure you are good friends with your companion!
-smell of cats around the bungalows is very offputting when sitting out.
-one hairdryer for the entire complex.
-not enough hot water for showers for two people each evening which meant a wait in between while the water heated up. The water tank is visible at the back of the bungalow, it is obviously too small for two people not to mention three.
-door of apartment very difficult to lock, saw lots of other people strugglng with theirs also.
- kettle had to be put on one of the two ceramic burners to boil, this took approx 20 min each time.
-the internet access is very limited, it drops the signal frequently
- nearest shop in sister hotel coodial green golf has pretty limited stock, opening hours were not as advertised either which meant we were stuck for provisions on one occasion.
-good sized pool
We did complain to the manager regarding some of these issues, he was very polite and attentive and gave us some vouchers for complimentary meals in Cordial Green Golf.
We had lunch there on our first day good pizza, slow service.
The lunch we had using the vouchers involved a different, very limited menu, grilled beef and salad which was fine, spagetti bolonanise which was sweet and had a very strange texture like baby food. We didn't have the energy to complain.
We tried breakfast there also using the vouchers, the food was typical buffet style, practically everything processed and poor quality, nothing hot, all hot food was lukewarm at best. The male waiter serving at the breakfast service was possibly the rudest man I have ever met, even worse than the male receptionist!! This man did not have a name badge but he was an older man. This is like the place that time forgot and with a bit of luck, I will forget about it pretty soon too, never again!More

Sandy Golf Bungalows, Maspalomas
I had an excellent stay at Sandy Golf Bungalows.
The pool was gorgeous, the gardens beautifully maintained with indigineous shrubs, plants and lawns; the cleaning staff did a great job every day and the reception staff Mabel, Rafael and Carlos were most obliging and Cordial!
I will definitely been returning!
Thank you for a great stay!More
We chose this accommodation for a value for money week of very lazy sunshine.
Site: Very clean and well maintained. Bar serving drinks and light meals adjacent to pool. Circular pool of a generous size with plenty of sun loungers.
Reception/Housekeeping: All staff were pleasant, attentive, professional and helpful.
Bungalow: A little dated but very clean and with all facilities we required. There is no air conditioning which may be an issue in the height of summer.
Locale: The property appears to be in the middle of a larger development which seems to have come to a halt a couple of years ago. This means that many pavements are incomplete or non existent. There are no bars or restaurants within close walking distance and therefore we took a taxi most evenings to Meloneras or Playa Del Ingles - each journey costs no more than four euros. We ate out most evenings however many restaurants seemed to have pretty much the same menu. Two excellent exceptions are A. Gaudi and Donosti (see separate reviews).
Overall, this represents great value for money and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful break in the sun - as long as they don't mind a short taxi ride to find a little more activity.More
Great place, service, facilities
Fantastic pool, warm, cleaned with salt chlorinators so it doesnt smell of chloride and is more pleasant to swim in.
Plenty of beds at the pool and of good quality and soft
Even the food at the pool bar is ok-freshly made pizzas, pastas.
Lovely garden thanks to which each bungalow has a lot of privacy.
Very friendly staff
Great location- very relaxing, quiet yet closeby the going out areas.an easy access to Maspalomas beach-its a great, half an hr walk along river bed. Also playa del ingles is at a walking distance and gives you a nice view over the dunes. Cab to both places is about 3,5â¬More
