Just returned from our holiday and this Hotel is excellent. Check in was quick and easy and was offered help with our bags which was a nice touch, reception staff helpful and welcoming. Our room was a superior room which was very spacious and had three adults staying in it, the extra bed was a full size bed and not a camp bed, all beds had mattress toppers to make them more comfortable. Lovely spacious bathroom with a walk in shower plus a full size bath, air conditioning was good and also had a ceiling fan, the fridge and safe were both free and had tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant - the head chef was amazing he was the only one who spoke to us really, my teenage son who is a fussy eater and only eats chicken as a meat, the chef would ask if he would like anything else . We thought the food was very good with plenty of choice, the bread was fresh daily and plenty of fruit, the breakfasts were also excellent. The staff were not rude but only spoke to you when you spoke first, there are a lot of repeat customers and they remember you. The entertainment was not our cup of tea, the Thomson team at the sister Hotel Yaramar a ten minute stroll away was much better in the basement, tribute bands and a comedian and music from the musicals was brilliant. Overall this is a brilliant hotel, staff good, food good , everything good, no negatives at all, we will be back.More
Terrible pool area
Unfortunately the pool side in this hotel is a desaster. Only very few sunbeds considering the huge size of the hotel. Most part of the day the sunbeds are occupied - but only by towels! There is a rule in the hotel that you can leave your place empty for 20 minutes and after that your towel is removed.. But the guy working at the pool sometimes takes them and most of the time he doesn't. There is no sense in the system, people go to have lunch for an hour or two but still reserve best places by the pool for their towels. This hotel needs to solve this problem quiqkly, it's fully booked but the pool side really sucks. More
Room with a view of the sea, along with a large balcony with table & chairs. Tea and coffee facilities replenished each day. Plenty of choice at all meals. Staff were friendly. Did not use the spa. Ideal location to get to the railway to go to Malaga. Lots of restaurants of varying cuisines in the area. Would we go back - hell yes!More
Return Trip to Fuengirola and Florida Spa Hotel
We have just returned from our 2nd trip to this hotel in the last 3 years. Once again it has been a very pleasant experience. It is in a great position for accessing the town, shops, beach and marina. Our room on the 10th floor was very clean, well equipped and had air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The TV in the room had several English channels also. The food in the restaurant was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner, with lots of choices. The staff were very good throughout the hotel, and the evening turn down service with clean fresh towels if needed was a bonus. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, and will probably go again in another couple of years.More
Amazing hotel and superb holiday
The absolute best hotel we have ever stayed in. So friendly with wonderful staff that make you feel so welcome. They can't do enough for you. The food is incredible with so much choice at every meal. We had a fantastic room with balcony overlooking the marina. We can't wait to go back again.More
