The Hotel Golden Avenida Suites are at the top end of Salou, just a five-minute walk from the nearest shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is only ten minutes from the property, as well. And the Costa Dorada’s star attraction – Portaventura theme park – is just a short bus ride away.
There’s a lot going on back at base. Little ones can get messy with arts, crafts and games at the Thomson Kids’ Club, while adults can look forward to things like aqua aerobics, sports contests and skittles. In terms of relaxation, you’ll find a huge swimming pool bordered by loungers and pine trees. Plus, there’s a separate pool for smaller guests to splash around in.
The suites themselves have just had a makeover, so walls are freshly painted and wooden furnishings are smart and polished. Each suite comes with all the essentials for a family base, too, like kettles, mini-fridges, sinks and microwaves and extras like flatscreen satellite TVs.

All suites have air-conditioning June - September, a lounge with a double bed, a sofa, satellite TV, phone, kettle, sink, microwave, mini-fridge and balcony.
1 bedroom suites sleep 4 or 5 with twin or triple beds in the bedroom.
2 bedroom suites sleep up to 6 with 2 twin bedrooms.
Double rooms sleep up to 4 and are a duplex layout with twin beds in the downstairs bedroom, and a bathroom with WC and sink. Upstairs there is a double bed and sofa in the lounge area, a full bathroom, and a roof terrace.
