We stayed here for 11 nights and it was our first time in Salou. Like all the other reviews tell you this hotel is very close to everything you could possibly need including portaventura which we visited for the day very pricey but well worth it be aware they are very strict with height restrictions. Back to the hotel the food was amazing we paid £600.00 for 11nights breakfast and dinner included plenty to choose from chefs constantly refreshing the food. The entertainers mainly speak Spanish but seem to do their job well although they are very noisy during the day and night the hotel could do with a entertainment hall and a separate closed area if you don't want to listen to them. Three suggestion to the hotel management would be to update the music the entertainer play for around the pool in the day time as most of the music is from 2002-2009. Also the beds in the rooms are like camps with just the one pillow per person very uncomfortable. And the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant could be more attentive to guest rather than treating people like cattle. Ten out of ten for bar man Tono . All in all we enjoyed our stayMore

Clean, Friendly and very enjoyable
This was a 2 week holiday we booked via Thomson, we flew to the local airport of Reus, a 20 min journey away. on arrival the reception had our room ready on the 1st floor block 2. we were rather disappointed as it has 2 extremely slim single beds a balcony that looked at next door hotel wall and the bins below. back to reception and asked if there were other rooms, the girl told us the hotel was full however ask tomorrow. that night we lived out of our suitcase before going back to the same girl at reception, she had written our room number down and had us another room, 6th floor block 1, as soon as we went in we knew it was good, 2 double beds a better room and although not a pool view we had a view up towards the theme park.
Our board was Breakfast and evening meal. while breakfast was the same routine every morning and it was lovely the evening meal had various theme nights with different countries food and I have to say the food was very enjoyable, at the pool side the entertainment team start around 10am and continue with games etc throughout the day. the sauna and Jacuzzi in the basement are worth a visit if the weather is poor. bars are a short walk from the hotel, if someone said to me they were thinking of booking this hotel I would say yes, go for it, not bad at all.
ps. our surprise was free wifi everywhere, rooms, pool, bar, well done for that.More

Fantastic and friendly
On check in, I did find the lady receptionist a bit rude, as she ignored me and kept seeing to other people behind me, but in the end, David checked me in and he was very efficient and polite.
Room was very spacious with two large beds in it. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned every day along with fresh clean towels.
Sauna and jacuzzi were relaxing - just a shame the steam room was out of order.
There is a gym, but it is very small and not lots of machines in it.
Restaurant staff very professional and polite. Plenty selection on food - something for everyone.
The beach is clean and only a 10 min walk from the hotel, along with the shops and nightlife.
One evening, they had a group of dancers on in the hotel and they were brilliant. I'd love to see them again, as i missed half of the show with being outside in the town.
Salou is a lovely place to visit. Tarragona is also worth a visit - only 20 minutes on the bus - and the bus prices are very cheap too.
Booked through Travel Republic (who are very easy to deal with) - definitely worth the money and a lovely hotel to stay in too - I will definitely be back again next year.More

Good food, nice and clean
Good location, near to walk to Portaventura and also to the local pubs.Only downfall is that I have put on weight because of the puddings. The weather was not good but that can't be helped, would go againMore
Great Base for exploring salou & surrounding areas
1st trip abroad for 8yrs
Very easy book in by friendly helpful staff. We were early so our room wasn't ready but our cases were put in a secure room so we could leave the hotel and get our bearings.
Travel information office is just down the rd so we got a local map and bus information for near by Cambrils, Tarragona and Reus.
Our room was clean and tidy and just what requested. Top floor with a pool view. Two double beds pushed together so it wasn't romantic but we were comfortable and slept well.
We paid 20⬠deposit for a tv remote and I used the hotel hair dryer all week. Handy plug socket at side of bed for charging phones. Fresh towels and beds made every day. Shower was good powerful and hot. Free hand wash/shampoo provided. Shaver plug in bathroom. Chairs, table and clothes drying rack on balcony.
We didn't watch the hotel entertainment as we visited Salou night life a short walk away. Lots of annoying people touting for business. Many cheap tacky shops.
Hotel food was great. We love all food and enjoyed trying different flavours. Great Spanish omelettes. Plenty of salads, fruit meat, pizza and much more.We were very greedy bit thats what holidays are for. The restaurant staff could have been abit friendlier and we felt they only interacted with Spanish speaking customers. We did not buy drinks in the restaurant as we we bought cheaper water from the many Local supermarkets nearby. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and the staff were friendly. Had to walk to near the restaurant for the toilet. Always carry loo roll in your handbag ladies. Many toilets in Salou had run out including the hotel public loo.
My husband used the pool but it was too cold for me, I swam in the sea instead. I wanted to use jacuzzi but ran out of time.
Too busy using our T10 bus card from Plana travel shops 15⬠for 10 trip excellent value. Also booked a Barcelona coach day trip 25⬠spent alot of time on the coach but loved seeing the sights.
Early flight home and we were able to book an early breakfast 7am. It was basic cereal and toast but filled us up ready for our journey home.
Great holiday we had fun and the lovely hotel Belvedere served us well would return
