This place gives you a trio of pools to choose from. And you’re only a short walk from the beach.
This place has a trio of pools, including a big lagoon number. There’s also a large buffet restaurant and a lounge bar that hosts nightly live entertainment like cabaret. The luxury spa rounds things off.
It’s less than 15 minutes’ walk to Playa Capellans Beach, while Levante Beach is even closer. And while it’s a 10-minute walk to the main strip, there are bars and restaurants just outside the door.
For ages 3 to 12 years. Whatever your little ones are into they'll be well entertained here. There's art, sports, games and films during the day. And the fun continues into the evening with shows, face painting and a mini-disco.

We stayed at this hotel between 20th Sept and 4th Oct 2014. This is our second holiday at this hotel and we had a great time again. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, from reception and dining room to bar staff and cleaners. We were all inclusive, which I would recommend, as it is excellent value. The food is plentiful and very good quality. There is something for everyone at each meal. The entertainment team put on a couple of good shows and they worked well with the children. Of course there is the usual bingo every evening before the show. We did prefer the entertainment towards the end of the holiday as they bring in more professional acts. The location is very good, it is about a five minute walk to the shops and a little further to the sea front.
I have no doubt we will be going back again.More

Not quite what we expected.
Me & my boyfriend stayed at this hotel between the 28th May & 13th June 2014.
Upon arrival we went to the reception to check in where they insisted that we gave them our passports and waited an hour before we could go to our rooms. However after twenty minutes we asked again and were given a key to our room. We Also had to pay â¬14 tourist fee!
Listening to reviews on Tripadvisor we requested a room on the 7th floor facing the swimming pool which we were given.
However, when we reached our bedroom on the 7th floor we were more than disappointed with the quality of the accommodation.
We had requested a double bed because there was two of us staying there however, our room had bunk beds and a double bed meaning that there was no floor space and the room was very cramp. The bunk beds stuck out into the little hallway and we had to dodge this to get past to the bathroom.
At first glance the bathroom looked pleasant until we realised the shower door was loose and was nearly falling off the hinge when slid opened. Also there was cigarette butts in the toilet.
The balcony paint was worn and felt quite depressing when out on it. We decided that this wasn't what was advertised by Thompson and went to reception to complain and change rooms. The receptionist seemed surprised at first but then gave us a key to another room for us to look at.
Food - Buffet
The hosts of the Buffett were always very welcoming and polite.
Breakfast: The breakfast buffet had lots to offer including hot traditional breakfast, cold continental breakfasts, pancakes, omelettes, cereals and fruit. Hot chocolate, tea, coffee, water, orange juice etc were also available at no extra cost for breakfast.
Evening: The food was very receptive but that is expected of a buffet however, i wouldn't say it was off great quality.
Two nights we were there, there were themed nights one of which was Oriental. This was a nice change to the normal buffet but still not up to the quality we were expecting.
Our second room was on the 4th floor and it was a refreshing sight walking in to the room. This was like the ones pictured on the Thompson website. We had a double bed and a single bed but still had plenty of floor space. The bathroom was clean and suitable. The room was provided with a kettle however, this looked a bit dirty and dated so we avoided using it.
Air Con was free with the room and only works when the balcony door is shut and your room key is in the holder. However, some nights the air con seemed to turn its self off and we woke up very hot.
A safe is provided in the room and can be used with a â¬35 charge at the end of you stay you receive â¬10 when retuning the safe key.
Bar staff at this hotel were very slow at serving and are biased in who they serve first having favourites. They came across as rude which isn't ideal for evening or day time bar service.
Animation Team & Evening Entertainment
The animation team provided entertainment for young children all day and a mini disco every night which the children all loved. They then provided bingo and a show for adults. The team were always enthusiatic and seemed to love their job so we couldn't fault them apart from being repetitive.
The evening shows for adults were a little cheesy so we would recommend young adults to go in to the local area for entertainment.
The hotel has one main outdoor pool which was clean and slopes in on the shallow end to aid young children. There is another pool on the side of the hotel which is used for the water sport games by the animation team. The last pool is indoors and is clean but small with a large hot tub next to it.
We were lucky enough to win two lots of tickets to the Spa. The spa pool was lovely, including massage jets and waterfalls. The Spa had steam rooms etc. The Spa was lovely and not very expensive. So we would definitely recommend a visit.
The cleaner came every day to change the towels however, some days it seemed they forgot to give us both a towel or the bath room mat? Also they do not replace the shampoo and conditioner or plastic cups that they provide on your first day.
Wi-Fi was provided for free in the lobby and certain parts of the bar area. No Wi-Fi is received in the rooms.
If you are lucky enough to get a good room when you arrive, then this is a good hotel for the cheap price. Just expect to have repetitive, cheap quality food and a low level of service overall.
Recommend: The Spaghetti House - 5 min walk from the hotel serving beautiful italian food. Well the best we could find in Salou.
Use the on-road train outside the hotel for PortAventura Theme park and Costa Caribe Water Park! Very cheap and does not take too long.More
