Hotel H10 Salauris Palace

The Hotel H10 Salauris Palace is a real winner on the location front – it’s close to the beach, PortAventura theme park, and the town centre.

When it comes to locale, the H10 Salauris Palace is hard to beat. Llevant Beach is less than a 15-minute walk away and PortAventura Park is just up the road.

The pool hogs the limelight at this hotel, with the huge sun terrace and buffet restaurant following closely on its heels.

Great hotel

My 18 year old daughter and I stayed here 2 weeks ago for a week with half board. The week was wonderful. Exactly what we needed: lovely hotel, sun, pool, sea and good food. The reception area is cool and calm and front desk staff helpful as are all the staff, always cheerful. The hotel has a bag drop room so if you arrive early before your rooms are ready you can leave them in there (there's a porter who oversees it and the room is locked when no one is in it) and you can change in the bathroom (part of the bag drop area). The pool is lovely, life guard on duty, loads of sunbeds, couple of bars by the pool. You can hire towels for pool, you pay a deposit. On one occasion the sun beds ran out and more came out. There is a policy that you cannot reserve them, not sure that works brilliantly but it's a lot better than at most hotels. The food is great, there's a huge buffet available with loads of choice. You choose a table and go and help yourself. They do have gluten free, ask for "pan sin gluten". Rooms are very comfortable with bath and really powerful shower over, air conditioning, (thank goodness as the sun was in our room in the afternoon), hairdryer, safe and toiletries. We took a travel kettle but you can hire them for not very much. There is a fridge in the room and you need to pay for it if you wish to use it. We were on the 5th floor (good lifts) and overlooked the pool. The beds gave me backache sadly, a bit firm for me. There is entertainment on the pool area so noisy until midnight, take ear plugs if you want to go to bed early. The children seem well looked after by the animation team who are young and enthusiast and also take aquarobics in the pool and water polo. The sea is 10 mins walk away, you can hire sunbeds and parasols (barter), there are restaurants and a small shopping area and small supermarket. So, great hotel, great staff, great pool, great location. Thankyou! More

Jeni W,

Don't bother booking any other hotel in Salou ..Salauris Palace is the Best !!!

This hotel is Fantastic ! Please ignore the picky reviews about noise ,etc ..the maids were extremely obliging ! They do a great job .the soundproof quality from outside noise is minimal ,black out curtains were amazing ,air -con brilliant and surprisingly quiet ,we had a junior suite and a superior double room close to each other on the 4th floor and have never stayed in rooms with better facilities ! Great triple slide robes ,holding all our clothes ..nice bathroom with toiletries supplied ,with towels and bed linen changed frequently. We also had a pool view ,which had a nice big balcony with table and chairs and a metal drier for wet clothing ,was nice to have mornings and evenings to watch the pool antics ! We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys , previously holidayed in Turkey and Florida and needed a hotel location to suit all needs .this was it ! Portaventura theme and water park were 10 mins away . The Main Street of Salou was 10 mins in opposite direction with plenty of shops and restaurants . We ate at the hotel mostly with half board option as food selection was very brilliant. However we did eat at the seafront restaurants and Irish bars Danny's and Dubliner twice ,only for a change of scenery . The hotel food offer was brilliant from basics nuggets and chips to elaborate canapés ,salads and tapas selections of fish and meats .extremely well presented maintained and cooked to your liking .At lunch time you had 2 alfresco options with great snacks or 3 course compliment at pool bar or Naturalia bar ..great service from all restaurant staff and and great food there too .otherwise you could walk down the street to McDonalds if preferred ! The entertainment team were brilliant and Paco has to be given an extra special mention ..that guy never stops for a minute along with Team captain Rafa and sidekick Fran ..these boys contribute to the success of your holiday ! The girls are great too however ,deal more with the kids club so we didn't get to know as well . There is a complete 2 week itinerary planner detailing every hour of every day starting from 11am to midnight . Darts ,rifle shooting ,water polo ,aqua dance ,quiz, bingo, flip flop challenge ,football ,volleyball ,cocktail competitions ..that's just during the day ! At night they have a full programme mini disco with kids Daisy club from 9pm ,then show from 10pm .this ranges from African dancers ,Mongolian acrobats ,Polynesian dancers ,Michael Jackson tribute as some of the outside acts then Mr Salauris ,,battle of the quiz teams ' ,Grease 'night and of course White Night ! This is the grand Finale of your 2 week programme and Esmerelda (guest relations manager ) does a fantastic job of greeting all the guests and thanking them for dressing in white . The staff go all out to dress in white all day ,its a great vibe and atmosphere where everyone joins in ,unfortunately it poured with rain that night ,such a freak incident after 2 glorious weeks of 28-30 degrees ! But White Night continued inside in the huge indoor lounge area and was still a great night ! What else can I mention ? Check in was efficient with great service from the staff ,all my requests were granted ..lost room keys were no problem to replace ..the lifts were brilliant ..no issues there . My sons used the indoor gym facilities ,with no complaints . Sunbed wars were nipped in the bud very professionally by Esmerelda ..doors opened at 8.15 am when you could claim your beds ,if they were not used by 11.15 ..Esmerelda expertly removed the towels ,into her shopping trolley and waited for you to reclaim them at reception ! A very fair and acceptable way of dealing with the hoarders !! Overall Salauris Palace is a very slick ,efficient organised operation and earns it rightful place as number hotel in Salou .. We will be back next year ,if not before .More

Best holiday

I have just returned from a 10 days Holiday with my fiancé. The hotel was to a very high standard. We upgraded to a superior room which meant we were on fifth floor with pool which I would recommend. The room was cleaned everyday making it lovely to stay in. The pool is great and good that they let you reserve beds before breakfast. The entertainment staff are amazing and friendly, going the extra mile. I would definitely recommend pacos water fitness class so much fun and good workout. The food was nice something different night and a range to suit all. Breakfast was lovely and best to get in before nine am rush. Blue bar was very nice food and waiters were amazing always helpful and friendly. Only a short walk from portaventura.More

Fantastic ! Didn't disappoint!!

My family and I stayed in the Salauris Palace in June, it was fabulous! From check in to leaving we really could not fault the hotel at all ! The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough especially for the children !! One of the first things I noticed about the hotel was that it was exceptionally clean ! The rooms were very comfortable, there was a good selection of food at meal times, even for fussy eaters ! The entertainment was great, from the daisy club to the mini disco, the animation team are wonderful! It's also in a great location, we walked to the theme park about 10mins away and about the same distance to the shops and beaches etc ! It really is a great place ! Hopefully we will be back soon!!More

Jodds28,

Amazing hotel with exceptional service

have returned from 2 week stay was a little dubious as mixed views but can say was not disappointed this hotel is first class the staff couldn't of been more helpful from sterigo in the restaurant to essmerelda customer liaisons . We arrived late and were ushered into the dining room to eat as were about to close . It was sons 18th birthday and the made a beautiful cake for him . The entertainment staff were the best I've seen Rafa Paco and Fran were amazing so full of energy you couldn't help but join in . There were activities organised all day for every age group. The food was good always a large choice for all taste buds . Rooms were spotless . Plenty of sun beds yes if you wanted a certain spot to guarantee a Brollry you could get up early and wait for doors to open 815 but still beds available at 930 but the do go round putting tickets on beds to stop people hoarding beds and then sitting on them for an hour all day if you do t return on half an hours towels were removed which I think is very fair . But by 130 beds were starting to become free and by 4 quite a lot of empty beds . Ideally located Portaventua and caribe waterpark are only 10 min walk away and the town 10mins the other way Will definitely be retuning in the future and highly recommend this hotel and the hard working staff which is why I give it 5 stars as there is nothing that I could fault it for More
