This place gives you a trio of pools to choose from. And you’re only a short walk from the beach.
This place has a trio of pools, including a big lagoon number. There’s also a large buffet restaurant and a lounge bar that hosts nightly live entertainment like cabaret. The luxury spa rounds things off.
It’s less than 15 minutes’ walk to Playa Capellans Beach, while Levante Beach is even closer. And while it’s a 10-minute walk to the main strip, there are bars and restaurants just outside the door.
The hotel runs the club for ages 3 to 12 years. Whatever your little ones are into they'll be well entertained here. There's art, sports, games and films during the day. And the fun continues into the evening with shows, face painting and a mini-disco.
Cozy twin rooms are kitted out with air-conditioning from June to September, plus a fridge, satellite TV, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. A balcony provides you with a bit of outdoor space. These rooms sleep up to 4 with 2 extra beds.

I stayed here for a week with my family in August 2014 for a week with Thomson Holidays. It was a brilliant hotel not too far away from the airport or the beach. Brilliant friendly staff and cheap prices at the bar even if you wasn't all inclusive. We we're all inclusive and the food was amazing. A different selection every day. The rooms were quite standard but it doesn't matter considering the rooms were only used to change and shower in most of the time. Apart from that this was a very good 4 star hotel.More

Good Hotel, enjoyable stay
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the food was good and there was plenty of variety. The room was clean and spacious with a large balcony. We were there in July and there was a rush every morning to get sunbeds, although there seemed to be plenty of them. I would go to this hotel againMore
Just arrived back from Salou stayed at Golden Port Hotel, had wonderful time. All staff polite and understand English. Rooms cleaned daily will say rooms require update looking outdated especially for 4 Star. Food outstanding lots of choice for kids adults and even vegetarian. Plenty of space in resturant could imagine how busy could be in high season. We was full board drinks at bar was cheap however you can pay 15euros per person per day to upgrade to all inclusive, ask at reception. Outside pool was cold not heated however was indoor poor open daily. The Spa was 6euros not much to offer steam room etc. We arrived in Barcelona due to no flights from Salou Airport, booked car hire which only took 1 hour 30 min to Salou. Car hire was much cheaper than paying for transfer service for 5 people was £350 and car hire was £120 for 7 day hire with no excess cover (Solmar car hire ) so much to do visit Barcelona by bus only 29 euro or cheaper by train. Portaventura Theme Park cost around 45euros well worth the visit.
Free wi fi excellent speed managed to get in bedroom which was plus especially if you have social media kids. EnjoyMore
My partner and I stayed here in July 2015 for 2 weeks on a half board basis.
Firstly, the hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are helpful and courteous. The size of the room was pretty small with us being there 2 weeks as there was not a lot of storage. However the room was cleaned every day with clean towels provided (which is the most important thing). There was a small fridge in the room however this didn't really work and did not have a lot of space which wasn't great.
The hotel is family orientated, given it was height of summer there was a lot kids - if you don't like this it's not for you. There are two swimming pools and lots of sunbeds (although if you want a good spot with a parasol you have to get up at around 7:45am - as we were going to the pool at 9:30am and there wasn't much left.) the entertainment team were good fun, especially for the kids. However I enjoyed the water aerobics everyday as the man who took it was hilarious - also made you feel like you were working off a little bit of the food and drink!!
This was the first time we had went half board, I would say that it would be good for you if you have children as I know eating out can be expensive. As there is a range of nationalities at this hotel - dinners were often a large varied selection to appeal to the different cultures. The food was good, there was always something I could eat at dinner, however the dinners did become repetitive. I will say that breakfast was amazing. So much choice - the fresh pancakes were lush.
The location of the hotel is closer to Port Aventura (which is fab - you should definitely go!) however it took only around 10 minutes to walk to the main centre of the resort. Although I would say if you have difficulties walking be careful of some of the pavements as they are pretty uneven.
All in all we had a great holiday and the Golden Port was a fab base to enjoy Salou. More
