location at the top of a small hill. Rooms very clean. Facilities for self catering also. All rooms had small balconies. Food excellent both in variety and standard. well presented.I had to congratulate the head of the restaurant on all aspects of the place. Only negative...â¬25 for the use of the safe for a week! Small supermarket in the hotel at local prices.More

Great holiday, lovely hotel.
Myself, my wife and a friend of ours had a 2 bedroom apartment (room 4303) during the first week in February 2017. Never having stayed here before, we normally stay at the H10 in Meloneras , I was a little concerned that we would be disappointed with the Monte Feliz, I shouldn't have worried. Although it doesn't have the extras of the 5 star hotel it more than made up for it in friendliness, cleanliness and room facilities. We stayed B&B choosing to eat out every night in the restaurants that are in and around the square down the hill (ok going down but got steeper coming back as the week wore on !!). The apartment was excellent with two large double bedrooms, remember abroad a double bed tends to be two large singles pushed together, a lounge area with table, chairs a settee and a small kitchen area with 3 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle etc , everything you could need if you were self catering. The bathroom was very modern with an over bath shower and plenty of hot water. There was a small balcony with a table and chairs, we overlooked the childrens water park area and out to sea.The balcony got the afternoon and evening sun, a lovely place to sit and watch the sun go down with a cool beer! There is a TV in the room, you have to pay extra if you want the remote to use it, we didn't bother ,we were on holiday and you pay extra for wifi in the room. We just used the free wifi in the bar and reception area to check messages etc. There is also a large fridge freezer which was handy for keepinmg water, drinks etc cool. The standard of cleanliness was amazing , we swore that if we stood still long enough someone would come over and dust us!! We've never seen so many staff cleaning both inside and outside around the pools and gardens. The main pool area does become busy during the day, although a "no reservation of sunbeds" is supposed to operate we didn't see it imposed at all and some beds remained "towelled but free" from 8.00am late afternoon which could be annoying. We tended to be out walking along the coast in the morning and when we got back we settled by the children's water play area which was in full sun and always empty. I can't understand why the parents with small children opted to squeeze in by the main pool when the children's area, a lovely safe place, remained almost empty. Some of the softer yellow sunbeds would be nice in that area rather than the hard white plastic ones. As we were on B&B we only, except for one night, had breakfast in the restaurant, as you would expect it served the usual range of cooked food, cold meats, breads etc. The one night we ate in we enjoyed a lovely roast pork meal, with all the trimmings, starter salad and sweets all for 12 Euros per person, excellent value. We also had one meal from the pool bar at lunchtime and again it was excellent. All the staff were first class, special mention for Victor and Edwardo in the restaurant and the girls on reception, as well as the cleaners!! We had a couple of problems in the room, only 2 chairs on the balcony for 3 people and the bathroom lock was very stiff. Both problems were sorted out immediately on contacting reception with a chair being brought up straight away and the bathroom lock replaced whilst we were in breakfast, smashing service. A good sign of a holiday is would you return to the hotel again? All 3 of us agreed when we were leaving that we would have no hesitation in returning to the Monte Feliz.More
Good value to money, rooms were big and lovely furnished. Pool area is exelent when travelling with kids. From bahia feliz is eazy to go every where to the island. Monte feliz has a good snack bar where u can order food while kids are swimming in a pool. Our family loved the place and location. Maybe we will come here again.More
Peaceful place up in the hill
Monte Feliz is a nice family friendly hotel. Rooms/apartments are spatious. Breakfast buffet is quite good, at least you have plenty of choice. Same goes with buffet dinner (incl. in half board), although quality varies a bit. Pool is is ok, but usually quite crowded (and people are reserving sunchairs with towels eventhough it's forbidden). Nearby is a shopping center offering about 10 restaurants and a supermarket. 10 min walk to beach, which is quite rocky (and huge waves). Carting also nearby. Bahia Feliz is "an island" and practically invaded by TUI hotels. It is clean and peaceful neighbourhood, but often windy.More

Great Family Resort
Five of us travelled jan. 17. We stayed at Monte Feliz on the recommendation of our travel agency...... she wasn't wrong. Typical Spanish hotel located in a quiet neighbourhood off the motorway but all nearby resorts including the lively ones easily accessible by local bus or taxi at fixed prices. Stayed in a 2 bed apartment self catering in block 4. The room was clean, tidy and all facilities provided. Extra keycards available for all family members no problem. Bring knife with serrated edge for breads. No tea towel or washing liquid required as provided. Large flat screen TV in the room but no remote, Aircon unit new but again no remote or switch or instruction as to where these are available. Bath/Shower good for about 3 to 4 hot showers .Small lift to all floors. WiFi in all rooms extra charge. Good Gym in basement again extra charge. Spa health centre in basement again extra charge. Staff kind and helpful and egar to please especially young kids with kids club also available. Food available in Restaurant which can get crowded at busy times. Excellent value meals with basic but good food to suit all. Possible complaint.... food could be hoter ! Breckie and evening meals served as Buffet... eat all you want. A la carte menu also available again at great value prices. Pool area large with supervision and kids pool. Well maintained gardens and kids play area. Complete area well fenced and safe. Reception..... usual Spanish effectiveness. Issue with our room..... sorted within 2 hrs. Bar ONLY has happy hr on cocktails, local beer and pool table good. Onsite shop with all u cud ask 4 at reasonable prices which is a consideration as the hotel is situated on a hill top and the local village is DOWNHILL..... U will be FIT after this holiday as Supermarket and restaurants are DOWNHILL so after getting food/drinks its UPHILL to bed. Consider this if your kids are in buggies. The Resort is very family centred....... forget it for single party animals, unless your trying to recover. I would highly recommend this hotel for families or older active people..... Enjoy !More
