When it comes to location, the H10 Salauris Palace is hard to beat. The long and sandy Llevant Beach is less than a fifteen-minute walk away. PortAventura Park is literally around the corner. And because it’s tucked into the centre of Salou, there are shops, bars and restaurants more or less on the doorstep.
But that’s just part of the story. At the hotel itself, it’s the pool that hogs the limelight. The lagoon-shaped stretch of turquoise comes with a whirlpool bath, sunbeds and tall trees providing a welcome bit of shade. The stand out feature though is the waterfall which cascades down over a man-made rock tunnel on the terrace.
Inside the hotel, there’s a wellness centre, where you’ll find a small, heated pool and another whirlpool bath. It’s also home to the gym, sauna and Turkish bath so you can work up a steam and chill out all under one roof. And garden views, wooden decking and well-cushioned loungers complete the picture of tranquility.
Room-wise, they’ve kept things simple without skimping on style. Tiled floors and air-conditioning work together to keep things cool. While bold checks add a little colour to the contemporary chocolate and cream palette. There’s more of the same fuss-free sophistication in the restaurant, too. All high-backed wicker chairs, crisp white table cloths and potted palms, the décor’s as tasteful as the choice-packed buffet.

I had so much to write about my stay here but have left it so long...My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in August/September 2013. We loved it! It was a convenient location to get to both Port Aventura and the beach. There were some good entertainment shows and the pool during the day was nice with fun activities to do if you wished to take part. The choice for breakfast was excellent, almost something for everyone. The room itself was a good size and we could see Port Aventura from our balcony. The only bad point about the room was the lack of noise insulation as we were woken up early one morning from someone shouting in the corridor following an argument with their partner after a night out. The roof terrace for adults only was nice, however, it would benefit from being stricter on the adult only policy as many children came up and disturbed the peace. My wife loved the Jacuzzi on the roof top as well as the sauna and steam room in the basement. Our room was cleaned thoroughly everyday, it's unfortunate that I can't remember her name now and she wasn't there on our last day for us to thank her. It's not often cleaners don't move your things either, after all you're trying to make the room to your own comforts. All the cleaners greeted us every morning when we left the room. It did unfortunately rain on some of the days, which was the only time people were looking bored as there didn't seem like there was anything to do. However, we would definitely come back here again in the future!More

My partner and I stayed in September 2013. Weather was great, rooms are very spacious (air conditioning included - I think we may have paid a small deposit which was returned on departure) and there is a wide variety of foods. We were full board, and I would definitely recommend paying a little extra for this as its great value for money.. especially as my partner could eat morning, noon and night! Great for family and couples. Great location: to theme parks, shops, beach, pubs etc. We were able to walk everywhere, dont think we were on a bus or in a taxi the whole week, except for our transfers. Entertainment in the hotel every day/night, and there is a small shop in the hotel for snacks, magazines etc. Also a great spa and pool. Only downfall was that we did not get a room with a view!More
Fantastic Hotel, could not fault a thing!
All in all we had a fantastic stay in this hotel, we felt it was good value for money is rated 4* but we felt it was 5* standard, we had a private sun bathing deck on the roof exclusively for adults, a spa exclusively for adults and some rooms had their own personal jacuzzi. However it was very family orientated with kids clubs and activities running throughout the day. The staff was so friendly and helpful, maids came every day to clean room and would come back later in the day if requested, reception staff were very helpful and had great knowledge of the local area. Hotel was in a prime location for everything in close proximity such as the main beach and shops and restaurants. Coaches and buses picking up from directly outside the hotel if you wanted to go further a field or go on any excursions. The buffet restaurant always had a great choice of food with something to suit everybody ranging from traditional Spanish dishes to English foods such as sausage and chips, there was even an area for children with things like chips, pizza, jelly and ice cream. Food was always hot and changed over regularly. we had evening entertainment in the hotel every night with children's entertainment running earlier on in the evening, with adults entertainment running up until midnight with live shows, music, dances and bingo. Overall a great hotel 5* standard in a prime location.More

Very nice hotel, clean, good pool and nice roof terrace(adults only).stayed half board, food was fine although quite repetative, enjoyed breakfast and were allowed to have lunch instead of dinner a few days.location is good, about 10 minute walk past shops and bars to the beach.bus stop close by.staff were friendly and helpful.if i was going back to salou i would stay at this hotel again.More
Quite good but not perfect
Our stay was pretty good apart from a few things. The first was being told on arrival to come back in a few hours because our room hadn't been cleared yet, we weren't the only ones this happened to. We were told we could leave our things in a locker room cupboard which wasn't locked and the room was accessible to anyone in the hotel. We booked this through onthebeach and expected a room to be ready when we arrived and were not aware if there was a check in time or not. I don't think the reception staff were very welcoming. The second thing was that it was nearly impossible to get a sun lounger unless you reserved it with a towel early in the morning, the pool and garden was very crowded and small too. Hotel is beautiful though and has a different variety of foods and kids meals every day.More
