Couldn't fault the hotel in any way. Food was delicious and plentiful choice. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless as was the public areas. I would recommend this place to anyone.More

lovely hotel in a great location
My husband and I stayed here in June for 10 days half board. We had the most lovely relaxing holiday. the hotel is lovely in every way food was lovely plenty of it and lots of choice both for breakfast and dinner. The staff were so nice and friendly and really made you feel at home. They are a credit to the manager loved their happy hour every evening and the entertainment was very good too. It was our first visit to Fuengirola and the Florida Spa and we will def be returning again. Thanks to you all for the perfect holiday.More

Beautiful property and location - shame about the pool and food
We have just returned from the Florida Spa. On a positive note the hotel is beautiful, the staff are brilliant, and the location is fabulous. We love to use the pool on holiday, and were impressed with the brochure photographs. Unfortunately, for a hotel accommodating approximately 360 guests, the pool is totally inadequate. In fact, with 8 people splashing about it was crowded. And splashing about is all you could do, as the pool is too shallow to swim. Had we known this beforehand, we would have chosen another hotel. There were adequate sun beds, however there were not enough padded mats to go around so about 40% of bathers had to sit on plastic mesh. Though it was amusing watching the bathers fighting over them. Leaping up and grabbing them when someone got up to use the loo or the café. Our room didn't have the sea view we booked, but we were moved to another room quite quickly when we complained. Our room was very nice, and spotless - however, the bathroom floor is a death trap when wet. I would suggest you cover it with towels to avoid any nasty accidents - but this only makes a mockery of their green policy. The staff are excellent. Very helpful, always polite. Breakfast was ok. Cereal, toast, fruit. The sausages tasted like pate. So ok if you like that sort of thing, but not for us. We struggled to make up an evening meal too. We're not fussy eaters and will each more or less anything, but the quality and choice was poor, so we ended up eating out most nights rather than starve. The location is fantastic. A couple of minutes walk from everything - including some fabulous restaurants - thank goodness. Unfortunately the entertainment wasn't very good, and only a handful of people stayed in to watch, even though the hotel was full. We were asked to play bingo though! We travelled too far to play bingo. We went on the free Blanket Trip. The trip was actually very good. The blanket factory was interesting and we were offered free hospitality, and after the visit we were taken to the village of Mijas for a few hours. This was a fantastic trip. Please go on it if you get the chance. Mijas is a beautiful town with white buildings covered in beautiful flowers. The taxi's are donkey carriages and the whole place is lovely. In conclusion, if the food at this hotel is to your liking, and you get up early enough to bag yourself a sunbed with a mat, this could be the ideal hotel for you. However, for us it was not ideal. I would say its a good three star - but having stayed in many hotels - this is definitely not a Platinum Hotel.More

A wonderful break
We stayed a week at this hotel in July 2015. Every employee here should be rewarded for there excellent attitude to there job. Everyone dealing with their guests were friendly and jovial. They appear to be very happy with their job. Maybe the only ones not too friendly would be our cleaner. Our room was overlooking the beach and harbour with great panoramic views. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. We were half board and found all meals to have excellent choice and taste. The entertainment was good every night with bar staff that was also entertaining and friendly. We will be visiting again Thank you hotel Florida spa.More

Great friendly hotel
Our first visit and hopefully not out last! Staff are really friendly and make you feel at home. We stayed half board and the breakfast and dinner were amazing; great choice of food, we stayed 11 nights and didn't have the same meal twice as there are numerous choices each night. A good central location close to the beach, bus and train station so it was so easy and cheap to travel around. The entertainment was really good each night too and there is a great atmosphere with staff and fellow guests so we stayed in the hotel most evenings. If you want to sunbathe on the beach then there are discounted sunbeds for florida guests about a 10 min walk from the hotel at the yaramar hotel (3⬠each rather than 4.50/5⬠each at the beach by the hotel). Felt really safe here and it's all flat so ideal for those who have mobility issues. Loads of shops, bars and lovely parks to go sit in nearby.More
