Hotel Belvedere

Just a five-minute walk from the centre of Salou, this multi-national hotel is in a great spot. Not only have you got a host of shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep, but the beach is only about ten minutes away, too. What’s more, Spain’s number one theme park, PortAventura, is just a 10 minute walk away.

Back at the hotel, day-to-day life tends to centre around the lively pool area. You’ll find a huge main pool, as well as a smaller one for the kids. There’s a snack bar out here, too, which serves up a good selection of home favourites around the clock, including burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches. Talking of food, the hotel also has a buffet restaurant where you can head for breakfast and evening meals.

You're spoilt for choice when it comes to keeping busy here, too. Catch the latest football game at the bar, or relax in the sauna or Turkish bath. In the evenings, meanwhile, there is bingo followed by live music and dancing.

Last but not least, a word on the hotel’s bedrooms. They’re simply decorated, with whitewashed walls and bright soft furnishings the norm. Plus, they all come with satellite TVs and air-conditioning.

True and Honest

Just arrived back from Belveder Hotel 17/4/14. Fond the hotel to be clean and friendly. We were greeted on arrival with a smile. The rooms are nice,we had a pool view which had two five foot beds in it.Rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. The restaurant was clean with the staff were very helpful, who were overseen by a senior staff. The food was very nice,a good selection.Freshly cooked omelets for breakfast. There was a good selection for both breakfast and dinner. We were only half board so cant comment about lunch. All in all i would say that this hotel is a good 3 star hotel. The beach is about 10 min walk, beautiful golden sand. Some of the bars were only 1.50 euro for Lager.very cheap. If i had any criticism,it would be that some of the food could have been a bit hotter. Especially the bacon in the mornings. But l would not let spoil my holiday or my review of this hotel.More

This is not a review, I would like to make an enquiry about the hotel but can't find an email address. I would like to know if the hotel would accommodate a party of 4 adults and 2 children in 1 large room or adjoining rooms. Any advice would be great, thanks. More

Fantastic place

I have to admit after reading the reviews, we came here rather worried. It was totally un necessary as this hotel is excellent. As soon as we got off the plane the beautiful weather greeted us !! Transfers were easy going, and it was only a short hop from the airport. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, beach, shops restaurants and supermarkets are all to hand. The pool is lovely and clean....and warm !! We went half board, and found the food good but a little repetitive. ? However still plenty of choice and lots of desserts to satisfy the sweet tooth. I really cant recommend this hotel enough, I would go bk in a heartbeat. The entertainment is brilliant and the staff make sure there is plenty to do for the kiddies. We went mid September and could not fault the weather, it was well in the 20c everyday. We ent to portaventura, which was expensive !! Beware of all the people trying to sell you knock off tickets tho, we we're pretty much harrassed half a mile from loads of different sellers. Overall you wont go wrong holidaying at this hotel, or un Salou. More

Becky P,

Great hotel and entertainment

We stayed at the Belvedere hotel for 2 weeks in september 2013 on first arrival was busy with everyone checking in but we expected that we were given our keys and made welcome by the check in desk then headed to our room , the room was spacious with a nice view and generally pretty quite at night , there was both myself ,wife and our 3 year old daughter . The restaurant was very nice with a good selection of food and mega selection of sweet stuff and pudding my only slight criticism would be that when pizza or some other food was served it would be cold but apart from that it was lovely and the restaurant manager made up for anything with his friendly approach and nice manor while we were there. Entertainment although mainly catered for spanish at this time of year was fantatsic and we were made to feel welcome by nuna who is an absolute asset to the hotel who not only entertained every child who stayed in the hotel but took time to personally great everyone and find out about you and make you feel welcome even taking time to get some of us to participate in shows and general entertainment over the period of time taht we stayed. in salou itself the beaches are fantastic and we were very lucky not only with the weather but temperature also , the shopping can get a bit repetative so i suggest you take time to take in the magic show and explore terragona and other places like portaventura and the waterpark , all in all it was a great family holiday and we will be returning in 2015 .More

good hotel, great holiday

We stayed at the Belvedere sep 2013,The only problem with this hotel is checking in we stood for nearly an hour to check in,but that was the only thing we found bad to say about the hotel. The rooms were very clean and bath room was a bit small but i didnt go there to sit in the bathroom all day,the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool area was great, the dining area was very good and food was nice but could do with a bit more choice, The hotel does have entertainment which is good if you want to stay in but be prepared to pay over the top for your drinks, the hotel is just a short walk to the town centre, where there is plenty of good bars and night life, also the theme park is 15minutes walk from the hotel.overall the hotel and holiday is all we expected,i would certainly go back again.More
