A great pool and buffet restaurant makes this place stand out from the crowd. Plus, the beach is just a stroll away.
The Belvedere comes with a big main pool. It scores highly on the food front, too, with a poolside snack bar and an international buffet restaurant. At night, the bar hosts bingo and live shows.
The centre of Salou is just a 10-minute walk down the road – you’ll find a sandy beach, and a host of shops, bars and restaurants. It’s the same time to PortAventura, Spain’s number one theme park.

Ok I'll be totally honest here! Booked for a quick week away. Got a great deal for the two of us and didn't expect much. I'll start with the positives- The food is really good with lots of choice. Its not fine dining but a good array of dishes in buffet style. The rooms are awful. Two huge beds crammed into 1 room. Decor is dated and bed sheets are too. Need a fridge in the rooms but I've no idea where it would be placed it's so cramped. The verandas are tiny. I wouldn't like one high up if I had kids. The children's entertainment is average and once the entertainment is finished at night, it's like a massed exodus.lights out at 10 and the bar closes shortly after. That's no joke! By far, the poolside was the dirtiest I've ever seen, the sunloungers boggin. I wrote a trip advisor review whilst I was there. Next thing I knew, I had a letter on my bed asking me to meet with the manager, a bottle of olive oil, and some sweets.(I have no idea why I was gifted olive oil , maybe to drink haha). I did meet and told him my thoughts on the poolside area. Next evening, staff were making a halfhearted attempt to jet wash the poolside and loungers directly below our room . It was as if they were doing it for show as the staff member kept looking up towards our room or maybe it was to annoy us for my review. In my personal opinion it wasn't for us and we won't return. Stayed here for 2 weeks during the summer with my family and the hotel was very accommodating. We had three double rooms and we requested pool view rooms but unfortunately did not get them. The rooms were modern and comfortable. I personally didn't enjoy the breakfast and dinner but I am a very fussy eater and my family enjoyed it. The pool was great and the entertainment staff were so friendly. Overall I would return to this hotel.More

Since booking again for next year I have found out that it will be an all new Animation team as Kevin now stays here in Glasgow ( met up with him ) and Toni looking to focus on his music!! While we were there there was also Albie but he has since returned to his home town. Don't know if the new team will be as good as that was the reason we re booked for next yearMore
Great hotel perfect for everyone
I travelled to Salou the first week of October for a much needed break away with my boyfriend. Travelled with Thomson, great flight, no problems and great transfers to and from the hotel. Arrived before the check in time. This wasn't a problem and our room was ready straight away. We got a warm welcome when we arrived and all the staff throughout the holiday were lovely and always had a smile on their faces. Room was perfect for the both of us. Only thing I didn't like was the matteress on the bed but we got used to it. Abit hard and lumpy. We had a nice balcony that over looked the pool just above the outdoor stage. Bathroom provided everything we needed for the week. We were half board therefore we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food was nice, tasty but got abit boring after a week. Breakfast was always the same and dinner varied. Some nights I struggled to find something I really wanted. We never had a problem finding a table but I imagine there would be a wait during peak seasons. We didn't really witness any of the entertainment that the hotel provided but we could hear karaoke and aerobics classes from our room. Oh and the tv had English channels so I didn't miss my soaps haha! The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the shops, pubs/clubs, 10 minute walk from the beach and if you fancied it a 20 minute walk to Portaventura Brilliant themepark and home to the tallest rollercoaster in Europe, Shambhala! We got our tickets to the park before we went from Attraction tickets direct. Best value for money. We also booked a trip to Barcelona with Thomson to visit the Nou Camp and free time. We felt that this trip had it pros and cons, we didn't think that the trip to the Nou Camp was worth the money, Very run down stadium and it was all about the money. Loads of photo opportunities that we avoided. No tour guide to give you information or someone to ask questions. Very disappointed! We loved the sea aquarium on the other hand. better than some of the ones in the UK. On the last day we decided to do the 2 hour trip on the little blue train. Yes people were right, you do get a numb bum haha, We didn't last the full 2 hours because I got desperate for the toilet an hour and a half into the trip so we got off near Burger King. Overall I would go back to this hotel again especially for a return trip to Portaventura!More
Stayed at Belvedere last week in September and first week in October. First week was very good but on second week it was obvious they were winding down for the end of season. The hotel closed the next week. There were less staff in dining room which led to long queues at show counter and food wasn't replenished quickly. Less fresh fruit was available etc. The pool area was good with plenty of sunbeds and was well supervised by the lifeguard. Hotel very well situated for bars and restaurants of Salou which were only five minutes walk away. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Evening entertainment was very disappointing - dance acts three nights in a row. I would recommend this hotel due to its convenient location but would advise staying at a different time of year when everything is up and running.More
