Summer holiday with the better half. Started off with delays, but the hotel staff could not make you feel more at home. Eddie the entertainer is fantastic and always gets everyone going for Bingo& other great nights. Always some entertainment on. Ruben on reception was fantastic, always helpful and always up for a chat and a laugh. Cap Salou is much better than mainland Salou, much more picturesque and quiet. Bar staff, majority are helpful and lovely! Mark I believe his name was, was fantastic and the bar manager was great. Drinks and food were quiet inexpensive. Cleaners were great, only one day in the eleven days we stayed they didn't come in& that was on their day off and Ruben on reception sorted any problems out as soon as possible. We had some problems in the room, but easily sorted. Fantastic hotel with lovely staff, the hotel to stay at if your venturing to Salou/ Cap Salou!More
Good Kids Club, Cold Pool
The kids club provided by Thompson was great, the kids loved it. The reps put a lot into making it fun for the kids. The pool was freezing! I mean freezing. The kids had to put on wet suits! The sea was warmer. In October the pool only gets the sun for a couple of hours a day and doesn't heat up! I'm sure in the summer it's different. The hotel was good, had everything you needed and was clean. More
cheap late week away
we booked this week away with thomson, was very good value for money for last week of october, it was last week for resort and only 2 restaurants open in cap salou and the hotel supermarket shop open, ok for us half hour walk into salou more open, pool was cold but kids ok with it, doesn't get sun till dinner, plenty for kids to do and evening entertainment, even though hotel was quiet, you always get inconsiderate guests, that are too loud when they have had a few, clen and tidy rooms done every day but sundays,More
Waste holiday ever
First off all we arrived too are 3 rooms not ready then one off them was... got there an it wasn't even empty from the last person so we then had to move to another room then after waiting over an hour an half we could finally go to are other rooms. Are beds weren't ever changed just made again so looked like they were changed. Staff on reception an bar could be rude when they wanted too. Kids Club at night is OK but not when they are getting kids to run out back to find lolly pops especially when they try going down by the pool area ð Nothing is around the hotel have to get bus/train/taxis into salou Very noisy night time entertainment which is always the same very boring Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody very disappointedMore
