When it comes to location, the H10 Salauris Palace is hard to beat. The long and sandy Llevant Beach is less than a fifteen-minute walk away. PortAventura Park is literally around the corner. And because it’s tucked into the centre of Salou, there are shops, bars and restaurants more or less on the doorstep.
But that’s just part of the story. At the hotel itself, it’s the pool that hogs the limelight. The lagoon-shaped stretch of turquoise comes with a whirlpool bath, sunbeds and tall trees providing a welcome bit of shade. The stand out feature though is the waterfall which cascades down over a man-made rock tunnel on the terrace.
Inside the hotel, there’s a wellness centre, where you’ll find a small, heated pool and another whirlpool bath. It’s also home to the gym, sauna and Turkish bath so you can work up a steam and chill out all under one roof. And garden views, wooden decking and well-cushioned loungers complete the picture of tranquility.
Room-wise, they’ve kept things simple without skimping on style. Tiled floors and air-conditioning work together to keep things cool. While bold checks add a little colour to the contemporary chocolate and cream palette. There’s more of the same fuss-free sophistication in the restaurant, too. All high-backed wicker chairs, crisp white table cloths and potted palms, the décor’s as tasteful as the choice-packed buffet.

Fantastic Hotel, could not fault a thing!
All in all we had a fantastic stay in this hotel, we felt it was good value for money is rated 4* but we felt it was 5* standard, we had a private sun bathing deck on the roof exclusively for adults, a spa exclusively for adults and some rooms had their own personal jacuzzi. However it was very family orientated with kids clubs and activities running throughout the day. The staff was so friendly and helpful, maids came every day to clean room and would come back later in the day if requested, reception staff were very helpful and had great knowledge of the local area. Hotel was in a prime location for everything in close proximity such as the main beach and shops and restaurants. Coaches and buses picking up from directly outside the hotel if you wanted to go further a field or go on any excursions. The buffet restaurant always had a great choice of food with something to suit everybody ranging from traditional Spanish dishes to English foods such as sausage and chips, there was even an area for children with things like chips, pizza, jelly and ice cream. Food was always hot and changed over regularly. we had evening entertainment in the hotel every night with children's entertainment running earlier on in the evening, with adults entertainment running up until midnight with live shows, music, dances and bingo. Overall a great hotel 5* standard in a prime location.More

Quite good but not perfect
Our stay was pretty good apart from a few things. The first was being told on arrival to come back in a few hours because our room hadn't been cleared yet, we weren't the only ones this happened to. We were told we could leave our things in a locker room cupboard which wasn't locked and the room was accessible to anyone in the hotel. We booked this through onthebeach and expected a room to be ready when we arrived and were not aware if there was a check in time or not. I don't think the reception staff were very welcoming. The second thing was that it was nearly impossible to get a sun lounger unless you reserved it with a towel early in the morning, the pool and garden was very crowded and small too. Hotel is beautiful though and has a different variety of foods and kids meals every day.More

I'm very fussy with hotels as I've had so many disappointing ones but this is definitely one of the best hotels I've ever been in. The rooms are lovely and tidy and spacious, the balcony over looks not bad views, beds are comfy, bathroom is a little bit small (but expected) it is very much worth the money. Short walk on a straight road to the theme/water park, all lit up brightly if you walk back from seeing the fireworks, with other hotels along the way (lots of people walking back so you won't feel threatened). The hotel itself is beautifully presented, it is very much a 4*, food was lovely, but not as much for vegetarians, and none of the desserts labelled as vegetarian friendly. Drinks are expensive, but a bottle of water for 4 was appropriately priced and convenient. The pool was busy, as expected, lots of kids but there was endless entertainment for them and getting a sunbed was easy if you got up at an appropriate time (it's not 3am, but it's not 12pm) and if you complain to the staff at the hotel if you think somebody is holding the sunbeds with towels but gone out for the day, they will take the towels off! Weather was fabulous for beginning of July too! You only get wifi at the reception of the hotel, it can be temperamental but it's alright if you only want it briefly to check some messages (I witnessed a room full of people trying to get signal, so you won't be alone!). My only complaint would be that it took a very long time to get our room sorted, we kept getting told 'oh an hour' and then going back 'oh its not been done yet' but apart from that, it's near on perfect, and it was a busy day for people coming so it's expected. It's also only a short walk to the bars of Salou (about 10 to 15 minutes strolling) and easily accessible if you need a taxi! I would recommend this hotel a million percent for anybody, it's almost perfect, for couples, kids and teenagers!More
