It’s the location that scores top marks here. You’ll find it right in the heart of Fuengirola, overlooking the harbour. The beach is a short hop from the doorstep. And there are several golf courses in the area, too. The city of Malaga is about a 30-minute drive away, or you can catch the train from the centre of town.
Setting aside, the pool area is impressive, too. The rectangular swimming pool is quite small but more than adequate for the number of guests, and - as it’s sheltered by the hotel buildings - the terrace is a real sun trap. There’s a poolside bar on hand, too, where snacks are served right through the day.
As for the property itself, it’s simply-styled, glass-trimmed and 12 floors high. Willy Wonka-style glass elevators offer up amazing views. And the lobby and restaurants are spotlit spaces dressed with marble floors and potted plants. The bedrooms, meanwhile, are modern with pale green walls, chunky wood furniture and floral linens. In-room extras include satellite TVs and small fridges, not to mention a slate and marble bathroom.
Last but not least, is the spa – which is said to be one of the best in Andalucia. Try the hydrotherapy pool where massages come courtesy of fountains, jets and waterfalls. Or the signature treatments such as the chocolate body wrap are well worth paying a little extra for.

Golden Girls 13th Visit
Just got back having been again. Not disappointed,we have been going since it opened 7years ago, whils't it is not as pristine as it sister hotels,it is still very clean, very friendly and there are more free extras ie.the spa and dressing gowns. The food is fresh, plentiful and a great variety Maria and the "girls" in the restaurant are brilliant and are a great asset to the hotel. The spa /Hydro pool are still free for the residents and we used it every day, great for tired bodies. For some reason Thomson still pick up too early for the return journey so breakfast is just cereal and toast, bad on Thomsons service. We did a trip to gibralter with John and Elaine(from Nottingham) who run the travel shop at the bus station. We had no problem getting in/out but it seems to be pot luck.Went up to the chocolate factory in Nirja who have opened up a cafe since our last visit, well worth a visit, 1.15euros from the bus station. We would warn you about the beggars, we were stopped on the main street ,needless to say we didn't give the ladies anything, some 30minutes later we saw them shopping in the supermarket, completely different demenour.More

Industrial style holiday hotel
Hotel is popular with people in the Autumn of their lives escaping the autumnal drop in temperatures from more northern climbs. I had a flying visit, Its got 4 stars on their invoice but I don't believe its a 4 star hotel. I was able to check in easily without a reservation. €60 for Bed no breakfast. Rooms are clean very warm for some reason and would recommend this place for any one on an extended winter break in the south of Spain. I got a free token for their Spa but it was closed when I arrived at 6pm and it didn't open until 10am the next morning my flight was at 8am. Its a handy hotel for the Airport.More

Just back from a weeks holiday in what was one of the best hotels we have stayed at (we have stayed at a lot of hotels in the past) The food, and variety was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful Rooms were fine and because I have a disability the receptionist who noticed my walking stick, gave us a room with a walk in shower which was great The free WiFi use of safe and room fridge was an added bonus I can understand why there are sometimes unjustified complaints as on one day, two women came into the dining room , put their hand on the insulated jacket of the soup and said they would not have any because it felt cold !!! I cannot fault the hotel in any way and fully recommend itMore

Just back from here after two week stay, hotel we'll situated near the front and the room we had 1220 had good views over the marina, food was good with plenty of choice. Reception staff were very helpful especially Sergio who we had a good laugh with, dining room and bar staff all very friendly. Only complaint I had was with the cleaners who did our room but this was quickly sorted out. Room was a decent size with double bed, free safe and fridge in room also kettle for tea or coffee which is supplied by the hotel. Kim the rep was good and any problems were noted and sorted. Location very good near the front for shops and restaurants, nice and flat for easy walking.More
