This modern hotel comes well-equipped with all you need for a hassle-free beach break. The hotel is just a stone’s throw from the sea and a short walk from the resort of Caleta de Fuste.
Winner of the Spanish “Q” award for quality, the hotel itself is up-to-date and designed with enjoyment in mind. Offering two lagoon-like pools and an outdoor whirlpool bath, it’s easy to take ‘busy doing nothing’ to the next level here. Plus, there’s a separate children’s pool if you’ve got little ones in tow.
And then there’s the luxury Thalasso Centre just near to the hotel. This oasis of well-being comes complete with a sauna. And with all the treatments on offer, it won't just be the sun that’s making your skin glow.
Accommodation-wise, expect large, airy bedrooms with private balconies and huge beds. Décor-wise the rooms are as you’d expect – clean lines, wooden furniture, and a fresh, neutral colour scheme. And extras, like satellite TVs and hairdryers, come as standard.
As for dining, the restaurant serves up a wide variety of buffet food. Come breakfast time, whether you fancy a Continental spread or a full English, it’s all there for the taking.
Last but not least, the entertainment programme has earned itself a great reputation. Think stage shows with a distinctive West-End flavour and a mini-disco just for the kids.

Great holiday, will be returning!
We loved this hotel and will definitely return next year. We got a taxi to the resort for 12 euros and check in was quick (as we didn't arrive with a coach load of others). We were given a free glass of cava on arrival and the rooms were big with huge comfy beds. We were in block 3 over looking the children's playground, which my son loved and it wasn't too noisy. There are three big pools, which were amazing and even though one wasn't heated we still went in it, as it was nice to cool off when it got really hot. The hotel is right on the beach so was ideal for us and wasn't crowded which was a surprise. My four old son also loved the mini-golf which is right next to the hotel. The area is only ten minutes from the airport and is nice if you just want a relaxing beach holiday with shops and restaurants just around the corner. We also walked up to the harbour and there is a land train which took us to the market on saturday. The breakfasts were unbelievable as I have never seen so much choice, everything you can think of was available. The staff here work really hard and the place is spotless. The only bad things were the sunbeds being taken every morning, but this was not the hotels fault as there is a sign up and staff had to go round each morning removing towels. Also the entertainment area is big but still got full up if you arrived after 9pm, it would have helped if people didn't reserve a whole row of seats for their little ones. But on the whole this is a great hotel for families and cannot fault the service and facilities. When booking the hotel I found it hard to read between the bad and good reviews, I can only assume that the bad reviews are from people who are all inclusive and are used to luxury hotels, but for me this was certainly the best hotel I've ever stayed at and everyone we spoke to praised the hotel.More

Easter Holiday 2014
Fantastic family holiday the staff were extremely helpful and throughout our stay were very friendly and good fun. I salute all of the staff from the crew who made our rooms so nice to return to, the waiters in the pool bar and buffet restaurant the chefs who prepared and cooked the deliscious selection of choice foods the animacion team who entertained and looked after the children whilst we spent a relaxing couple of hours at the luxurious Thallasso Spa 5 minutes walk from the kids club then we come to the evening entertainment which was superb every evening featuring the entertainment crew who look after the children during the day and also run the health clubs such as water aerobics, water polo, yoga fitness classes running around the pools making people laugh oh and serving yummy Sangria and then went on to perform the incredible shows in the evening. we were there for two weeks and enjoyed every moment , the staff work incredibly hard to make our holiday special, we are very much looking forward to returning next year from a very happy family in West SussexMore

We stayed here 12th till 19th April. First visit to a Barcelo, we've stayed in Riu's, Princess's etc in the Canaries many times and it was comparable to them i.e. we got what we paid for, £2'900 for a family of four, all inclusive at a 4 star hotel during the school holidays. Food and drink were plentiful and of a very good quality, kids are fussy eaters but always found something they liked, some of the grilled fish on offer was as good as you'll find anywhere. Waiters and Waitresses as friendly as you are! Rooms where comfortable and spotlessly clean (interconnecting would be nice). Stayed in rooms 1305 and 1306, 3rd floor in block 1. Animation team were very enthusiastic if your up for that! Right on the beach or plenty of space around the pools if you got up early enough, one pool quite cool and one very warm. Some other reviewers seem to have a problem with paying for wifi/safe/towels as opposed to other hotels, my view is; you pay any way up, compare it to a Riu where these are 'free' and the price is comparable, just dressed up in a different way! Outside of the hotel is quite a nice resort, you can go and feed the wild Chipmunks, which is funny the first few times, me and junior went on the 4 hour Dune Buggy Safari up in the North of the Island ( you get picked up at the hotel at 9.00am and dropped back off at 6.00pm ) €100 all in, What a Blast!! The Thomsom reps at the hotel are very helpful with any requirements and have to say we had no problem with the check in and check out as some others seem to have had. Wall to wall sunshine helped the atmosphere but that's pot luck anywhere these days. In summary; value for money, we've stayed in better but paid for the privilege and cut costs on others only to regret it. I think this particular hotel gets it spot on. Well done Barcelo, we'll use your hotels again ;O)More

ABout to visit again
We are about to visit this complex again in July and we were there last May and loved everything about it so really looking forward to it. Reading the reviews made this month it seems that some people think All inclusive literally means you get everything handed to you on a plate... wake up and get a life!!! You get a great choice of food and drinks all day every day and the staff will be polite to you if you are to them ( isnt that the same in this country). Why do you need WIFI you are there on holiday just relax instead catching up on the latest eastenders and corrie headlines. The evening shows were brilliant last year and sounds they are the same this year so that will keep the kids happy. It seems certian people went at peak times and were expecting everything to be laid back and easy going but why go to a top rated hotel that caters for everyone and not expect a couple of minor problems ata very very busy time. I take on board the negatives but they not putting me off at all and looking forward to the good times once again even if the in laws are tagging alongMore

Kids had a fab time and we got to relax.
Booked directly with the hotel. We booked the AI package. The service, staff and quality of rooms were amazing. Food quality has dropped slightly but still very good. Kids clubs and entertainments team were amazing and it was a delight to be able to relax knowing that the kids weren't bored. The evening shows were the best weve seen in the canaries. So Thankyou for a wonderful break and having Smirnoff on AI package. . More
