H10 Vintage Salou

The smart H10 Vintage Salou is in a really central part of town, in easy reach of the beach, cafés, and bars.

Right in the heart of Salou, this hotel – once called the H10 Europa Park – is in a prime position among Salou’s shops, bars and restaurants. It’s also a five-minute walk from the beach.

The hotel has a Mediterranean feel that blends modern and classic design. It’s recently been spruced up, and reviews from TripAdvisor are always glowing about its pristine rooms.

Fabulous hotel. Excellent service friendly staff and a first class restaurant.

Stayed for one week from 8th to the 15th of September 2015 and couldn't find a fault with the hotel or staff. We had previously stayed in 2007 when the hotel was named H10 Europa Park and our opinion was the same then. Imagine our surprise at some of the critical reviews it received this summer. We chose to ignore them and had a great holiday. The hotel is well situated for the beach and the centre of Salou. It's only a short walk approx 10 mins to both. The hotel is close to a busy roundabout but traffic noise was not a problem. Our room number 341 was at the back of the hotel overlooking a quiet tree lined street with a children's park opposite us. It was a cool room that only got the evening sun. If you like a sunny balcony then it would be worth booking a room with pool view. The rooms have been described as small but in my opinion they are an average size for a Spanish hotel. Ours was a twin bedded room and the beds were queen size. Upgraded rooms with 3 beds were available. The rooms had been re painted since our previous visit and there was a flat screen TV wall mounted. There was a mini fridge available at a small charge. There was also a room safe free of charge you simply had to leave a 10 euro deposit which was refunded at the end of your stay. Pool towels were available again with a refundable deposit. Guess what? It's the only hotel I have stayed in that actually enforces the no reserving sun beds rule. The lifeguard was around the pool from opening time at 9:00am until it closed and if you left your sunbed unattended your towels were removed and you had to go to reception to get them back. We never had a problem with sunbeds. The Animation team were very friendly and didn't make a nuisance of themselves like they do in other hotels. If you didn't want to join in you were left in peace and no loud brash music around the pool all day. The children staying there seemed to enjoy the Daisy club very much. It was placed alongside the baby pool and could be seen easily from the main pool allowing parents to relax but keep an eye on their children. The dining room was excellent. The hot and cold buffets had something for everyone and every mealtime there was a chef cooking a further choice of dishes for you. All the staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. You were made to feel very welcome.More

Lovely time

Wee stayed in the H10 Vintage Salou from 15/9/15 -22/9/15. Had a great holiday hotel had a very welcoming atmosphere when wee arrived spacious and clean. Staff where very pleasant and kind nothing was ever a problem. Room was ok enough room for 2 people though would have preferred a room with the view of the pool not much to look at from ours. Clean towels and bed sheets every day, well looked after ! Food was grand no problem finding something different to eat every day! Would go back!More

Kerry B,

Very noisy hotel

This hotel is located quite well for the beech and shops but I found it very noisy. It's on a main road which seems to be busy day and night. Also if you book a pool view room the noise is unbearable. The music is so load it's like they have a disco in your bedroom. Also when the entertainment finishes at midnight they scrap the chairs and tables for about half an hour putting them away. The food was fine and the Lobby area was well finished but was glad to get home in the end.More

A very pleasant stay.

We stayed here from 11/09/15 to 18/09/15. The hotel is in an ideal position to access all Salou has to offer. The reception and pool area are quite impressive. The reception area is an ideal area to relax and read out of the sun with a range of comfortable seating in a contemporary setting. It can be difficult in high season finding a sun lounger round the pool unless you join the 9 o'clock surge, however we appeared to be lucky enough to get a lounger most afternoons if we were patient. The rooms are fine but some may not like the glass bathroom doors with gaps at the top and bottom which reduces privacy. We did not have a pool view room so did not get the afternoon sun but the rooms at the rear are quieter since the hotel is on a busy roundabout. The range and quality of the food is very good and they appear to be able to cater for a range of nationalities, however the queues at the coffee machine at breakfast are an irritation. The staff are friendly and efficient especially in the restaurant. The local tax on arrival you might not like but it is offset by the free safe and pool towels providing you pay the returnable deposits. We will definitely return to this hotel.More
