Barceló Corralejo Bay

The Barcelo Corralejo Bay is an adults-only retreat with a great spa and a pair of pools. It's in a fantastic location, too - the bars and restaurants in the town centre are within arm's reach, and the sandy beach is a few minutes' stroll away.

The adults-only Barcelo Corralejo Bay is nestled in the heart of Corralejo. You’ve got shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, and a sandy beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Better still, the hotel is surrounded by waxy palms and tropical shrubs, which give things a peaceful, private feel.

The greenery continues out by the swimming pools. There are two of them, and they’re shaded by glossy vines that line up along the water’s edge. Sunbeds and parasols dot the surrounding terrace, and there’s a bar out here, that’s well-stocked with drinks and snacks.

Elsewhere, you’ve got a tranquil spa that’s perfect for unwinding. Among the facilities on offer are a string of showers with different aromas, colours and music, a toning pool and a bubbling hot tub. Plus, you can enjoy treatments like a full body massage.

Holiday / honeymoon

Our room was pleasant although I thought the furniture was in poor state of repair for what we paid. Air conditioning was poor, this was reported twice but nothing done, again for what we paid I expected better More

Well worth it - Hot tub upgrade recommended

Absolutely superb... My only complaint is the evening buffet is not great.... so just do B&B if you can... the drinks are cheap so no need to panic!! I will definitely go back for another visit - you can truely switch off and relax. The hot tub and four poster sunlounger on a private terrace means you can laze the days away without having to fight for a sun lounger or swim in a pool full of people to cool down. Winning. (Recommend a daily bottle of bubbles in the hot tub too) More

A Perfect week.

We just returned from a week at the Barcelo Corralejo Bay and all I can say, if you want to utterly relax in a beautiful environment, with good food, this is the perfect place. The staff are amazing constantly on the ball and were all very friendly. The choice at breakfast is very impressive anything you can think of is there! Dinner is always good too, however the choice isn't quite as vast but you'd struggle to find something you didnt like! The hotel is so central you are only a short walk from the harbour with some lovely bars and restaurants, i'd definitely recommend a little restaurant that sells about 55 types of tapas at the end of the harbour, very good, typically Spanish and quite cheap!, also there is a supermarket very near the hotel and the hotel has a a free daily bus to the dunes, but we managed to walk to them in about half an hour and it was worth it for the sights. Overall the hotel was just relaxing, the room was lovely, and as a young couple we worried we'd be bored as the hotel seemed to attract an older clientele, however we had a wonderful time and would like to thank the staff for making it such a relaxing week. Definitely would go again. The Wifi was the only issue...but with the half an hour free wifi plus the hotel has two computers which you pay 1 euro for 10 minutes...for any necessary internet needs.More

Relaxed adult atmosphere.

Our flight was late arriving, hence hotel arrival was later than expected! We were told that once we had settled into our room that there was a meal waiting for us in the restaurant, apologies were made that there was nothing hot, however, the salad and food on offer was very fresh and welcoming. Our room was large with partial sea view, this view was more than adequate, a great view no problem there! The bed was really comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. The bathroom was a little jaded, but adequate. Plenty of sun beds on offer, though it,s quite funny to see folk queuing at 9 am to bag a bed!! we never had a problem later on in the day and the hotel was fully booked, so no panic really! Food was good, fresh and tasty. Great choice at breakfast and a lovely touch of Cava every other day.. nice start to the day! Lunch in the pool bar was always good and our evening meals were varied and tasty, able to eat outside in the courtyard at breakfast and evening meal, though you may have to wait for a table! Always great service from all the waiting staff and chefs keep food fresh and well stocked.More

Holiday in paradise

Just returned from 2 weeks stay in the Barcelo Corralejo Bay hotel. Arrived Saturday lunchtime to be told we had been upgraded to a wellness room. We have stayed many times at this hotel and had mixed feelings about the upgrade as we always request the 3rd floor for the afternoon sun. The wellness rooms are on the 1st floor but we went along with it and what a room. Apart from the room being larger, it had a double couch and a big Jacuzzi in the opposite corner. (some rooms have the Jacuzzi out on the balcony) We know it was big as it took 50 minutes to fill it sufficient for both of us to get in it, with a glass of bubbly!! The stocked mini bar was a treat but sadly we drank it dry!! For those who know this hotel, you will know the toilet area was open to the rest of the bathroom. Not any more! A sliding door (frosted) has been installed separating the toilet area from the rest of the bathroom allowing privacy. The hotel has undergone subtle changes and Barcelo are now stamping their mark on what use to be the Atlantic Palace and then the Blue Bay. The food is of a very good standard with plenty of variety and the waiters/waitresses are very pleasant and efficient. The hotel from top to bottom is always spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room are an added bliss! The hotel is located down a side street of the main street so nice and quiet from traffic and bars etc but 3 minutes walk and you are in the middle of it all. Would we recommend this hotel to anyone? You bet we would. We are already in the process of booking to go again. Thank you Barcelo, especially Laura in reservations for looking after our booking and us. More
