Currently in this hotel on yet another visit. In a double room spotlessly clean ,went to breakfast this morning 8am room done by the time we came back! Cannot think there could be a better choice of food for either breakfast or dinner. Waiters now serve coffee or tea at table for breakfast which is nice. Several dishes prepared to order.Re entertainment, you cannot please all the people all the time just impossible.Bus stops outside the hotel beautiful promenade and currently glorious sunshine! What more do you need.More

First time visit.
We stayed here in November and this was our first visit to this part of Spain. Overall we found our experiance here very good. The hotel was pleasant and very clean throughout. Our room was lovely with plenty of space and a huge bed! We thought the food was great with a wonderful choice both morning and evening. The staff were fine being both polite and helpful. It has a nice pool area (again very clean and well kept) overlooking the bay. There is guests entrance/exit on the sea front side accessed by a lift. We thought the bar could have been better but with plenty of other bars nearby this is not really a problem. Overall we thought this hotel was a a good place to stay and we would certainly consider staying here again.More

We have just returned fom a week in the Riviera (7th - 14th Dec) and what a week we had. Weather was fab for time of year. Last visited in 2008 and the hotel has been totally refurbished since to a high standard, and we loved it all. We requested a high floor and got the 8th. Couldn't be higher with fab views. The room was great and we loved the colours. We requested a double bed but couldn't believe the size of it, 3 people would fit in no problem. Bathroom had twin basins and a fab walk in shower, with two shower heads. one small and one large square one. Towels were changed everyday even if we left them to use a second time. Our bed linen was also changed after two days. The only small problem I would say was a bit of a foisty smell in the doorway of bathroom but not all of the time. Plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes. There was a fridge to use at a charge, but we didn't. We would if we stayed at the height of summer. Now to the food, which was great, plenty of choice, roast beef and yorkshire pud was a treat, and the rice pudding was to die for. Have never been to a hotel where all of the staff were so helpful and pleasant, and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was ever a problem. Hotel Angela Fuengirola take note. Sunbeds a plenty, we went to the second level where there were also large double beds with canopies, again ideal in very hot weather. I think the only disappointment was the a la carte restuaurant. Our friend ordered the sea bass which was supposed to be on a bed of potatoes and veg, he asked where the potato was, she said I can get you roast pots, she brought out a jacket potato smothered in mayonnaise, but he is dairy intolerant but was not asked, so could not eat it. we did expected other veg with our main meal but only got 3 asparagus spears. Our last breakfast was also a bit of a shambles. Three coaches were leaving at the same time, but only 1 hot drinks/fresh orange machine was working so people had to queue. I made a note to say they were empty but people still tried to use them, one of the staff came and took note away. This wouldn't stop us going back however and we will return especially at the price we paid.More

first time at this hotel
This hotel is situated alongside a very busy main road so could be a problem in summer if wanting to sit on the balcony ask for a room away from the road, but being so near to the road is very convenient for using the very good bus service a fixed fare of 1.65 euros will get you to most places. our room was ok huge comfy bed, plenty of drawer space decent bathroom plenty of hot water and cleaned very well every day. Flat screen TV with only 2 news channels in English more would be useful when the weather is bad. The buffet restaurant has a good salad bar good selection of meat & fish dishes, we tried the a la carte it was ok but preferred the buffet restaurant. we didn't see any of the entertainment preferring to go out after dinner to Lizzies bar across the road . The only thing we didn't like about the hotel was paying 3 euros a day for a safe. Although having free wifi throughout the hotel was a bonus. The staff without exception were very pleasant & helpful & Becky our Thomsons rep was a gem,More
