Brilliant holiday.

Great hotel the staff at reception are okay but it's when u meet the staff cooks and waitresses/waiters in the dining room you get fantastic customer service and smiles. The hotel lobby, dining room lounge areas, pool area stairways and halls are very very modern etc and nice places to be indeed, the rooms are also very nice if a little more basic but not unliveable in the slightest. Food is fantastic there may be eight to ten dishes, so not a massive variety but I could easily taste and enjoy 90% of what's there there is always something, I think they have went for quality not quantity. Entertainment is entertaining enough if a little confusing and unusual but it makes it interesting. Hotel is ten minute walk from beach and maybe fifteen minutes to portaventura so very good location lots of bars, shops, cafes and supermarkets in immediate area, excursion wise Barcelona is a must for one or two day trips and jeep aventure was fantastic. Beaches are clean and tidy in salou I would definitely stay in this hotel again definitely a four star. More

Arran K,

Enjoyed the two weeks at this hotel

Hotel very clean and well maintained in a great location. I found the food to be of a good standard although repeating during the second week but I think this happens in most hotels, being a buffet you can eat as much or as little as you want. The staff in all areas were friendly and very helpful. The entertainment on a couple of nights was excellent but generally speaking the other nights were not to my liking, but it is not possible to please everyone in regards to entertainment. The pool area is well maintained and supervised although the old problem of towels on sun beds occurs but not as prevalent here as other hotels I have stayed in. Overall a good hotel with no discernible bad pointsMore

Hotel is clean and swish Rooms are stylish and clean Food quality is great, great breakfast lunchtime can sometimes lack food but all in all great taste,..... No drinks supplied at dinner only breakfast but water is only €1.50 For a bottle water. Pool area needs more sun loungers felt like we had to be up at 8.30 on the dot to be down for 9 to get a bed pool is small but has some Cool features like 2 jets and a small jacuzzi Staff seem friendly and helpful when questions are asked! also the maids are great, lifts work like clock work location is great with only a 10 min walk to the front Would say things needed explaining about meal More as we didn't get told about drinks for dinner, just got sprung with a bill, but wasn't expensive, tvs in the room could do with maybe couple more English channels If possible ? Would recommend highly More

Have just returned from this hotel had requested a room on the 6th floor and got it fantastic service from the hotel and all the staff the beds are a little hard but it's not a problem the food was lovely and our room was very clean 10mins walk to portaventure and about 5 to the beach all in all a great hotel More

Catherine P,

Came here for our 'minimoon'

My husband and i stayed in this hotel 5-12th June. We had just been married on the 3 June and we were just wanting a week in the sun at a decent hotel and this delivered. It takes about 45 mins by coach from the airport but on the way back we had to get a taxi and this was €30 and only took about 15 mins! I can't fault the hotel itself, decor lovely, kept extremely clean, probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in! Food was lovely, i have a few intolerances and was able to find something every night that suited me.. Desserts were amazing (especially the brownie squares and the rice pudding) I have to say though the best thing about this hotel is the staff that work at the bar/cafe at the hotel. Juan & (i think Daniel) particularly. So friendly & always smiling and chatting no matter how many hours they had been on their feet! The only couple of negatives that i would say would be that we used this hotel for our honeymoon and the travel agents we booked through emailed before and told them that this was our honeymoon, i also sent a seperate email to say so. We weren't offered any sort of upgrade nor a congratulations from any of the reception staff (this note would have been with our booking) I would also say the sound proof in the rooms is very poor. We unfortunately had noisey neighbours next to us and we could hear everything until all hours of the morning and same with the loud music which plays until midnight (this doesnt bother us but if you are someone who would be in bed before that time or have young kids it might prove a problem) You will also encounter the usual people rushing down queing for sunbeds every morning(literally witnessed people sprinting come 9am to claim their sunbed every morning while my Husband and i ate our breakfast) i don't understand why these people can't just 'chill out' it is a holiday after all lol. Anyways thats not the hotels fault however we did witness a few unhappy campers getting their towels removed after leaving them for a short period of time which is totally fair enough however i feel these rules weren't enforced enough as there was a particular couple we noticed daily leaving their towels at 9am then pottering off for breakfast for well over an hour or 2 and their towels were never moved.. I feel if you have rules enforce them and stick to them rather than just picking and choosing. Other than that i really can't fault the hotel, location or our holiday overall. More
