Featuring an indoor pool, whirlpool bath, sauna and Turkish bath there's plenty of opportunity to close your eyes and drift away. If you want a real pamper then book in for a massage or one of the many other treatments on offer.
Firstly, I booked this hotel as a surprise for my boyfriend last November 2014, we traveled here in September 2015.
When booking it, considering it was my boyfriends 21st, I asked could I be upgraded to a junior suite as when I went to book it it would not allow me to select it. The lady who I booked it through was very helpful and told me she would happily arrange it. I heard nothing else regarding this booking!...
When we arrived and checked in they could not find our reservation anywhere. Then after a stressful 30 minutes they had eventually located it and gave us a key to a double room. When they asked us to sign to give up our passports I seen a note under our names for the bedroom saying "did not understand comment, please check" when I pointed this out to the receptionist he said that there was no way we would be able to have the junior suite as I didnt pay enough for it.
I was under the impression that everything I booked was ok considering I never heard anything else when requesting the junior suite.
It was late and we were tired so we settled for the double room and I have to say they were very nice.
I could not fault the room we were giving at all. It was spotless, comfortable and spacious.
As the days went on we were finding our bearings, Breakfast was fantastic, a bit of everything for everyone!! We ate here two nights too and dinner was ok.
When we had lunch one day on the poolside, our foot was absolutely horrible and drinks were served in disposable glasses. This was a bit silly for a 4* hotel if you ask me, I would understand if we were children but we were adults and as a matter of fact everyone was adults when we went.
I enjoyed my stay in the H10 hotel, although the issue with the room did put a down side on our special holiday together, I cannot recommend the theme park enough. We spent one full day and it was the highlight of the holiday, only a ten minute walk too!!
The Hotel was nice, It was clean, tidy and comfortable. However I don't think I would go back, not because of the hotel but we were not found of Salou, after all it was 25-30th september, not much happens around that time.More

My mother and I stayed here for a week in October. Firstly I would like to know how this
hotel has made it to No 1 in the rankings??
On arriving, we found check in very swift to the point the receptionist was very snippy! Our room was on first floor facing the main road, which we had no problems with. Room was clean and kept clean every day, great housekeeping staff and very friendly too. Throughout the week we had problems with noise coming from next door and up stairs. I had called reception but they didn't seem interested. So we resorted to banging on the wall with my shoes @ 3 am!!! So , if you are a light sleeper, then this might not be the place for you ! If you want the use of the fridge that's provided in the room, it will cost you 3 euro per day up front! If you would like use of a kettle , then no bother at all but it will cost you 3 euro per day ! The food was fantastic tho ,plenty of choice . Bar and waiting staff are very professional and friendly. Unfortunately we can not say the same for the reception staff and the man who stands at the front entrance!
On the whole, this is just another average hotel.
And I don't think it merits No 1 hotel !

Mexican resort style hotel at the Mediterranean
We stayed here 3 nights early October. A great value hotel, with Mexican resort style charm, excellent buffet breakfast variety including made to order eggs, nightly entertainment. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, balcony, fridge, room safe and a well equipped shower/bathroom . Never paid extra for a room Fridge before, but reasonable at 3 Euros/day, perhaps to make up for the free in-room safe . Beach, boardwalk, with plenty of stores, restaurants and entertainment is a 10 minute walk. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our short stay and highly recommend this hotel as a great base to explore Tarragona, Reus and Pont del Diableâ¦well worth a visit but challenging to findMore

Not what we expected
Having being rated No 1 on Tripadvisor we were looking forward to our stay between 13th/20th October and were a tad disappointed with the hotel.Booking in was a nightmare taking nearly and hour with the first room absolutely stinking of smoke then unable to get into the second room.Another couple also had problems with their rooms and,at this point,I learnt that a pool view attracted additional expense. So our room overlooking the road had no sunlight at all at this time of year.
The outside pool bar was already shut up and the waterfall over the pool also switched off,I ventured into the pool once for a few minutes, swiftly retreating before losing the use of my legs. The exterior of the hotel and the roof solarium looking a bit tatty and needing some TLC whilst some of the sun loungers require a good scrub.
All in all the hotel and resort were in end of season mode so everything pretty laid back.
The public areas are nice with large restaurant and bar/lounge space and we were lucky to have entertainment on most nights which was varied and of a good standard.Free WI-FI downstairs was useful and saved a few Euros. The most impressive part of our stay was the dining which had a good choice and was a decent quality although you need to be fairly mobile to get to the different stations,Soft drinks seemed expensive though.
So its a decent hotel and we had a reasonable stay but I cannot see where it merits the very high marks it seems to attract to elevate it up the rankings.More
H10 Salauris Palace
Despite a few random poor reviews we still booked this hotel based on instinct and the fact it still rated No 1 in Salou. We holiday all year round mainly the Canaries and this hotel is up there with the best of the 4 star hotels. The dress code in the dining room could have been enforced a little better with one or two people wearing shorts which were better suited to round the pool, and if you were one of the early birds in for evening meal then on occasions some of the show cooking food was nowhere near ready and long queues were the result.
The food itself was excellent, and anyone complaining about the variety and quality must have strange palates....I wonder what they eat at home!
