This family-friendly hotel comes with top entertainment for children and a laid-back pool scene for adults.
This place has got family holidays nailed, thanks to a great pool scene that includes a splash park. And it’s a TUI Family Life hotel, which means top kids’ clubs and child-friendly shows.
The bedrooms were given a stylish new look in 2016. And it’s also worth knowing that this property is part of a trio of hotels, sharing facilities with the TUI Family Life Las Pitas and the TUI Family Life Playa Feliz.

There really is hours of entertainment for little ones in this fountain and slide filled shallow pool. Even better there are sunbeds you can keep a watchful eye from, plus there's another pool right next to it for older ones and family fun.

good for children
This is an excellent hotel for children, If you are adults without children, and want a peaceful holiday, you may struggle. The buffet food is perfectly fine for a buffet, plenty of choice . The outside area is lovely for lunch, and there is also another large room inside, which is quieter than the general buffet area. I was impressed by the bathroom (always the first thing I look at) excellent shower, loads of room for toiletries. The beds are comfortable, quite firm, the wardrobe and drawer space is very generous, I was disappointed by the Tapas restaurant , I have had much better tapas in London, having said that the atmosphere was very good, live music, and a friendly feel, we had a very enjoyable evening,,More
This is our 2nd stay in this hotel and the refurbishment that has been done from last year after we left is great lovely atmosphere some people could do with smiling more but non the less you treat people the way they treat you anyway the food is great shopping is fab if you are like me and like the real deal and not the fake stuff just be careful in some of the shopping centres like the yumbo centre but I recommend the mint company excellent range of clothes and the espania supercar circuit and helicopter ride back to the hotel though I noticed the 1st time we were here the hotel cats 4 or them jar a warning if you don't want poop on your feet don't go on the sand area where you pay for loungers saw cats using it for the toilet a few times but all in all this is a great hotel More
Just back from a week at the Orqueida Hotel. Very pleased with the split level room with the tea/coffee facilities, plus a safe for no extra cost and the good sized balcony. Plenty of lovely food to choose from and the Adult Only eating area was a great idea. Lots of room and sunbeds around the pools. All the staff were very friendly throughout the hotel. The reason for not awarding 5 stars is because I was disappointed by the description of "beach front hotel". I was expecting a larger sandy beach rather than the mainly rocky frontage. Bahir Feliz is small and a distance from the other resorts. There are some restaurants and shops close by and car hire, buses and taxis are all available to visit the other resorts.More
Fantastic Holiday on my own!
Recently separated, I have started to venture on holiday on my own. I can't fault the hotel! I can't fault the food. AI is what it is, but the quality, quantity and variety and selection was brilliant. I don't eat a great deal and probably the only thing I would suggest is a few more fresh vegetables in the evening, but this is a personal thing. The salad selection - replenished, fresh and every different type of salad and dressing or topping available lunch and evening. I don't drink much alcohol, but do like a drop of Sangria. The sangria from the bar was ok, but the huge punch bowl in the dining room was lovely! I can't comment on the entertainment as I've done all that when my kids were small. I was given a lovely quiet room on the corner of the hotel overlooking the spa and the adult pool. I had a lovely, very private balcony that was sunny from about noon every day and into the evening when the sun went down. overlooked the sea. Floor 4. Rooms are really comfortable and nice aspect with the split level. The Thompson staff are all amazing and very helpful and friendly without being a nuisance. I'd like to mention Dan, lovely young man who was very helpful and friendly. Travelling on my own I thought I may be a little bothered by children as this was a 'Family' advertised hotel. I wasn't bothered in the slightest. The hotel has thought of 'single' guests, providing a large 'adults only' area in the restaurant and there are loads of areas to sit away from the pool area that are quiet. It was nice that you could use the facilities in the adjacent hotel. Easy to get around, bus stop is 4 minute walk - loads of buses in either direction and cheap too. Loads of lovely beaches along the coast. Bahia Feliz is windy - nothing that the hotel or Thompson can do about that! Overall, I had one of the best holidays I could have wished for. I hope is helps other single holiday makers!More

An enjoyable stay
We have actually come back here three times over the past 6 years. We were happy to see that this time the hotel has been renovated. The wifi is also much better. Still only one of the pools is warmed up and now that the weather hasn't. Even that warm , you can't swim in the colder ones. The breakfast buffe is very nice but try to go down around seven before there are to many people there. There is a special section for grown ups which is nice and if you do not have kids. Not far from the hotel there is a selection of restaurants and a cafe which serves a great lunch pie. The restaurants are ok but they are all very similar and serve fries to many of the courses. If you want to be active there is tennis , or you can jog by the water . I can recommend this hotel, it's very nice and the surroundings are beautiful and very well taken care off.More
