Hotel H10 Salou Princess

Families are well-catered for at the Hotel H10 Salou Princess. Location-wise, it’s close to PortAventura and the beach, plus it’s got a huge pool and a big buffet restaurant.

The Hotel H10 Salou Princess scores top marks for location. It sits in one of the resort’s liveliest shopping areas, there’s a nearby beach, and you can drive to PortAventura Park in 10 minutes.

The big pool hogs the limelight at this hotel – it has a whirlpool bath and an al fresco entertainment stage on the side. And a restaurant and pub will keep you fed and watered.

Expected better

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Salou staying at the H10 Salou Princess. Most of the positive reports of this hotel we find hard to understand, there are positives, like the room maids and the reception staff especially Marzena and Inger, these were all friendly, helpful, polite and nice to chat However Supervisor Mandy at reception and dining room staff are all that is wrong with this hotel with there bad attitude, and not caring or listening. As other people have commented the organisation is useless, Queing for breakfast sometimes lunch and ALWAYS for evening meal. The dining room opened at 18.30 the queing started at 17.45 mainly Belgium, Holland and Germany most nights we ate out due to this. We went for a holiday not to have to stand in ques. Dining room staff attitude was not at all good, the food was not that good only luke warm, the bacon only half cooked. At 9.00am it is like the start of a horse race, people standing at the door(under starters orders) waiting for the pool to open. Then it was a mad dash to get beds and others were stood at the spot where the beds had got to be placed. The beach is approx 5mins away and was far better than the hotel grounds. Salou was great and would go back but never to this hotel.More

Average hotel, pleasant stay

We moved from H Top Molinos Park hotel to H10 Salou Princess because the last hotel was awful. This is a pleasant hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was nice and the pool area was clean. The rooms were really nice, clean and had comfortable beds. The only real downside was that on Sunday night there was an awful singer and bad music playing from the pool area which didn't end until 12 midnight which meant we were kept awake. Not our scene to listen to it. I guess this resort is aimed at the older generation? Nice stay though. More

Kayleigh T,

Can't believe any of the good reviews for Salou Princess hotel. We have just returned today after one week at this hotel. Defineately not 4star hotel. Room okay clean bit dated but beds okay. Food disgusting tasteless and lukewarm which is dangerous! Chairs in lounge also disgusting i.e. dirty and worn material coverings. Towels defineately not 4star quality as frayed, thin and anything but white! Staff in dining room mostly unpleasant although reception staff were pleasant enough. Would not recommend this hotel nor would we stay here again. H10 hotels had good reputation not anymore!More

Nice clean hotel.

I will start with the room,it was very nice it had a free fridge (makes a change to be free)there was a hairdryer and free shower jells and shampos ect.flat screen tv but only news channels in english, plenty of cupboard space and the rooms cleaned every day.Food was on the whole quite nice there was only one night that we struggled to find something we wanted. The breakfasts were ok plenty of selection but english was restricted to beans chips bacon and scrambled egg.The pool area was very nice but we stayed on the upper terrace as a bit quiter (when we were not at the beach).Entertainment was a bit poor with ballroom type dancing and circus type acts. The sportsmans tavern (british type pub)was a lovely bar but only had entertainment one night a week which was a wasted opportunity as the best act of the holiday was susan bey who was fantastic and filled the bar up, but the rest of the week it was nearly empty.Outside the hotel there are many bars but most are food or drink only type bars and not enouth music or karaoki type bars. If your going to venture out get on the train and go to barcelona, get the underground train and travel around the city its great fun and half the price of the tour opperaters.More

A good hotel

Five of us between the ages of 24 -58 stayed at this hotel between the 28th August and the 11th September. We all think this hotel was great and we had no problems during our stay at the hotel. We did however have a few days of rain/storms which might be normal for that time of year. The food in the hotel was varied and we all found something to eat every time we went into the restaurant. They even had champagne available for breakfast. The rooms are cleaned every day and beds made. The rooms are nice and we didn't have any problems with it. The Staff are all very friendly and we did like to make conversation with them. The beach is only a short walk away, as well as all the shops and restaurants that are located on the promenade. There are some nice bars near by too. We did visit The robin hood bar and the Lazy Wave which are opposite this hotel. There are also nice bars along the sea front that would suit all ages. The beach was very crowed, but we didn't mind it that much. If you like walking then there is a nice walk along the beach front. We would go back to this hotel again. We would just go earlier in July or August, just because we like it more sunny and less rain.More
