Hotel H10 Salou Princess

Families are well-catered for at the Hotel H10 Salou Princess. Location-wise, it’s close to PortAventura and the beach, plus it’s got a huge pool and a big buffet restaurant.

The Hotel H10 Salou Princess scores top marks for location. It sits in one of the resort’s liveliest shopping areas, there’s a nearby beach, and you can drive to PortAventura Park in 10 minutes.

The big pool hogs the limelight at this hotel – it has a whirlpool bath and an al fresco entertainment stage on the side. And a restaurant and pub will keep you fed and watered.

Disappointing

We arrived at this hotel after a five hour drive and checked in. Having done so we decided to go to the bar for a drink which having ordered we wanted to be charged to our room. We were then advised we did not have an account open. Having just checked in we didn't understand this but were told we had to go back tio reception to open an account. Why were we not told this when we checked in. Food was average but most disappointing was the rules regarding dress were clearly stated before entering the dining room. NO VESTS FOR MEN AT DINNER TIME. However vests were in full view. When we addressed the restaurant manager she said it was difficult to stop people - why then put up a dress code? I certainly don't want to eat dinner with men in sleeveless vests as if they have just been for a workout, you might just as well tear up the dress code rules if you don't implement them. We did bring this up with the reception staff who also seemed uninterested and everyone seemed to think it was someone else's problem.More

Excellent Holiday

We hadn't stayed in Salou for a long time but were looking forward to our holiday. The hotel is in a brilliant location near to everything including the beach. We only stayed at the pool one day preferring the beach but there were plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Only downside was there wasn't a lot of umbrellas for shade. Food in the hotel was great, we had breakfast and evening meal. Plenty of choice and plenty to go around. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend trying all the cocktails!!! Bar staff were lovely. Rooms were very clean and quite spacious. Entertainment although we only stayed in a couple of nights was typical hotel entertainment but quite good standard.More

Lovely Relaxing Holiday

I stayed in this hotel the first 2 weeks of October. I had asked for a room on a low floor and we had a room on floor 2 with a pool view! The room was clean and spacious - large wardrobe space, free fridge, safety deposit box (payable). The beds were lovely and firm, the room was cleaning was daily and couldn't be faulted. Shampoo/Showel gel was provided in small bottles for free. It was very quiet at night (entertainment finished about 11/12pm). The pool area was lovely and big with plenty of space for everyone. The pool area wasn't opened until 9am which was great as it prevented sunbed reserving - not that you needed to! It was peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant - I would give 3.5* for the food. It was what you expect from this level of hotel and mass catering. I was particularly impressed with the dessert selections, far more than the usual small square cakes and sugar-goo that you normally get. There were always flans/gateaux/cakes/individual patisserie style cakes and some nights a chocolate fountain. Breakfast was 'sit anywhere' and when it was busy for dinner, you were taken to a table which was nice. The hotel is in an excellent location, minutes away from the seafront/promenade and shops. There is a small book exchange area in the foyer area. The free wifi in the reception also stretches to the pool area and the room (as we were on the 2nd floor). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return. The staff were all very friendly and hard working. Nice places to go for lunch/evening drinks/coffee: Amigos - follow the hotel round to the right and its just round the corner. very friendly and hospitable staff and good prices. La Ibense - coffee shop/gelaterie on the front - lovely for a coffee and watch the world go by Talaia - on the front, first bar as you walk left round the peninsula. Nice bar and friendly staff, good selection of wines.More

Great hotel, centrally located.

Visited September for two weeks. Not disappointed, great food, immaculate rooms and excellent service by Sante the waiter, &filipino, and the gang, Initially asked for a drink and waited for 20 minutes as the bar manager was talking to friends. eventually he offered to make it but we had decided by this time we didn't want the drink. He was actually quite rude, but the rest were great. Central location, 5 mins from beach, bars and shops. Bus stop and train stop outside of hotel,, overall hood value for money And will definitely return for our 4th stay.More

Hotel Great but food was poor.

As some other people have said, this is a good hotel, rooms are always cleaned, towels changed, staff are polite and helpful, pool area is fine, and in a great location. The only thing that let it down for me was the food, I thought it was really poor, evening meals more so than breakfast. Veal burgers and hotdogs in a 4 star hotel, soup seemed to be the same every night under a different title, so we had to eat out a few times. Its a pity, because the hotel is fine. Somebody actually said, its because its the end of the season and they were just using up what was left in the freezers. We stayed in Delfin Park same week last year and food was much better.More
