Hotel Belvedere

A great pool and buffet restaurant makes this place stand out from the crowd. Plus, the beach is just a stroll away.

The Belvedere comes with a big main pool. It scores highly on the food front, too, with a poolside snack bar and an international buffet restaurant. At night, the bar hosts bingo and live shows.

The centre of Salou is just a 10-minute walk down the road – you’ll find a sandy beach, and a host of shops, bars and restaurants. It’s the same time to PortAventura, Spain’s number one theme park.

just what you need

Very nice stay just what it says ,nice food, nice place ,we found It very quiet in the rooms but very much fun outside. Very clean room they are cleaned every day. Very helpful staff they go there way to help you the man on the door to the restaurant was very helpful shook your hand and kissed my little girl's hand every day. It made her feel like a little princess thanks xxx. They looked after our bags as we arrived at 7am as to not miss the day so we went out to town till the rooms we ready, while we were waiting to book in the manager got us all drinks nice touch. The man who looked after our bags while we waited for our room helped us a few times throughout our stay thank you both. If you can't find any food you like here well there must be something wrong with you it's excellent, 3 or more meats, 3 fish, Veggie dishes, loads of different veg's and salad every night. Loads of puddings & fruit, more than you can eat yum yum. There is a themed night every night as well, the spanish ones not to be missed, tapas and lamb very nice. Breakfast something for everyone and loads of it. Candy floss and sweets for the kids. Show every night after dinner not to bad kids love the mini disco and pool. Great location close to everything only ten min walk to the main beach and the same to the water park and the biggest themed park in Europe, 5min walk to the shops & Bars. The entertainers make this hotel with great entertainment for both adults and kids during the day and at night. The only downside to staying here is the rooms are a little small but big enough for sleeping in as that's all you need as we were out all day and no tea, coffee, kettle etc. Sunbeds have towels put on them for the day from 6.30am all day and they are left all day empty. Pool a bit small and even more so when they play water polo as you get squashed into the shallow end. But overhaul A1, good job, well done, Hopefully be back soon. Thank you.More

Excellent all around!

Just back from this fantastic place and would definitely return. Staff all working to make sure holidaymakers had a good time. My points: Food - really excellent choice, something for everyone, themed nights, fresh seafood, kids choices, show cooking. Always kept topped up and neat. Dinner was less busy at 630pm and Breakfast was hammered by 10am, but staff held the queue and showed people to their tables when available. Rooms - our family room was at the back of the hotel without a pool view which initially we thought wasnt great, but actually was relatively quiet and we enjoyed that more. Rooms were very clean, a little small, but then wasn't expecting a palace. Entertainment/Bar - the entertainment teams worked their socks off, bravo to them all! They were non stop keeping people entertained and I thought the variety of things going on was great. They did a great job and very infectious with their enthusiasm! Some of the entertainment late in the evening was a little near the knuckle during the 'inviting the guests upto the stage' sections, but I didn't have a problem with it personally. the bar staff were excellent too, had a lot of pride in their area and served drinks quickly and promptly. Coke seemed very expensive - 4 were around 10 euros I think. Location - great location. 10 mins walk to the lush beach or portaventura. 5 mins walk to the nearest supermarket. Free Wifi - but was a bit touch and go at times. Pools - nice to lounge around if you could get near it, with main and kids pool. Getting loungers was a nightmare - most were gone by 730am!! But a nice outside bar seating area nearby when needed.More
