Hotel H10 Salauris Palace

The Hotel H10 Salauris Palace is a real winner on the location front – it’s close to the beach, PortAventura theme park, and the town centre.

When it comes to locale, the H10 Salauris Palace is hard to beat. Llevant Beach is less than a 15-minute walk away and PortAventura Park is just up the road.

The pool hogs the limelight at this hotel, with the huge sun terrace and buffet restaurant following closely on its heels.

Me and my new hubby are just Back from the h10 salaries palace. We were there on honeymoon for a week half board. When we arrived there was quite a lot of people checking in but they were very quick at getting everyone Check which was good. We told them we were on our honeymoon we asked if we could get a pool view. We actually got the room that's on the website and that's room we wanted so we were delighted. We arrived about half past one 1 in the afternoon so went for a bite to eat. The pool was really busy but we managed to get beds. We were half board at breakfast and dinner. I wasn't really keen on the breakfast as I am not a big eater in the morning but there was loads to choice from it was a buffet style like cereals, all different types of sausages, scrambled eggs, bakery Corner and a guy doing show cooking making things like pancakes, fried eggs, toasties etc. The dinner was really good great choice something for everyone and great for kids. We loved every minute of it and already looking at booking next year can't wait to go back to salaries palace. The new Danielle and Andrew Markie from Scotland. More

Fantastic location and wonderful, kind staff.

This really is a no hassle hotel. Check in was quick, easy and the room was ready straight away. Was offered help with cases which we didn't need. All reception staff spoke excellent English and were also happy for me to try out my Spanish to them. Food. Breakfast offers similar offerings every day but there is loads of choice. Evening meal has a core of the same food each night but has a wide range of different choices. There is a meat bar where fresh meat is cooked during the dinner period. Drinks are not included with your meal but a bottle of water is currently 2 euros 40. That is one thing I would change. A bottle of water should be provided. Pool. We went during the summer holidays and it was never over crowded. The usual sunbed issues with people reserving them at ridiculous hours of the morning! By the afternoon there were plenty of beds free. Life guards are on duty throughout the day and are not whistle happy so you can have fun. Rooms. Beautiful. We had one overlooking the pool and it was just super. Lovely balcony with drying racks and table/ chairs. The air con is very welcomed on return from a day out. The TV channels are disappointing. I wasn't well one day and stayed in. Only news channels available and each of these kept repeating the same items! Just a general entertainment channel would be good! Lovely presentation of the rooms and the cleaning staff are really friendly and approachable. Location. Salou is about 10 min walk away (max). The land train stops just outside the hotel on the other side of the road, every half hour. Reception have maps and guides. It is great to take the land train (hop on hop off ticket) and just explore the local area. We found some great coves and shopping. It takes about 2 hours. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Port Aventura and we took a train to Barcelona from here. Please don't do this! The station at Barcelona is miles from the centre and our day became a mission of survival as we tried to get back to the station! We walked almost 20km that day. Definitely take a bus, or get a taxi to/from Barcelona station to the shops. Overall. We would definitely return to the H10 Salauris Palace and have brought many happy memories back with us.More

Brilliant hotel - will be coming back!

My wife and I have just come back from Salou after spending 10 nights here for our honeymoon (as well as a few nights in France). We absolutely loved Salou, and the Salauris Palace. We got the train to Salou from Barcelona - was very cheap, less than £20 each. The train journey itself was picturesque and when we arrived to Salou it was less than 5 minutes in a taxi. Our room was a superior room and was nice and comfortable. It was very cool as the air conditioning was great and we overlooked the pool. The bed was nice and comfortable but the only downside was we had to pay to rent a fridge and a kettle and for 10 nights it worked out to be a significant cost of around 50 euros for both items. The entertainment goes on until about 12 and because we were on the pool side it is almost impossible to get to sleep before the entertainment finishes because of the noise - not saying this is a bad thing but just something for families to be aware of if you wanted an early night. Because we were travelling home early on the Friday we asked to move room on the Wednesday and asked for a road side room (that was on a higher floor). This was a lot better and we didn't hear the evening entertainment at all from our new room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in helping us sort our new room and there was no issue switching. We switched to a standard room as that's all that was available and besides the bed there was not much difference between a superior and a normal room. The hotel's staff are brilliant. The animation team work incredibly hard and always have a smile on their face. They arrange water volleyball, football, water polo, water aerobics and much more. There's something for all ages and they really make you feel welcome. When we were they they'd arranged a special day for the guests where they gave guests free cocktails, organised a foam party and a load more fun stuff. The rest of the staff are all welcoming and work crazily hard and are always helpful and polite. The food is very varied and crazily tasty! We paid for breakfast and there was a fresh bakery, cereals, fruits, cooked meats, pancakes and a whole load more. What was really impressive though is that they had soya milk and gluten free bread (freshly baked) so if you have intolerance's then you'll be catered for. We were not half board but could pay 16 euros per person for lunch or for dinner and presented really good value. Freshly cooked meats (of all types) and brilliant deserts - I can't recommend the food enough. Salou itself is lovely - it's got a really active beach with volleyball courts, mini football pitches and basketball courts as well as inflatables in the sea. Cambrils is a short bus ride away and is a fun, bustling port with lots of great restaurants. Salou really surprised us. We were a bit worried it may be a bit like Benidorm but instead it was a fun, picturesque town with loads to do (for young and old). So to sum up! We would definitely go back. The food, location, staff is perfect. The room is fine providing you're on the road side and the only thing we thought could be changed is to provide a kettle and fridge for free. Oh and there's free wifi throughout the hotel! If you book to go here you'll have a great time!More
