Great family holiday
Just back from 2 weeks and we all had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone that's looking for a relaxing family holiday. Room - basic but has everything you need. Cleaned everyday but Sunday ( cleaners day off ) fresh towels, floors cleaned and beds made, couldn't ask for more. Hotel opposite is very noisey if you get a pool facing view but not sunclub fault. Facilities - Pool is cold as sun doesn't get on it till midday but kids didn't care and spent lots of time in it, nice parks and enclosed football pitch. Restaurant/bar is very nice and food is good and reasonable priced. Supermarket attached is also reasonable priced and has pretty much everything you'll need. Staff - very helpful and polite ( except one of the bar staff but management dealt with our problem with him ) Entertainment - Basic and abit repetitive but Eddie did a great job and kids all loved it. Area - lovely 15 mins walk into salou or La Pineda which both have great beaches and shops/restaurants. Bus stop right outside hotel which is a great advantage. Locally there are a few nice restaurants ( smugglers particularly a favourite ) and some nice cove beaches. Aquapoliis in La Pineda is a must for any family to go, Dolphin show was amazing. All in all couldn't have enjoyed our stay here more.More

Family hol 12th-26th May 2015
Just returned today from Sunclub 12th-26th May. had an amazing time with family, Hotel was clean and most staff were friendly. pool is freezing cold as other reviews state and sun doesnt get to pool area till after approx 11.30am. restaraunt food was good and reasonably priced. found the smugglers bar round the corner was probs best for food though.the beach is a 2 min walk, bus stops to salou, tarragona,la pineda etc; were right outside, would advise getting a bus card from reception 12 euros for 10 journeys, which works out a lot cheaper than if you pay the driver on the bus. THOMSON Rep Jolly John was always available if needed for any questions.evening entertainment wasnt the best but Eddie did what he could and was great with the kids in the evening. apartments were basic but had nearly everything you needed for self-catering.met some top people whilst there only drawback was music from the hotel next door was way too loud until late as kids couldnt sleep.. overall had a great time and consider going again..And there is a kids club when previously told there wasnt..More

We have just arrived back from sunclub Salou and had a absolutely fantastic holiday. Our rooms were cleaned daily with the bedding and towels being changed other than their one day off which is Sunday - although our little boy was sick on the bedding and the rep John got the cleaners in straight away with new bedding. Our balcony overlooked the pools and got the sun all afternoon, we travelled with 2 small children ages 1 & 2 and they slept fine and there was NO issues with noise as other people have said. There's a few bars / pubs and a nice beach nearby and Salou is a short bus ride away All the staff are lovely especially the rep 'jolly' John he couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend ðMore
Just got back had an awesome time if your looking for a great family holiday then this is the place very quite so the kids didn't get woke up on a night they were great with the kids and it's only 5 mins on bus to get into the main part of salou the staff did anything you asked and solved any problems very fast can't wait to go back next year or even looking for later on this year More
Was really excited to be going on holiday here. Unfortunately, a few things let us down. Please note however, the staff (out with the cleaners comment below) were all great and very friendly. Issues as follows: 1. Biggest issue is the extreme noise. Impossible to sleep Prior to midnight due to the outside entertainment and loudspeakers from the H10 hotel next door. Unfortunately, the Sun Club hotel is the victim of selfish behaviour of this hotel. Families beware. Having small kids ourself, it lead to them having very little sleep. 2. The beds in the hotel have seen better days. We even moved rooms due to the noise level (moving rooms made now difference) and the beds were just as poor 3. Cleaners on our floor were very lazy. Over the weeks stay, our bed sheets were never changed and our towels were only changed when we made a point to soak them in the bath. At no point during the week was the room ever cleaned. Suffice to say, the bed sheets stank due to the heat and sweat.More
