Just a five-minute walk from the centre of Salou, this multi-national hotel is in a great spot. Not only have you got a host of shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep, but the beach is only about ten minutes away, too. What’s more, Spain’s number one theme park, PortAventura, is just a 10 minute walk away.
Back at the hotel, day-to-day life tends to centre around the lively pool area. You’ll find a huge main pool, as well as a smaller one for the kids. There’s a snack bar out here, too, which serves up a good selection of home favourites around the clock, including burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches. Talking of food, the hotel also has a buffet restaurant where you can head for breakfast and evening meals.
You're spoilt for choice when it comes to keeping busy here, too. Catch the latest football game at the bar, or relax in the sauna or Turkish bath. In the evenings, meanwhile, there is bingo followed by live music and dancing.
Last but not least, a word on the hotel’s bedrooms. They’re simply decorated, with whitewashed walls and bright soft furnishings the norm. Plus, they all come with satellite TVs and air-conditioning.

good hotel, great holiday
We stayed at the Belvedere sep 2013,The only problem with this hotel is checking in we stood for nearly an hour to check in,but that was the only thing we found bad to say about the hotel. The rooms were very clean and bath room was a bit small but i didnt go there to sit in the bathroom all day,the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool area was great, the dining area was very good and food was nice but could do with a bit more choice, The hotel does have entertainment which is good if you want to stay in but be prepared to pay over the top for your drinks, the hotel is just a short walk to the town centre, where there is plenty of good bars and night life, also the theme park is 15minutes walk from the hotel.overall the hotel and holiday is all we expected,i would certainly go back again.More

FANTASTIC HOTEL - GREAT LOCATION AND GREAT VALUE
We stayed at this hotel last July for 1 week before joining a cruise from Barcelona. I didn't book a package but booked through a hotel site and arranged everything else separately. I chose this hotel as it got some good reviews and also appeared in a few Travel Brochures. It was an excellent find. We had a good size room, 1 Double and single room which overlooked the pool. I chose this hotel as I didn't want all inclusive after years of the sunbed stampede and having to get up at a crazy hour on holiday to queue for sunbeds as nobody leaves the hotel. We arrived at the Hotel at 11am - went to our room - opened the patio doors. Loads of loungers available - stacks of them. Not once all week did we have to get up early. You could have breakfast - then go and get loungers as there were always loads available - in peak season. Rare find. The room was kept immaculate - we never had any issues with housekeeping not making our rooms. One morning they were running late as they had a lot of arrivals - but we told reception and they were all made up before we returned. Staff were lovely - we were half board. Yes - like any buffet style restaurant - people jump queues and bumble around but don't blame the hotel. These are common findings in any hotel with self service restaurants and food stations. Breakfast they had omelette and pancake stations/ excellent choice of hot/ cold/ yoghurts/ fruit and Cava. Dinner was varied. Fantastic salads with varied choices/ grills every evening/ fish - even Candy Floss machine once a week ( I admit - the Candy floss was chaotic). How people can say the food is repetitive is beyond belief. There is enough choice for everyone - some nice themed evenings and food quality was far superior to many 4 star and all inclusive hotels we have stayed in. It is perfectly located for Port Aventura - a 10-15 minute walk away. We used to lunch in a pub called the Fox and Hounds - a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Lunches were great. 1 Euro per pint of Lager and good rinks. From Hotel head to top of road. Cross over. Keep walking and crossing until you reach the square ( supermarket on right). Fox and Hounds is visible on right. This Hotel is worthy of 4 star. Please don't be put off by negative reviews. For anybody who finds fault in this hotel - you must be hard to please. It is great value for money in a great location. Foam party and inflatables for the children were brilliant. OK - inflatables could be a bit chaotic - but it wasn't all day and was fun. I have stayed in Salou before in higher graded Hotels ( part of a chain) and this was far superior to those. Enjoy your holiday. Another tip - there is more choice over here with Port Aventura tickets and deals seem better. If in doubt - check their website but you will pay over the odds if you buy at the gate. We would certainly not hesitate to stay here again - and would definitely recommend to anybody. A truly great value stay, with no hassle of queuing for loungers which made it a much more relaxing holiday.More

A great holiday
We have stayed in salon several times and this hotel is great although when we was staying so were lots of students so some nights there was some noise in corridors but nothing that kept us awake !!!! Very clean and large beds also a great pool some days this does get very busy so make sure you are down early if you do want a good spot. Food in the hotel was great and a wide selection the spa pool down stairs was very relaxing and worth a visit. The hotel offered day time and evening activities although we did go into the town as there are some great places and pubs and bars to visit.More

A good hotel to stay with the family, even in the cold and blustery June weather! Hotel is split into two towers above. Booked flights with Jet2 and hotel independantly and much cheaper, by hundreds than travek agents. Around £1500 for three adults & 2 kids 15/12 for a week full board for flights and accomodation in school holiday week in two rooms. Hotel food was plentiful and live cooking. Around 8/9 different choices of hot food each night as well as rices, pastas. fresh pizzas, salads etc. Its bound to be repetitive cooking so much each night. Hotel had a lot of Spanish who think it is standard to push people and be rude, but thats not the hotels fault. Entertainment was ok for a week, but was mainly aimed at the spanish. We walked 5-10 mins to a couple of bars watching live singers; single vodka and coke in hotel was around 5-6 euros. Drinks are very expensive. Use the bus company nearbeach to book trips as they are very cheap and no different than others. We went to Barcelona which was an excellent day, but do not use the reps offer of eating at the picadero which the rep recommends as the food is average and we were served a burger with blood dripping. There are many food places locally. Beach is very nice and the front area well maintained. weather tried to spoil the week, but we enjoyed the break. Market from hotel is around a 30-40 minute walk. There is also a lift/winch chair for disabled people to enter the pool.More
Very disappointed with this hotel, but on the bright side we were only there for a week. The room we were given was very small, it consisted of two beds, a small chair, a dressing table, two bedside cabinets and a small wardrobe. This took up nearly all of the floor space. The dressing table and bedside cabinets did not have any drawers so any odds and ends were always getting lost and cases had to be left on the floor. After a couple of days you find yourself getting depressed just being in the room. The bathroom was one of the smallest we have seen measuring about 173cm x 167cm. It consisted of a sink, bath with shower and w.c. Every time you opened the door it hit the w.c. Having a shower was another experience because it was a constant battle trying to stop the shower curtain engulfing you. The room service leaves a lot to be desired. When we arrived we found two cheap plastic tumblers in the bathroom these did not get changed all week. We would have complained about this but had enough trouble trying to get the beds made. On the Tuesday we came back to the room to find the beds had not been touched but thought the maid had been busy so my wife made them herself. On Wednesday the same thing beds not touched so went to see the Thomson rep. She assured me the beds should be straitened by the maid and would follow it up with the hotel staff. The following day Thursday was our last full day and unbelievably the maid again did not touch the beds. The Thomson rep was not available so I complained to the hotel receptionist who did apologise with a couldn't care less attitude and said she would report it to her supervisor. The next morning our rep was on the pick up coach so I asked her if she had followed up our complaint with the hotel staff. She said she had and was sorry the matter was not resolved. It would seem this hotel and the rep deals with complaints from guests staying only for one week by ignoring them, knowing before long they will be on a plane and gone. The food is more or less the same choice every day, if you like pork you won't go wrong. If you do decide to go to this hotel try and be first off the transfer coach because it takes ages to check in. This Hotel is said to be 10min from the beach. It probably is if you are an athlete in training, but walking there in flip flops is another matter, allow yourself about 20 min.More
