Hotel Belvedere

A great pool and buffet restaurant makes this place stand out from the crowd. Plus, the beach is just a stroll away.

The Belvedere comes with a big main pool. It scores highly on the food front, too, with a poolside snack bar and an international buffet restaurant. At night, the bar hosts bingo and live shows.

The centre of Salou is just a 10-minute walk down the road – you’ll find a sandy beach, and a host of shops, bars and restaurants. It’s the same time to PortAventura, Spain’s number one theme park.

Good Hotel

We stayed here from 15-22 August 2015 and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We have stayed at its sister hotel Vil La Romana twice before which is over the road so was a bit apprehensive dropping down a grade but can honestly say it was fine. Good points- clean rooms ( every day) good animacion team, decent food, good location, friendly staff Bad points- No fridge Forget about a sunbed if not there by 8am. Rooms on small side. Would I go again, yes if returning to Salou, but as we've been 7 times I don't think we will return lolMore

Great holiday here,! We had a fantastic stay here, all staff very helpful. Reception staff were great, but the restaurant staff were brilliant. With 2 small children they were always welcoming and understanding. I was very impressed with the food, have been half board in many places but this had the wow factor. Always lots of choice and very good quality. Hotel is a good location, not too far from port adventura and the beach. Plenty of supermarkets, literally one on every corner. Rooms were very clean and we had clean towels every single day! Room were a little tight however and I would of liked a fridge, would even pay extra to hire one in room! every single year I travel to a different location, however I would definitely return here and to this hotel. Fingers crossed you have fridges next year 👍🏻!More

Honest review from fussy traveller

Was a bit worried about booking this three star hotel, especially after staying last year at the four star Salauris Palace and having read some of the reviews but can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was small but clean, tv with English channels, good free wifi, plenty of clean towels and hot water. Beds were more comfortable than they looked and air con worked well and wasn't too noisy. Restaurant was a bit busy and disorganised and there were queues for the show cooking stations as only one member of staff on each but the food itself was lovely, the drinks were cheap by hotel standards and it is possible to swap evening meal for lunch if you give notice at reception which was brill when we wanted to go to Port Aventura for the night (queues for rides and shows are much shorter if you go between 6-7.30). Pool area was a bit of a disappointment and we did struggle to get sunbeds but the entertainment staff were brill and kept those who wanted to be entertained busy all day. We didn't stay by the pool much though as the beach is so lovely and at 5 euros a day for a sunbed, it was much more appealing. Some staff were more friendly than others but on the whole I was impressed with the majority of them. The hotel was clean and is in an excellent location close to shops, beach and port aventura. In my opinion, for what it's worth, the extra £400 it would have cost me to go 4 star was money well saved and I would not hesitate to return to this hotel again.More

Arrived at this hotel on 27th of July for a one week holiday. On arrival at the hotel we were then TOLD by the receptionist that we had been moved to another hotel, not even so much an explanation as to why this happened was giving to us. Complete and utter bad management in my opinion on the hotels behalf to have no room for someone who booked a holiday 6 months prior to arrival and not to mention peak season in the year. After much talk we asked to speak to a manager who basically told us we could take the other hotel they had a arranged or find our own! After 20 mins inside and 10mins speaking to a manager we eventually got an attempt at an apology and decided we had no other option but to go with the hotel they had organised. The other hotel on arrival seemed fine, rooms were clean and tidy but little did we know the distance we now had to walk to the beach, shops restaurants bars etc. after spending 600 euro on a holiday we then ended up paying extra everyday/night for taxis and buses.. Absolute disgraceful and the last thing you need to hear getting off a flight!!! Would not recommend to anyone. Unreliable !!!More

Staff with poor english

Hotel not bad, comfy bed, clean. Bit noisy from the street. Restaurant and some reception staff with poor english, which was a surprise because half of the guests were english, the food was mostly english(which I was not happy about)going to Spain I counted more likely on Spanish food not fatty english breakfast etc.. wi-fi hmmm could hardly get a signal.More
