broken furniture.

Let me start by saying I have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 12yearsand been very happy there.but this year was a let down, repaired furniture not done well.patio furniture in the restaurant replaced dining chairs, which resulted in three dresses ruined.when I complained I was told no one else had complained.or I had brought the dresses in that state.and why had I not complained after the first dress was damaged.I said I didn't realise I should have to inspect my clothes for damage in a four star hotel!!!! So if you go there wear sturdy clothes as chiffon gets shredded.needless to say we will not be age is 66yearsi like nice clothes.draw your own conclusions.More

Just what I needed.

After a very upsetting year I just needed to get away, I booked this hotel because I love Salou. The hotel was lovely, clean and friendly. It was a nice walk into town and the beach. The food was amazing and there is so much choice. As most hotels people still insist on laying towels on the beds but not using them until later.More

We will be back! :)

The location was perfect, close to beach, shops and theme park. All staff were friendly and helpful, speaking perfect English. Rooms were clean and the variety of food at all three meals was great for all the family. The only down side I can come up with is the out door pool was really freezing, but there was plenty of room in the indoor pool to warm up. Jacuzzi and hot tubs were clean with plenty of room. See you again soon Golden Port Salou!More

L W,

Enjoyable holiday, sad to leave

Lets start at the beginning. Was greeted at entrance of hotel by Thomson rep. Efficient and pleasant check in at reception. Everything was explained. Arrived at room. Could possibly do with a little updating. Clean and comfortable. Room was cleaned every day along with clean towels. There is a small fridge as well as a kettle. Also sachets of coffee, tea, sugar and milk which were replenished. After unpacking we went for lunch. What a pleasure to be greeted by such lovely staff. The choice of foods was vast. Quality was also very good. As soon as something was running out it was replaced. Also everything was set out beautifully. This was the same for every meal. There was something for everyone. Some foods may have been repetitive but with the selection it would be. Location is quite good. We have been Salou several times and i will say without a doubt this is the best hotel we have stayed in, a thought echoed by both my son and daughter. Bar and restaurant drink prices are fair. Outside pool areas and gardens are well kept up. Plenty of sun beds. Will definitely be going back next year. More

Great hotel

This is a very nice hotel with lots going on for families. The pool area was always very clean but alittle too much shade ment you had to pick your spot well or move around to catch the sun. The food was amazing and I don't think anyone could complain about it even if you were there for two weeks. The rooms were spacious and very clean (we were on 7th floor), bedding and towels change regularly. All of the staff were helpful and mostly pleasant.More
