"A surreally beautiful, never-ending beach with all the holiday essentials – Jandia is pure joy for beach and watersports enthusiasts."
Love the idea of a beach that you can't find the end of? C'mon in. Perched on the south east corner of Fuerteventura with an awe-inspiring beach running to the north, Jandia is joy incarnate for everyone who loves feeling the sand beneath their toes. It's true this modern resort wouldn't win many awards for its traditional Spanish charm. But it's got what you need by way of restaurants, shops and tapas bars along its beachfront and in its modern, whitewashed centre, so what more could you want? When you're spending every spare minute on a surreally beautiful beach, all you need is the holiday essentials. Even at night, when you drag your sand-baked body home, there's a nice line in vibrant music bars if you're up for some late-night socialising. Let's rewind to the beach for a moment. Running for an unbelievable 32 kilometres, it's an absolute humdinger. There are gorgeous white cashmere-soft sands. Warm turquoise seas that twinkle on the horizon. And a delightful cooling breeze that makes the waters perfect not just for families, but for windsurfers, water-skiers and scuba-divers. All clasped into place by an immense blue sky. Whether you're here to perfect that all-over tan, de-stress over a good book or polish your surfing or windsurfing skills, it's the stuff of dreams. If you manage to shake free from the beach's grip, which believe us will be a hard task, rent a jeep and drive to Morro Jable just along the coast. More traditional than Jandia, this pan-tiled town has grown from a small fishing village into a popular resort. Blessed with a lovely expanse of golden sand, its quaint harbour and seafront is home to numerous fish restaurants - each perfect for feasting on Fuerteventuran delicacies as the sun goes down.

The soft sands of Jandia follow the coast for an incredible 32 kilometres. The coastal breezes make them a brilliant choice for experienced windsurfers, while the calm, warm waters make it popular with families.
There is a small concentrated selection of good restaurants and tapas bars, offering both local and international cuisine. Why not try some of the more traditional culinary delights which can be found at Morro Jable?
Evenings in Jandia are all about good food, good wine and good company. There are a number of lively bars and cafes located along the beach front, while the centre of town is host to a few late night bars.
Tourist shops line the beach front. Amongst these look out for some tax-free bargains, such as perfumes and electronics, but keep an eye out for those alternative brand names. There is also one fairly large and ever-expanding shopping centre.
If you can drag yourself away from the golden sands and beautiful sea, it is worth visiting the typically Canarian fishing village of Morro Jable which adjoins Jandia. While for the more adventurous hiking is available in Jandia Nature Park.
