Looking forward to returning here!!!!
This is our 2nd visit here and we weren't disappointed. Fabulous quiet location, brilliantly helpful and friendly staff, great choice of meals in either the restaurant or as bar snacks. Our room was clean and very well located with a great view of the hills behind the hotel and if you looked to your left you could also see the sea! Work was going on to update the hotel but we had been told about this in advance and the noise etc was kept to a minimum thanks to the thoughtfulness of the workers who did everything they could to not inconvenience the guests. We asked in advance for a lower floor room and the hotel management were very helpful in sorting this for us. If you are looking for a place with lots of entertainment then this is NOT the place for you but if you want a relaxing quiet time there's nowhere better suited! All in all I just cannot find fault with either the staff or the hotel...the best review I can give is that my wife and I are seriously thinking of returning here every year for a quiet relaxing week.More
We arrived here for 2 weeks in may my wife who is disabled and 3yr old grand daughter on arriving were given instructions of how to get to the room a few of the elevators are out of order, so had the long way around to negotiate with luggage that contained 6 cases no assistance offered . We found the room quite pleasing although quite a lot of noise from the road outside the room it was spacious and quite comfortable, there is wifi in the room that needs to be paid for, also a tv which works out at 20⬠a week quite ridiculous this day and age,the safe in the room also needs to be paid for. On visiting the pool during the weekend is absolutely packed with invading Spanish weekenders walking around half naked and finding a sun-bed is near impossible,as is a parking space so if your hiring a car expect a torrid time parking especially if you are disabled. there are no disabled spaces whatsoever, my car is currently parked at the bottom of a hill if l'm going out l'll need to drive around the 1 way system to pick my wife up. There is also a on site bar and restaurant the service is extremely slow and seems to take forever even if there is only 3 or 4 people waiting to be served thats just to get a pint, l cannot comment on the food waiting times because we never ordered any. There is a small shop on site but is pricey, but there is a supermarket down the hill it's a bit better but still more expensive than the larger shops, there is also a few restaurants in a square at the bottom of the hill some were fine but nothing that stood out as outstanding. The hotel is around 7miles from playa de ingles and cost around 10⬠each way there is basically nothing in between hence the need for a car if you plan on do a bit of shopping or sight seeing. My run in with reception came after being unable to find a parking space was told-by security l could park in a marked area then getting a call from reception to be told l needed to move the car before they had it towed away,on speaking to several of them found them arrogant and unhelpful, even though they insisted they were being kind and no longer understood english none were helpful in anyway whatsoever. l also encountered the same attitude when l enquired about a late checkout now face an 8 hour wait before departure , this being to the hoard of spanish at the weekend and even if you've been there on holiday for 2 weeks don't expect any favours you won't get any.More
Excellent complex which has everything you need
We have just returned from a great long weekend at Monte Feliz. The complex has everything you need, lovely clean spacious apartments with very comfortable beds.it was very quiet in the rooms and all three rooms (across two apartments) had sea and garden views. The pool area was really pleasant and despite it being a weekend and there being a lot of children around, as a group of adults we were undisturbed by this, which in part was due to the very proactive life guard. The pool is right next to a very nice bar which served very nice snacks. Only thing to flag up here is that by the door into this bar there are lots of signs advertising the happy hour, however on paying for our drinks when leaving the bar we were informed the offer did not apply to this bar, but another one inside the complex, which is slightly misleading given all the signs on entry to the pool side bar. The buffet breakfast was very good and on our second day we took advantage of a half board offer which included an evening meal (which whilst not as tasty as breakfast was very affordable). The complex is close to the beach and a lovely square of restaurants and shops which offer very good food. Would visit again. Thank you. More
We have just had a week at this lovely hotel.this is the second time we have stayed there I phoned the hotel to have the same room and they were very happy to do this.the apartment is large with basic cooking facilities house keeping kept everything spotless.all the staff are very friendly and helpful we were self catering but ate at the restaurant a few times the food was very good and a reasonable price. Nice pool area plenty of sun beds and umbrellas one of the lifeguards was so happy and friendly he came round and spoke to everyone was very good with all the children every lunch time he did a work out which was brilliant as everyone one had such a laugh doing it. If you are looking for great budget hotel this is it. More
