Holidays in Torrox

Torrox is proud of its historical importance on the silk route between Granada and the Near East. And up in the village you'll see the past unfold right before your eyes. From the remains of turrets and walls to the layout of the old quarter – it's all typically Moorish. Wander the steep, narrow winding streets and steps that cling to the mountainside.

Make sure you head up the hill for the weekly markets where you can pick up some local handicrafts made of lace, leather and wood.
