Barceló Corralejo Bay

The Barcelo Corralejo Bay is an adults-only retreat with a great spa and a pair of pools. It's in a fantastic location, too - the bars and restaurants in the town centre are within arm's reach, and the sandy beach is a few minutes' stroll away.

The adults-only Barcelo Corralejo Bay is nestled in the heart of Corralejo. You’ve got shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, and a sandy beach just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Better still, the hotel is surrounded by waxy palms and tropical shrubs, which give things a peaceful, private feel.

The greenery continues out by the swimming pools. There are two of them, and they’re shaded by glossy vines that line up along the water’s edge. Sunbeds and parasols dot the surrounding terrace, and there’s a bar out here, that’s well-stocked with drinks and snacks.

Elsewhere, you’ve got a tranquil spa that’s perfect for unwinding. Among the facilities on offer are a string of showers with different aromas, colours and music, a toning pool and a bubbling hot tub. Plus, you can enjoy treatments like a full body massage.

Hotel exceeded expectations

Having read the reviews we were expecting Corralejo Bay Hotel to be good but I must admit I think it's the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed in a Wellness room with a private jacuzzi - excellent. Along with free access to the spa you also got free wifi. If anything, the choice of food both at breakfast and dinner was too much! Every taste was catered for. The only downside was that occasionally the food was lukewarm. The entertainment was good and the 'animation team' Nev worked tirelessly to provide a variety of activities. More

A week in November

This was an excellent hotel which offered Wellness Superior rooms which were very comfortable and spacious. We were also able to book the Spa for free. The buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice as did the evening dinner. The close proximity to the beach across the road was an added bonus. We were fortunate to have excellent weather and really enjoyed this week away. We regretted not booking for 10 days! More

apart from the wifi, excellent

Lovely hotel, staff and proximity to everything....clean ,good food, bit of a scuffle in the morning everyone queuing up to put their towels on sunbeds, we just went on the nearby beach or fab beach at la OlivaMore

Very nice relaxing hotel

Stayed here at the end of October into November and really enjoyed it. Very relaxing. Quiet at night. Clean and staff were great. Excellent pool and facilities. Location is fantastic with a beach just 1 minute away and about 10 minutes by complimentary bus to the beautiful Dunes beaches. A couple of minutes takes you onto the main strip for bars, shops and restaurants. Temperature during our stay if interested was about 27 degrees every day with bright sunshine. Had a little bit of cloud cover on a couple of days but still warm. Would really recommend this hotel for a relaxing trip for couples although the age group was slightly older than I expected. More

Winter sun in November

We went for 10 nights & paid on booking for a pool view room - which was only seen if you hung right over the balcony! We did complain & the offer to change was made but not until the next day, on reflection we decided to stay put as the room was at the end & very quiet & did not want to live out of a suitcase. We really enjoyed our break - centrally located & easy to walk to beach, harbour & shops but far enough away for peace & quiet. Beds are comfortable but are 2 x queen size beds pushed together which move very easily, even when you sit on them, bit rickety as base is on 4 x spindly legs covered with deep mattress & shallow mattress on top of this (would not call it a topper as too deep for that) but fitted sheet covers all of the mattresses & base. Bathroom good size with decent over bath shower & moveable glass shower screen & two basins & in room fridge which is great for keeping things cool. Breakfast fantastic, evening meals adequate, nice wines available to buy by bottle which will be put away for you for next night. Only used the capsule coffe machine which was as good as fresh coffee, just got a jug of hot milk to put in it - you can get coffee in the evening if you ask. Pool area great, pool bar ok for lunch but we also went to restaurants on beach as well. Booked grand tour through gift shop in hotel & would recommend- different island to other islands in the canaries. Some good entertainment on some nights but also went out sometimes for a change, but hotel drinks well worth the money & staff brilliant on the lobby bar. Would we return to this hotel - yes we would but not for a few years, there are plenty of other places to visit but glad I opted for this hotel instead of the Riu hotels as they are quite a distance out of the town but great for the dunes & we are RIU class card holders. We did not use the spa as we felt it was on the expensive side & we do normally use this facility when available, also they do not offer free access to the sauna like most hotels but it would appear that it is open to the public.More
