Set back on a hillside overlooking the ocean, the Villas Castillo lay out lemon-hued villas less than a five-minute drive – or a 20-minute walk – from the beach and golf courses of Costa Caleta.
Private pools and lounger-stocked terraces come as standard at the Villas Castillo. And each property is served up with a side order of wide-angle ocean views.
Self-catering is made easy at the Villas Castillo, thanks to the good-sized kitchenettes with dishwashers and stoves. Extras like 32-inch flat screens and DVD players also kit out the living areas.

Beautiful Villas - quite hard to find
Just returned from 2 weeks at these lovely villas. We had booked a transfer company as this was our first visit to Fuerteventura/Caleta De Fuste as we thought they would know where they were - but no. The transfer company rep was very helpful and spent an hour trying to find a driver who knew where they were but no luck - she even spoke to a taxi driver. Luckily I had printed a photo of the villas with the address and a couple of reviews from Tripadviser and eventually a driver was found who thought he knew the area. He got us into the area and stopped and asked someone who fortunately knew where the were - phew! The drivers were looking for a detailed street map, showing the villas. To be fair to the transfer company, I think we were the first people they had taken as most people get a taxi (probably best if they know where they are going). They do know now as the coach did return for us at the end of our 2 weeks but we had already prebooked a taxi as we were not confident they would come back for us - we did apologise to the coach driver. I believe this area could be known as chipmunk mountain or officially montana blanco. Now to the best part - the villa. We has a 2 bed on 3 floors - the private pool was very special. We have not had such a relaxing holiday ever and this will be a very hard act to follow. The villa is very spacious with 1 double room with jacuzzi bath with shower overhead and twin whbs - 1 twin room and 2 shower rooms. Laundry room in the basement and sun terrace on the roof. Maid service 3 times per week to clean, towels and sheets. We saw the pool man 3 times but know he was there more often we just were not up early enough! The villas are a 20 minute walk downhill to the Montecastillo Centre - we had a nice meal in the Bollywood Spices and 2 evenings of entertainment at Chaplins Bar. This centre has a supermarket but it has to be said that it is quite rundown. 10 minutes further on is the El Castillo Centre which is newer, bigger and has numerous shops, bars and restaurants. No 1 all-rounder has to be Pieros Music Cafe and restaurant for food, prices, service and different shows every night (it does get very busy but we found if we went down around 8pm for a meal in the restaurant then this is your table for the evening). They do not allow people to sit in the restaurant just for a drink until much later. Top of our purely restaurant experience is The Wild West - again for food, prices and service. Both the staff in Pieros and The Wild West have to work very hard and quickly - well done. It suited us more to do 2 large shops instead of topping-up and we found the Euro-spar at the Atlantico Centre the best (very cheap and a huge range including fresh meat and fish). Taxi rank outside this centre and the El Castillo - very cheap taxi fares. A taxi is a must to go back up the hill to the villas (less than 4 euros) unless you are some kind of fitness fanatic!More
Hired 3 bedroom 2 bathroom Villa at Villa Castillo. Villa facilities were great but lacking air con which would have improved my overall opinion of the Villa. Location was a good 20-25 min walk from main resort so more suited to able bodied people but if you want relaxation and peace then this is ideal. If not so active then a taxi is only €3 to the Atlantico Shopping Centre. I've been to Caleta De Fuste about 6 times in the last 3 years and if eating out then the best restaurant in my opinion is the Fado Rock.More
Not bad at all
Very nice place, about 25 min walk to the beach/ town centre- there were 4 of us, but we got 4 bedroom one- there was so much space for us it was unbelievable! The pool gets cleaned every day, the place gets cleaned on regular basis too, highly recommend to anyone really. The nice lady who works in reception is very friendly and helpful too!More
Villas Castillo in March
Myself, partner, and two sons visited Villas Castillo for 10 days during March. We were upgraded to a 4 bedroom villa, instead of the 2 bedroom we had booked. Absolutely gorgeous! And great views! Wifi! Had problems with this working. But the lady who is always at reception was a great help. Stuck to her word and got it sorted for us, even if it did take 2 days. Pool is lovely. But not heated. Kids happily got in though. If your up and outside early the pool man tends to not disturb you, but think otherwise he comes to check/clean the pool every morning. Nearest supermarket is a 20 minute walk. There's quite a few bars and restaurants surrounding this is you didn't want to walk into Caleta de Fuste (which is around a half an hour walk from villa) Maids came to clean villa and change sheets and towels twice in the week. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The walk back up the hill to the villa was a nightmare at the end of the day, but u can always get a taxi easily. We'd definitely stay there again More
WOW WOW WOW Villa with a view!
When we arrived at the airport we got a taxi. The villa is about 15 minutes from the airport and cost less than 15 euros, you can see the airport from the end of the road. The driver clearly had no idea where we were staying and dropped us on the edge of Castillo Beach Villas at a roundabout and left us at the bottom of the hill. Please don't let that happen to you, the driver must go up the hill almost to the top and stop at the reception at the first house on the right on the second road from the top on Doramas Street, if that makes sense. We managed to get some help from a receptionist in the resort and a taxi came to take us to where we were supposed to be. That was a bit of a nightmare but that is the only bad part of our holiday. We were taken our 4 bed Villa on 21 Tamonante Street. Wow, it was huge and very well fitted and set over 3 floors. Master bedroom had his and hers sinks, whirlpool bath with shower and its own terrace. There were 3 more bedrooms, 2 twin and 1 double. Large lounge diner, fitted kitchen, laundry room with washing machine, 2 more bathrooms, a pool room with 2 sofas, its own pool with sunbeds, roof terrace, and another terrace leading from the lounge diner with outdoor table. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board, towels including beach towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups etc all provided. Free Wifi. No air con though, needed to open doors and windows at night to get a breeze to cool us down. We were very surprised and very pleased with the villa as a whole. The view overlooked Caleta de Fuste and its amazing, it never ceased to amaze me whether by day or by night it was stunning. We asked at the reception for a barbecue which was given to us and we cooked on it twice during our week on the middle terrace and ate outside which was great. The pool is not large but it was perfectly adequate for us to play pool games in and cool off. The pool man came most days to clear out the pool. Our bedding and towels were changed twice during the week. A supermarket is about 15 minute walk down the hill in the centre of the Beach Villas resort, the supermarket will call a taxi for you to take you back up the hill. There are also bars and resorts there. It is quite a hill and if you have mobility problems this is not a place for you. Taxis are plentiful from the town. There are lots of bars and places to eat in the town. Pieros have live music every night, the entertainment is very good but get there early to get a table, they get very busy. We are already planning our return for next year. We loved it. It comes highly recommended. There are 2 bed, 3 bed and 4 bed villas available. I have been to some 5 star all in hotels in the past few years but this tops the lot. We only stayed for a week but next time will stay for at least 2 maybe 3 weeks.More
