Nice hotel

Can't really fault this hotel. Obviously every hotel has its fault. When we arrived we were put into a 2 bedroom with sea view apt. I had enquired about this but never confirmed it. So we got into room and it was lovely and spacious. Only thing was having to pay €215 for the upgrade. But you pay for what you get and we were happy with it. Hotel really clean. Hardly any noise came from other hotel like some other reviews state. All staff were friendly hotel. One grumpy employee in the supermarket. Eddy the entertainment guy is good but everyone knows he's doesn't read this. All in all the hotel is good and would def return. Would recommend going to smugglers or pizzeria for food. Only 10 minute walk from hotel and def worth it. Lastly. Sun loungers. The pool opens at 10am. Don't bother getting down early to get there 1st because as soon as the gate is opened everyone barges forward and even gets their kids to go running for loungers. Few days we went down for loungers and none left but some wouldn't get used for the whole day. More

cathron2012,

Amazing!!

Me and my partner have just returned from an 11 night holiday at SunClub. We didn't pay a lot for our holiday so weren't expecting a great deal, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were on the fifth floor and the view was amazing, we also loved the adult only terrace. We went self catering so mostly ate in our rooms, but the BBQ and pizza nights are worth the €9. There are also plenty of options around when it comes to food. The hotel was always very clean and the staff are always very polite. Kerry the hotel rep is fantastic, along with Eddie the hotel entertainer. Any problems you had, they would sort them. I would highly recommend this hotel for all ages but mainly families. I would definitely return to SunClub Hotel.More

gadgetgeekj,

Lovely hotel

Good points: The hotel is very clean and the room we had was cleaned daily it was huge for the 3 of us (2 adults and a 2 year old) had everything we needed including kettle, hob, toaster, cutlery, plates, bowls ect. If you needed clean towels you just put them in bath and they are changed. Kerry the Thompson rep is fantastic she knows a lot about the surrounding area and she always had time to talk to us. The pools are nice and big even though it says no inflatables there was plenty in the pool but still enough room for everyone to enjoy the pool. Was a little chilly at times but soon warmed up. The little beach is lovely and the sea is so clear. All the bars have free wi fi they are all friendly and if you are missing home I could highly recommend smugglers bar. Getting out and about. There is bus stop just down the road that takes you all round Salou area get a t10 card well worth the money give you 10 trips for 15 euros. Also the little train picks you up outside the hotel this was 14 euro for a 24 hour hop on hop off ticket for the 3 of us. The on site supermarket has everything you need and is reasonably priced. The bad points: We brought wi fi just for a hour this however didn't work! So wouldn't waste your time especially when you can go to bars down the road and have wi fi for free. People queuing to put towels on the sunbeds and then disappearing for the morning this is very frustrating especially when we went down around 10.30 and couldn't get a sunbed with a umbrella (for our toddler to shade) however the ones who had umbrellas had towels on the sun beds but didn't turn up till after lunch! Cap Salou is very hilly! Wouldn't recommend if you have mobility problems. There are only around 6 bars and about 3 shops not the place to go if you want more to do In Resort however Salou is around 10 min bus ride away. You don't get any washing up liquid or dish clothes in the room so we brought these so we could wash the pots. All in all great holiday we would go back. More
