Fab Family holiday, the best Thomson Childrens Club Reps ever !
We travelled as a family of 5, my husband, myself, and our 3 girls, 12, 8 and 5. The hotel is very clean and have everything you need and expect in an apart hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean every day bar Sunday. The pool doesn't have the Sun until about 11am daily but this makes no difference, and the kids were in there as soon as we arrived at the pool area. The pool size, the children's pool and life guard were excellent. The hotel provide daily children's entertainment both during the day and in the evening, Eddie is Fab and the kids love him, he really is star and a real asset to this hotel! The best feature of this hotel bar far has to be the Thomson Kids Rep's Lauren and Chloe! 2 of children cried when we had to leave after 2 weeks! They are the best children's rep's we have ever had the joy of meeting, and really do work for the children, making each and every one feel special. The chocolate party is a real highlight, but please don't plan to go out for food afterward as your child will need a shower to remove all the chocolate !! Lauren and Chloe keep doing what your doing..... Darcy and Ruby miss you so much !! The beach is a 5 minutes walk away and there are some really great restaurants on the curve a little further walk down the road past eth beach turning. The Route 66 does the best breakfast we have ever had outside of the UK!More

Great fantastic brilliant
We got a fantastic bargain with thomson holidays two weeks in the sunclub apartments for a bargain price of £200 including flights and transfers so we wasnt expecting anything great, but i cannot fault it in any way, the rooms were spotless, with fresh towels whenever you needed, the staff were very friendly and accomodating, the pool area was lovely, and the sun terrace up on the 5th floor was fantastic somewhere to relax with fantastic views of cap salou, will definately be coming back next year.More

A great hotel, suitable for families
We had teenagers and toddler and there was something for everyone. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our youngest really enjoyed the kids club. Nightly entertainment was good most of the time except when Eddie took a night off. Very safe environment for kids. Pool area was great and there is also a lovely beach nearby. The Thompson reps John, Chloe, and Lauren were extremely nice and very helpful. The wifi needs to be improved and it would be great if it was free in common areas.More

Pros and Cons
We were checked in as soon as we arrived, just after 11am. Room was spotless and remained that way for our 2 wk stay. Maids were in cleaning, changing bedding and towels every day except Sunday as it is their day off. Pros: Location is quite ( Salou is 10 mins by bus or 40 min walk) Plenty of sun beds available. Gorgeous cove to relax at only few 100 Meters away. Transport link right outside hotel and run frequently . 10 mins walk to Le Pineda, fabulous beach, great restaurants and plenty of shopping. 10 mins to Aquapolis water park. Clean hotel. Supermarket right in door step. Bar food ok Most staff are friendly Cons: If it's peace and quite you are after, you won't find it here. Walls are like paper and every noise can be heard. Family for four nights entertained (carcasm intended) other guests with their screaming, shouting, throwing objects about the place, hurling abuse at staff, stealing from the shop and staff areas . These people didn't book through Falcon (Thomson ) but booked direct through hotel, so even thought 13 or so complaints were received, management didn't ask them to leave. Ear plugs are definitely a must. No free wifi. If you spend over â¬2 on alcohol and bring receipt to reception, they'll give you a code for half an hours use. Not great in this day and age, especially with two teenagers in tow plus it didn't work in the room, only at the bar! If you are any way someone who suffers with leg or back pain or any ailment, Cap Salou is a very hilly area and not for the faint hearted. We had a good time overall as a holiday is what you make it but I won't be returning again. We travelled to Cambrils, Le Pineda, Tarragona, Barcelona and Salou, so didn't spend too much time in hotel. There are three really good bars/restaurants in Cap Salou, Smugglers (ribs to die for), Tropical (kebabs and curries are fab) and Route 66 (breakfasts were good value). If you like fish, head to Cambrils as the fish you'll get to eat had been caught that day. HthMore
Nice and clean. Pool doesn't get the sun till after lunch. Quiet location just a bus ride away from salou and theme park. Buy the bus card it saves you a lot of money. Would stay here again. Staff friendly.More
